My husband and I are looking for land in the area surrounding Klamath Falls. An acquaintance here is coincidentally from Klamath falls. She told me the other day that she would never live in Chiloquin because it's "a native town". I asked her what that means. She said as a white person she'd never be in that town after dark because it gets "really wild".
It's incredibly racist to describe and undesirable location as "a native town" and low-key racist to assume I'm white. I'm Woodland Cree.
So is she right? Is it a dangerous, undesirable place to buy land and live in? What do you think?
Looking to see if anyone might need help trimming in exchange for flower. š Also just if you wanna be friends you can message me too I always need more friends lol
That bud at the dispensary isnāt cutting it and my indoor wonāt be ready until Decemberā¦.anyone local harvesting around here? TIA
Hey I've driven by Crest Park a few times lately and have seen a black suv that has a security decal on the side parked there or right by the road and was wondering if it's a legit thing around other parks or just a weirdo that put the decal on their car and has too much time on their hands because I've never seen it any where else.
Hey all, we're looking at a couple houses and I'm looking to see what the cost of utilities are going to look like. I understand certain costs will depend house to house. Both houses are in the Hager area (East side of town) and if anyone can give input I would appreciate it. Thanks!
Pretty much the title. The rent in my building went up with no announcement and I'm looking into what I can do as far as legal action or in protest without losing the roof over my head.
Klamath reminds me of my small Midwestern town of Muncie, IN (population 112k). I Moved here to be with my partner.
He owns a home, I donāt have children (donāt want children), will be working at the hospital, not religious, social drinker, into outdoor stuff, 30 year old woman! I kayak for fun & we plan on climbing mount shasta in May. I like crafts, was a big river kayaker in Indiana. I donāt smoke weed but I do attend festivals!
Where do similar people like myself go?
I donāt care about all the negative things you have to say about your hometown. People do the same thing to my former hometown but it was filled with wonderful people & you just had to look. Every town has its issues. Iām here now & Iām determined to make the best out of K-falls.
My old hometown had a vibrant downtown life filled with people like myself. I guess Iām just trying to meet those folks like myself around here.
Thank you in advance for sharing your favorite spots, go to places, & where people go!
So it begins
Fairly new to the area and fairly new to fly fishing. Just curious who all is out there that shares similar hobbies.
Pretty sign, cannot be read when entering the lot, so who is it for, pedestrians?
I am looking for a local source for duck eggs, preferably somewhere I might be able to buy them a few eggs at a time, rather than a dozen at once. At this point, though, I would be happy with a dozen.
I use them to make pysanky. My last source was a boy in 4H who graduated and moved on. Then I stopped making them for quite awhile, but would like to start again. I don't make them fast enough to go through the eggs before they go bad and I don't eat eggs, so I would be getting rid of the others.
I saw that reptile guy at the library who does kid shows a while back. Anyone have any good or weird or bad experiences with him? I'm considering trying to do a party for my kid who loves snakes and bugs and stuff, but I dunno, something seemed kind of off about the guy......
Anyone know of someone that would do private dance lessons in town for two people?
I have a hunting knife i would like to have professionally sharpened and possibly even reshaped/reground. Does anyone in klamath do that? Thanks.
What does everyone think about measure 118?
Hello! My husband and I will be traveling to the area Oct 14th-oct 22nd, and would love recommendations on stuff to do. Sunset views, museums, farmers market, etc. TIA!
Hello everyone,
I will be moving to Klamath in a week as a healthcare traveler and would love to make some connections. I am a 30 year old male and enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, and a few other sports (pickleball, tennis, soccer). Would appreciate any recommendations for joining social groups to make friends and get acquainted with the community. Thanks!
I do a lot of running and cycling and want to incorporate swimming. I donāt want to pay for lap swimming. Is there a place I could bike to within 20 miles from klamath falls that I could swim? Maybe hagel steen or something?

I'm semi familiar with KF, but am curious about the surrounding areas/towns. What can you tell me about Bonanza and Sprague. I'm considering buying land and am unfamiliar with these two areas as far as crime, ease of finding water for well, etc.
It's been out for me all day today.
