L'Orchestre Odeon (Bar Oriental Stanleyville)

Dans les années 1940, un orchestre fut formé et devint le deuxième orchestre le plus populaire de Stanleyville.

Leur nom était Odeon, puisqu'ils enregistraient toujours avec Odeon, mais en ajoutant l'Oriental Bar parce qu'ils jouaient dans un bar du centre de Stanleyville appelé Oriental Bar, Oriental Bar parce que Stanleyville est dans la province de l'Oriental, et aussi parce que la musique qui y était joué Je jouais beaucoup de musique cubaine orientale (Son, Rumba, Guaracha, Guanguacó, etc.). L'orchestre se consacrait à jouer ces genres ainsi que de la musique européenne qui était également jouée à Stanleyville, ils jouaient lors d'événements spéciaux et ils a également joué dans le même bar oriental.

Il y avait 2 chanteurs, l’un était un homme et l’autre une femme.
