This is the third track from King Crimson's tenth album, Three of a Perfect Pair. How do you feel about this song? What are some of your favorite lyrics? What’s your favorite live performance of the song? How would you rank it among the rest of the band’s discography? How would you rate it out of 10 (decimals allowed)?
SUGGESTED SCALE:
1-4: Not good. Regularly skip.
5: It’s okay, but I might have to be in the right mood to listen to it.
6: Slightly better than average. I won’t skip it, but I wouldn’t choose to put it on.
7: This is a good song. I enjoy it quite a bit.
8-9: Really enjoyable songs. I rank them pretty high overall.
10: Masterpiece, magnum opus, or similar terminology.
At the end of this discussion series, I will compile the results from each discussion and create a full discography ranking.

Hi! I have two tickets for sale for the Portland Oregon show on November 22. 2nd row Pit seats P2 Seat 19 and 20.
Hello all,
Just got my copy in the mail today. Found out I have two copies of disc 3, which is the USA concerts on Blu-ray. I’m missing the 4th disc.
Anyone else have two Blu-ray discs of the same thing?
I know it isn't 100% K.C. related, but I have been listening to the 1981 Fripp's project called The League of Gentlemen for quite some time now. Although most of the songs' lyrics can be found online, I have been struggling to find the lyrics for the song "Trap", which is kind of spoken-wordish. Does anybody know where I can find the lyrics or transcribe them?
Anyone have any luck with getting autographs/signatures at beat shows? I'm seeing them in Chicago and I'm pumped. I plan on standing by the tour busses after the show, but i wanted to know if people have had any luck with this. I love KC but I'm an even bigger Zappa fan and would freak if I got Adrian or Steve's signature.
I can’t find any info on who designed it but it looks like it definitely could be AI?
I noticed this randomly and am curious what’s going on here

Love prog, some of my favorites are Yes, The Mars Volta, Camel,Genesis, Opeth, Porcupine Tree and I find myself wanting to keep unearthing gems. I have Court and Red just arrived yesterday (so good). I searched an old post here from about a year ago and I prefer to hear from people on here rather then doing a google search for generic rankings.
I may go crate digging this week at record stores, but these are what I have in my discogs wishlist at the moment. I should say I am definitely getting the Steve Wilson remix of Larks, but beyond that I haven't listened to a ton, and I oftentimes love going into something blind!
Be fun to hear from y'all but realize it's all personal taste. Thanks!

im registered on dimeadozen but couldnt download anything yet. are they available anywhere else?
Sorry if this has already been asked, but what is the most played song live? I have to believe that it's Red. And in keeping with this, how many songs were never played live? I believe that up until BEAT, Model Man was never performed live by a KC lineup. What else?
I can’t find anything about it, no matter how deep I dive. Does anyone have any idea?

OK maybe this is a silly question but I can't get it out of my head.
The 2 concerts I saw in So Cal '84 began with Fripp coming out and doing some Fripptronics, then Belew adding some distortion and then they were joined by the full band who, after some entertaining cacophony, launched into Lark's Aspic III.
But one night Fripp came out and began a quite beautiful rhythmic pattern like usual... very transfixing... Then out came Belew and, with nary a look at Fripp, launched into a fierce distorted explosion which truly seemed to have no relation to anything Robert was playing. The effect was actually rather comical (not in a bad way.) Well, Robert seemed pissed. He marched right off the stage and didn't come back until he rest of the band did.
My questions is: Do you think he was really that angry? Or was he kinda just playing along with the musical theatre?
(Wonderful shows btw)
The more I think the more I realize the Lizard line-up is probably the most strange in their long runtime. It seems like after Lizard came out Gordon Haskell and Andy McCulloch just dipped to do their own shit.
6 hours drive time, one way. Two overnights. I'm happy.
Adrian is messing with a box on stage during Industry and making all sorts of excellent sonics. What is said box called? I saw Gibby play on one at a Butthole Surfers gig a decade ago. Friend told me Johnny Greenwood used one with Radiohead as well but he doesn’t know what it’s called either.
