Doesn't Nakime control the entirety of Infinity Castle and can essentially portal people places? If so, why did she let multiple Hashira take on the Upper Moons at the same time? For example, Kokushibo would've 100% won if he took on Gyomei, Sanemi, Muichiro and Genya separately and Nakime portaled each person to him one after the other. Is there some in-story reason why she couldn't do this or is this just tremendously thick plot armor?

So to summarize, a friend and I are making an AU in which characters that have committed crimes are given the choice to join a group full of reformed criminals in order to carry out certain dangerous missions, (basically Suicide Squad but with KNY lol) and we need some ideas on what crimes the characters could've committed (specifically the Hashira but any other character is fine). Here's what we have so far.

Zenitsu: accomplice in robbery Inosuke: assault with a weapon Kyojuro: arson (not just because he's the flame hashira) Tengen: grand larceny Shinobu: something to do with poison idk Sanemi: Murder (why wouldn't it be?)

Does Inosuke have heightened smell and hearing like Tanjiro and Zenitsu?

I tried doing my own research on this sub and I couldn't find the answer so forgive me if it's been discussed before.

I also have not read the Manga yet so forgive me if it's discussed in the manga(I'm currently finishing a longfic in a different Fandom and I plan to celebrate by purchasing the KnY manga)

I know Inosuke is the King of Mountains so I am assuming he has excellent smell and hearing similar to Tanjiro and Zenitsu

Since demons only eat humans or drink their blood for their needs, I've always wondered how regular food would be like to demons. Like in Tokyo Ghoul, food tastes dire and inedible to ghouls, what about demons?

So I was rewashing Demon Slayer to get back up to tone for the movies coming (English dub 1st then Japanese). I'm on Season 3 Episode 5 (about halfway rn), of the English dub, and when Ugly Fish Demon called the swordsmiths' (Kotetsu (idk how it spelled tried my best) and Muichiro's new swordsmith I think) lives worthless, and it kinda semi-gave Muichiro some of his memories back. I don't remember this happening, what I remember was that they all came back in episode 8. I can't really show screenshots, my phone will screenshot the thingy but the show just comes up as black. So does everyone remember this memory thing going the same way as I do, or is it just my undiagnosed memory issues? (Edit is for fixing grammar and stuff)

I'm just thinking about the fact that Kyojuro was one of the very few people who even bothered with Giyu.

Actually the Kamaboko squad, which has Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Kanao and Genya all represent the five senses of the body which are smell, hearing, touch, sight and taste respectively. Tanjiro, which is kind of shown from the beginning has a keen sense of smell. Zenitsu can hear everyone's heartbeat and sounds, which is why he knew that there was a demon inside Tanjiro's box. Inosuke, as shown in the manga, has a keen sense of touch as his skin tingles when someone is behind him. No wonder he was able to dodge Gyutaro's attack. Kanao can predict someone's attack like she did in the manga, maneding to avid Douma's attacks. And Genya can eat demons and gain there strength for some time like he did in the Swordsmith Village Arc.

I just finished the anime but I was wondering if there were any differences between the colored and original manga, except the colour of course.

After so damn long I got it. Im probably gonna get a Kokushibo figurine and poster for Christmas along with his flesh katana cause why not? Who doesn’t want a poster of such a legend? 🌙🎄

After watching all 4 Seasons of the anime. It's very similar but lighter and made for younger audience. The first 3 seasons of KnY sort of stretched out Tanjiro's training and adventures with slower pacing and easier to understand backdrop of the demon slayer corps with the hashira similar to Bleach's 13 gotei and captains. Except the hashiras are really teenagers vs Bleach's captains that are essentially immortal or even older.

As for the fighting, the focus in KnY is mainly drawing on different energy techniques and this is where it is weaker than Bleach. The attack moves are not well explained, since they are not magic nor some super power moves. More blade cutting techniques infused with the special effects. In Bleach each person has a special sword that gives them their special move in addition to their soul arts that are similar to the Demon Arts of KnY.

Overall, KnY is easier to watch as the pacing is slower and more comic relief. Tanjiro is very typical of Japanese male roles that are gifted, tenacious, and very resilent. The main difference is that Ichigo of Bleach is more of a badass to start and gained his power accidentally rather than through hard training.

These are just the top of my head the similiarities overall.

Bleach is definitely meant for older audience, it's more complex and the story is much longer and intricate.

I just finished The Entertainment District Arc, and holy where do I even begin. The fights in this Arc are freaking unbelievable, Tengen Zui vs Gyutaro had me feeling all type of ways. This Anime is truly a masterpiece because of the fights alone. I don't understand how people are saying Demon Slayer is carried by it's fights, the story so far has exceeded my expectations. This is one of my Anime after starting my Anime journey not long ago, and I can say for certain that Demon Slayer is the reason I wanna continue watching Anime. A whole new world has opened for me after finally finding Season 1 of Demon Slayer in the country I live.

(And btw the way Zenitsu should always be sleeping guy is COLD when he actually fights)

It bring a lot of perspective of punishing bad people a demon with a unique ideology. I wonder would Tanjiro kill this person even though they are the least evil demon he have met.

Is anybody else surprised that Tanjiro's sense of smell was never used against him? I assumed a demon with skunk powers would come along and stun him with an awful smell, maybe even knock him out. Same with Zenitsu's hearing, Hantengu's sonic blasts could have been devastating to Zenitsu but they never met. The smell thing is obvious too me, perhaps it's too ON THE NOSE! Get it! I will see my self out.
