2013 Spinal just looks way to cluttered to me. Sometimes simplicity is key!
I really like my new Code 118 wallet, but u may have to switch after I found my old Nintendo Killer Instinct chain wallet from back in the day. (You can just barely make out the faded embossed KI logo.)
Here’s a clip of me playing with Arbiter against CPU as Hisako and don’t mind that I cropped the clip it’s because I don’t want to show my gamertag due to privacy reasons, But enjoy!
I ask as there is much footage of KI at Nintendo's 1995 E3 booth. They definitely displayed it for the American Super Nintendo. In fact, I think there is YouTube footage of the arcade unit for Nintendo's E3 booth (opposed to Midway).
However, I do not think anything KI related made it to Shoshinkai 95 (Maybe a later show, I don't know).
They did show Rareware's Blast Dozer at Shoshinkai 96, not sure about 95.
I am aware that the Japanese audience likely valued KI as much as Mortal Kombat: Minimally compared to SF2, and the unstoppable VF2.
Hey Everyone!
I was just wondering if there are many other newer KI players entering the game at this point. I've tried playing online but have only met other players that take me out in two or three touches to the point where I feel like this game is only meant for veterans. It's honestly a big deterrent as I'm essentially just watching a movie of my butt getting beat but I'm potentially just being salty. Have fond memories of playing this game as a kid but boy does it feel bad just constantly getting matched against people who have played this for years where as I have only played for less than ten hours. Should I just stick to SF6 and Strive?
We're gonna need a fresh new batch of martial artists & warriors to join in for future KIs! Those with certain fighting styles as well as weapons.
Any warrior ideas that could join for future KIs? Like say an elder fighter whether male/female?
There's also a gunslinger that has not been added onto KI yet as well since Kurtis Stryker, Cassie Cage & Erron Black.
While Jago is Tibetan, is it possible to add a shaolin monk into the mix or no? We don't have a staff user even though Hisako took up a naginata.
While Orchid took up her Eskrima sticks, can someone new take up her tonfas since KI2?
Spinal has a cutlass & shield. We probably won't get a Spartan warrior/Gladiator to take up that.
There are many weapons to choose from! Same with fighting styles.
Help choose & create!
I think it would be cool if they introduced a witch/Hag, I feel they should pull from a witch/Hag coven from folklore and fantasy settings. More or less have 3 different hags, that in general, play the same (similar normals), but each has a different gimmick, and you could switch between them, but use them as a team.
One could be high mobility/rushdown with a broom, one could focus on zoning with projectiles/spells/potions as well as focus on hexes (buffs/debuffs), and the last one could be a pseudo puppet/trap character who focuses on using pet familiars (frogs, crows, black cats) to set up different attacks.
Instead of having the traditional 2 health bars, have 3 smaller modified ones and if you lose a bar, you lose that specific hag/witch (like Aria). You can set up really neat combinations of attacks by switching between them. For example: Hag 3 summons a familiar frog who can lash out it's tongue and eat all projectiles for a set amount of time(friend and foe), switch to Hag 2 who throws an explosive potion that the frog familiar eats. She also casts an enlarge spell on the frog who now is a giant ticking bomb but is too big to move on its own now, switch to Hag 1 who swoops in on her broom, moving the frog bomb across the level while also applying pressure against the opponent. Just a rough idea of a thought.
To go back to the coven, witches/hags are stronger in groups of 3, have their Instinct move be where all three of them are on screen at once, depending on which witch/hag you are controlling at the start of activation, your moves are amplified due to the coven.
Witches/hags have very deep lore that can be used to build out a really fun character. Feel like they could fit perfect with Killer Instinct for being spooky and cartoonish at the same time.
I can confirm that in the latest update of KI You can fight Shadow Jago in the story mode arcade ladder of season 1 even if you loose a fight
What I did was
At least 1 ultra before the fight five
An ultra in fight five and six
2 supreme victories
It's fucking rude, specially if I'm trying to learn the game.
Is the rest of the community this toxic?
Tusk's Theme from the last game might be my favorite theme from the game and was wondering if it corresponds to a specific genre and if there're bands that play similar music.
Thanks in advance?
Was playing Ki classic on my xbox and clicked final version i looked up and saw this. Don’t know how i did it (i think i was holding RT)
The conditions for this fight are simple. Both contestants get to use any moves and abilities they have in their respective games (As bosses and as playable characters), The fight will take place on that one Eyedol stage where if you kill him, his heads explode (Because if it took place on Gargos' Stage or Eyedol's other Stage, Gargos would have an unfair advantage), there's no time limits, and either of them wins by killing the other. Who are you betting on?
Title explains it All but I hate fighting Shadow Jago more than anything if I'm completely honest. I always found Shadow Jago as a nuisance as all he does ends up dashing through the screen or spamming projectiles, I know Shadow Jago is a character that is a noob stomper and is easily stomped in most situations when you learn how to fight him but I always never liked dealing with him
