I love these so thought I’d share them with you all 🥰 I’ve made a few and they’re stunning on my table! 😍 They’re poinsettia coasters by Mumsy makes crochet. Going to make a few of these for Christmas gifts for my mum too 🥰🎄🧶 Link in the comments if you want to make them. It’s a free tutorial on YouTube but there is a written pattern too 🧶

(Feel free to comment on this post at any time, however old it is)
About a month ago, u/GlassOfWater_123 stepped down as mod. There is now a completely new mod team! Myself (u/ilikebluesocks), u/SimonJay44, and u/oceuye. We are so excited to be your new mods! We would like to thank u/GlassOfWater_123 for creating and taking care of this sub for so long. We appreciate all your hard work and we will miss you as mod of this sub!
As of right now we have stopped doing "Theme of the month." Is this something you guys really want to continue, or are you okay with discontinuing it?
On that subject, what are some things you guys would like to see in this sub to increase interaction? We are open to any suggestions. Whether you guys want contests, themes, or anything else we would love to hear from you.
Are there any knitters in this sub? We've thought about allowing knitting posts one day of the week.
Finally, thank you! Thank you for being apart of this sub and keeping it going. We are so grateful for all of the members of this sub. Feel free to comment any thoughts or suggestions on anything, and you can also message us through ModMail.
Hello everyone! I am a teacher at a school, and they asked me to teach crochet to children between grades 1-4 in the after school program. I was planning on starting with headbands, but any suggestions are welcome. How would you introduce them to crochet? What type of yarn and crochet size would you choose for a first practice class with single stitch?
