Anyone know the manager or have a connection to discount tire? Got new tire put on there today, and asked them to leave my keys under the floor mat of the car so I could pick it up after hours. They said no problem. I just tried to pick it up and the car is locked, assuming they just forgot to do what I asked. I’m from Utah and need to be back tomorrow and need to get my keys asap. Can anyone connect me to someone that can help?
Does anyone know of any available small venue spaces? I’m trying to throw my daughter a little birthday party but don’t know of any small spaces I can rent…all I can find are large event venues for weddings.
Any good places to park my car for 3ish weeks? Im flying home and leaving my car here, but airport parking is $108 per week seems like a lot
I posted recently about if there are any clubs around and I've got some great responses so thank you! Now, I am basically posting on behalf of my boyfriend. He is in his mid 30s and is looking for friends, same as me :) I have made some here and there and it has been great but definitely lots of effort has gone into it! He's a bit more hesitant about doing Bumble BFF lol since guys aren't really on there and going to random clubs. He is into movies, mostly old fantasy movies, adventure, mystery. We have made some short film's together and want to continue but my work schedule is much more full these days so he was hoping to find someone who is into filming/writing/camera gear/anything movie related lol which is definitely niche. He also plays magic and some video games like final fantasy, he likes going out for drinks, and is generally super hilarious and easy going. It's just been so hard to come here from out of state knowing no one, and then many of our friends we made along the at randomly movie out of state again. Is there like....a movie club around here haha? Or is anyone here interested in that? Any suggestions on what direction I could point him in? Thanks so so much!! You've all helped me already so i appreciate it!
It seems in both Bozeman and Missoula there is a decently healthy metal scene. Are there any venues in Kalispell or Flathead that regularly host local Metal shows?
Does anyone know a few charities or programs in the valley that are looking for some extra hands for the upcoming holidays?
I only know of Land to Hand and Days for Girls.
Any mentions would be appreciated!
Hello! I'm trying to make friends in the Valley. Where are all these clubs to join that people talk about? I've joined a couple Facebook hiking groups, and once saw a flyer in whitefish for a movie club. Is there a forum or something online where people list clubs dates and times lol?
This post is for any moms in the “Kalispell Moms!” Fb group. I’m moving to Libby with my family and requested to join this group since we will be coming to Kalispell a few times a month for appts and things. Libby has no mom fb groups so I figure joining a Kalispell one would be the next best thing. Plus I like to search groups for answers to questions I have about the area etc, we are a military family and I utilize mom groups for info whenever we move :) However, I have not only been denied to join the group but now blocked and I have no idea why. They said I did not answer the questions, which is possible since I have fat thumbs and was nursing my newborn when I requested to join. So I requested again, making sure to answer the two questions (are you a mom and agree to group rules). And now the group is not even visible to me… I’m assuming this means I’ve been blocked. Can anyone who is in the group screenshot this post and post it there for admin to see please?? I’d be so grateful. Since I cannot even see the group anymore I am not able to message an admin. Thank you!
I've lived here all my life and I've sometimes wondered about if we have our own small town story and if there's possibly anything that could have happened around kalispell/whitefish/cfalls throughout the past and I've wondered if any other locals would know stories of any kind, since it's starting to become spooky season I've always wanted to go and explore and learn about these kind of things.
I am looking for the name of the man who did thousands of interviews with people in hospice care in the flathead valley . I was with my father when he was video taped. My father fell silent right after he left .The tape has been kept away from me and I need to find the man to see if there is an archive he kept. Any help would be very much appreciated.
This post contains a lot of information: Does anybody on this sub-Reddit have any experience being sued by Centron Services/Rocky Mountain Professional Services and/or debt-collectors in Montana and what is the best course of action in regards to getting case dismissed. .... (Owed a bill for around $350 to Logan Health, was indigent at the time and still am, thought issue was taken care of. Apparently sent to debt-collections agency and now they filed a suit and are trying to say I have a debt for around $3,300. Did have a process server try giving me paperwork prior to finding out who party was. Stated that I am not sure that I have to identify myself. Process-server said "fair enough". Called an attorney/acquaintance, they didn't say to accept paperwork or not to accept paperwork. Called Rocky Mountain Professional Solutions directly. Asked for paperwork to be sent. Did have some argument with female on phone, Anyways, we have the original billing from Logan Health for around $350 and I aim to contest the amount and/or have case dismissed. Any informative thoughts or experience regarding Centron Services, or debt collections lawsuits in general and how to win them (especially as applicable in Montana)? Thanks in advance.
Looking at coming down from Alberta for a couple of days Oct 10th-13th. Quick getaway with some shopping and just relaxing.
Few questions:
Having a hard time finding any 2 bedroom suites in hotels, or even Air BnBs in the area that aren't super expensive. Coming with my MIL so needing a bit of extra space. Or perhaps even a hotel with a pool that can do connecting rooms.
We will have a 5 year old. Searching it doesn't look like too much to do. Anyone have any ideas for fun activities?
Lastly, I read one of the roads to the national park might be closed by that time. If we wanted to go visit, what's the best place too look to find information?
Thanks!
Anyone hear any updates about the pfas situation in kalispell near grandview and the armory?
Hello all - anyone who has done this tour in past years…is it worth it? The tickets are not inexpensive and I’d like to take two 10 year olds who love Halloween/horror but there are so many other options in the valley for immersive Halloween tours that I could spend hundreds of dollars.
Would you go again/recommend it? Would 10 year old boys find it fun/cool? Or, dull?
Thank you!
Looking for a nice place to take my wife for our wedding anniversary.
I'll be visiting from Edmonton AB in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for some great places to eat that won't put me in the poor house.
Are there any good pizza (no national chains) places that stand out and BBQ places too? Also, any place that can serve an outstanding breakfast w/ biscuits and gravy?
We are leaving SF Bay Area for week long to Kalispell/Glacier National Park and then driving to Banff, Alberta. Looking forward to it. A couple of questions
I am looking at weather and it doesn't look it will be very cold or snowy although possible rain. Is it necessary to even bring a heavy jacket? I hope it does not rain as we plan to do some short hikes and also have a horseback ride planned for Tuesday
I am burnt out of politics but am indeed curious as to how many MAGA People are in that part of Montana. Not that I plan to engage but is it as conservative/Trump supporting as some say? I am a moderate democrat but keep poliitics to myself unless it's with friends.
I'm new to this area of Montana and I'm curious where does everyone hang out? Any particular bars or places to meet new people? (29f)
Are you or someone you know a fan of certain Canadian groceries? I love visiting other countries and seeing what’s on their shelves, using a translator app in some counties to get by. It’s a joy for me and would like to find another person with as much enthusiasm towards food and groceries and make this an ongoing thing. I’m Looking to find 1 or a few people to do some grocery exchanges with a few times a year.
I’ve been a member of the r/snackexchange for years and would be nice to find another long standing Reddit user who would appreciate an opportunity such as this.
DM if interested and please ask any questions publicly if you’d like.
I’m located in Lethbridge if anyone was wondering
Cheers 🍻
Edit: forgot to mention, I’ll be driving down there so you don’t have to pay for shipping….. make the trip a few times a year as well
We are vacationing in Kalispell for 3 days next week and then on to Banff. Of course we are going to Glacier but Im curious if there are any must see places- museums, state parks in area? Also would be interested in horseback riding. They have it in Glacier but $90 an hour is very high.
Hi. I’m coming to town for an event. My flight gets in late morning on a weekday and my check in time for Airbnb is not until 4pm. Where can I wait comfortably with my two polite kids and 70 year old parent? I was thinking about a library or a mall or something similar indoors with seating and restrooms. We don’t mind spending some money to be comfortable.
I just saw some absolutely mind boggling shit. Did anyone else see that tonight? Or does anyone else have any firsthand UFO experiences in the valley area?
