Back brake lever has a lot of play and brake is not engaging. Any idea what the issue may be? How to bleed brake line? Front brake has no issues. Thanks 😊

I'm in the market for a new dirt bike and have narrowed it down to the KTM 450xcf-w or the Ktm 350xcf-w, but now I'm torn. I rode a 450 and loved the power, but a dealer told me to look into the 350. I love everything about the 350, it may not have enough power to make it up some of the hill climes we ride up. Does anyone have experience on one or both of these bikes and be able to share how they felt about them?

Curious what people did to theirs in terms of mods. I only see full black ones with mods

I know it's horrible to say this but I'm considering an aliexpress exhaust + ordering a tune kit from bt moto. The pervious owner already has the aliexpress special clutch cover + levers, mirrors bar ends + bits and bobs.

There was no included stock parts and the bike was low km + cheap. The owner left in the garage and when I bought it, it probably never had an oil change at 2k km.

Runs lovely aside from some odd glitches and it's sitting in my garage.

Are the aliexpress exhausts that bad if ran with a tune? This tune box supposedly can revert to stock or other tunes so I'm kinda feeling like a gamble.

In the future I plan on getting a 1390 sdr as I rode the 1290 for like two weeks in December and put 6k km on it vs the previous two owners, 2k in 4 years. Tldr:

get exhaust as an experiment or is it really as bad as it seems? I bought a full exhaust for my other bikes and it just didn't seem worth it compared to cheaper options.

I kinda have a thing with enduro/supermoto bikes. The KTM SMR 450 catched my eye, but unfortunately I won't be able to legally register that beast here in Austria. So I searched the net and found this https://vmracing.it/vm-450-smr So my questions here are

• If this is a KTM but they switched/added the parts to be able to register it
• Is it a whole different bike but just shares the name smr?
• Whats the difference between them?
• Can I register this bike without any major problems in Austria?

IE: as per whatever road/off road mode you last set?

I’ve been looking to extend my range with aux fuel tanks. Google shows me IMS made a tank that replaced the front fairings, but I can’t find it for sale anywhere. Anyone know what happened to it? I’d rather pay an extra 150 bucks to get 2.4 gals over the 1.5 gals of rade garage, and I don’t need a safari tank. Not a fan of putting rotopax on, so really hoping I can track down the IMS

I’m in a situation where I’m trying to decide whether to wait a whole year for the 1390 GT or buy the 1390 R EVO in the spring and enjoy the entire riding season.

I’ve read everywhere that the 1390 R EVO is a brilliant bike and also very capable for touring.

My only concern is that I want to bring my wife along for weekend rides, including local trips and some longer tours (85% local trips – 15% long tours). She isn’t used to riding on a motorcycle and is slightly afraid of it.

I know the GT would probably be better for this, but I wanted to ask about your experience with riding two-up.

I'm thinking of practicing with using low speed stuff and i want to learn to drift with it eventually.

I'm just curious if it's a fragile bike or I'm pretty ok if it tips a few times. Not like crash; just the usual tip

Does anyone know what the outlet diameter size (in mm) of tekmo header for euro 4 smc 690 is? Cuz i need to know if i could install an euro 4 exhaust on my 2024 euro 5 ktm. Thx
