so many releases and idk where to begin
I started with the anime and movies, and while they’ve got some cool ideas and an addictive vibe (let’s not lie, the ikemen character designs are a big win 💅🏻), there were a lot of things that annoyed me. Aside from the over-the-top fanservice, the storytelling felt frustrating—like they kept teasing past events or relationships between characters but only giving crumbs. Every new episode or movie felt like it was just about to answer some questions, but nope, just more crumbs and even more frustration to not fully understand everything.
Then I started reading the light novels and manga, and honestly, the deeper I go, the sadder I feel when I think back to the anime and movies. I feel like I’ll need to rewatch them once I finish all the side material because so many tragic or impactful moments were just… kind of wasted? They didn’t hit me emotionally because I barely knew the characters at the time.
!Like, Mikoto’s death in the anime? I was literally just: ‘😐 Okay, cool, we saw him for what, 20 minutes total?’ And don’t get me started on Yata/Fushimi’s friendship, Fushimi’s complexity, Totsuka’s death, Kusanagi surviving Totsuka and Mikoto, and so on. All these moments could have been so heartbreaking regarding what we learn in other media. I guess the anime was kind of an ad for the side materials, but yeah, I want to rewatch everything now!<
Also, special shoutout to the fact that they made an otome game for the franchise. The game is hilarious and it’s exactly the kind of adaptation I wish other series would get—it’s just so fun.
Anyway, I still have a ton of content left to go through before I’m fully caught up, but I’m excited to finally have all the pieces of the puzzle starting to come together!
Also, I started to dive into recently but I’m glad that the fandom didn’t die and that some people are still really invested to give us translations 🥹
It's a very contentious spot for me because I have like 5 songs that I love but I know that I also haven't actually been able to find basically any ost for the movie/movies and for the 2nd season of the anime. Overall I think I'll choose K's theme but honestly, it kinda depends on how I'm feeling when I choose to listen to the music because I also love Knock-on Effect, If You Die, Kindling, Suoh Mikotos theme, and K vs K. What about you guys? Are any of you able to overcome indecision to choose a true favorite?
ive been wanting to get a tattoo buttttt does anyone know where is Mikoto's Insignia at? ive been finding but cant seem to get an answer 😭 i would like to get it at the same location as Mikoto 🫣 help pls
Everything I’ve googled seems to suggest it’s on crunchy or prime dubbed but I have both services and it’s not. Everything I see mentioning the dub is from several years ago so my guess is that it’s been removed from those platforms over the years. Any help finding it would be greatly appreciated!
Where are these studios today? Have they made any other projects? I really think K is a beautiful anime, and would love to see how they animate in the modern animation world today.
I ask because of what limited information is listed on places like MAL, I'm 99% certain at least one role is straight-up incorrect. Sukuna Gojo is listed as having the same VA as in Return of Kings, but it sounds like a completely different person, and I'm pretty sure it's Erica Mendez specifically.
It seems like the answer is no, but I can't be completely sure. Both MAL and ANN list a few random English VAs throughout the movies, but I don't see them listed on said VAs' wikipedia pages, and I don't see a dub option on any of the sites I look at.
It's as the title says are they technically a type of gang of some kind? If so how exactly do they have their own place?
Hello, as someone who’s a MAJOR fan of this anime—I don’t understand why it isn’t as popular as it should be? In my opinion; It’s one of the best anime’s ever.
Is it because of the production company?
Today is the Green King and best boy's birthday 🥳 🎂, my bias and the reason I will stay in K hell for a while!!!
i cant find the last listed movie no matter how much i look. i also looked through this reddit to see any mention of the movie, didnt find any. does it actually exist?
I hand painted and sewed on the HOMRA tattoo on my jacket and it turned out great :) K project was one of the first anime i watched and I always thought the HOMRA symbol was super cool
I'm new here but I watched project K almost 6 years ago and also love Mikio Endo's music and listening to it constantly. I'm wondering if the fan base lf this title so small... And why...
I remember someone asking for a picture of all the swords awhile ago and this just came up on my Pinterest! Not sure how accurate they all are but have fun with them! (Also I wasn’t sure what to flag this so if I need to change it lmk)
I've been searching for those nuis for months, and they seem to be out of stock everywhere, Does anyone know what is the good site to get them? 🥹
I just happened to watch each anime one right after the other and the colors are almost identical are they written by the same artist or maybe the same animators the blues reds and purples and the stars I’m not really sure if they are connected it’s just a hunch
