My wife just bought a 2025 Kia Carnival. Unlike her previous vehicle, the cup holders are too large and my wife’s extra large Stanley hydro-flask does not fit well and wobbles back and forth. While the cup is very large (48oz), the neck is smaller than my 32oz cup.

Anybody find a cup holder insert that works well for this type of cup?

Hi there! I am considering whether it is worth it to get TPMS put in my winter tires for my Seltos. I am wondering about the "life" of them, as I know they do need replaced every once in a while. I feel like this may be a possibly very dumb question, but will the TPMS battery just continue dying in the months I am not using my winter tires and they sit in the garage? E.g., if they last 5 years but I only use them 3 months of the year, but while they sit in my garage they continue to die because they're activated or something, just not actively being used, I'm going to say that won't be worth it to me.

I don't really want to ask my dealership because again I feel like this might be obvious and dumb to ask, and I feel a little silly LOL.

I have a 2014 Kia Sorrento SX with Nav. Any recommendations how I can upgrade the screen to have android auto?

Any idea what's going on here? Is this just a manufacturing defects? It is the only part of the car with this issue.

My 2024 Sportage Hybrid SX-Prestige owners manual says there is a setting to turn OFF the auto door locking function when the vehicle is being operated. The screen under "Setup" only shows a setting where they auto lock by speed or shift. Am I missing something?

Having issues updating the navigation system on my 22 Kia stonic. The update is available, and I have downloaded the file to a 32gb usb with format exFAT and FAT32 but get the same Error “no supported files found”. I have tried to empty all folders to the main part of the usb, but with no success.

Recently purchased this car for my daughter. Then we realized the back door speakers aren't working. Anyone else had this issue or any advice on wat could be wrong? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

hi folks, college student here about to pull the trigger on a 2020 kia sportage with 54k on it. anyone have experience with this car and would be willing to share pros and cons? like I said, i’m a college student who works in his home city so it’s an hour drive once a week, plus minor driving around campus. I live in the northeast, so snow and ice is a regular concern in these months, especially on hills. my previous car was a 2009 scion xd that recently had the head gasket fail after a multitude of radiator/cooling system malfunctions which left it inoperable. never had any experience with cars outside of toyota lineups.

Is there a way to adjust the settings (ie climate, heated seats) when remote starting the vehicle? I’ve tried downloading the Kia Connect app but it’s saying vehicle not found. Please help! I haven’t been able to find any info on this.

I live in a rural area 140 miles from a dealer and have lost track of time and not had my Sedona anti-theft software done. My letter shows the date of December 1, 2024.

I can't get a Saturday appointment at any of the dealerships by then and am not sure what to do. Is there any extension given on those dates?

I got this bad boy about a month ago:) 2024 forte gt line with both the premium package and the sport package. For the money has to be the best premium value by far in an affordable sedan. Sun roof, Leatherette sport bucket seats that are both cooled and heated. Premium 8 speaker sound system. The Wireless charger is also a nice touch and there are air vents in the back seat which don't normally come with the forte. I gotta say I Love this car. It was a nice little birthday gift to my self😎

I own a 2020 Kia Soul, and recently one of my DRL (Daytime Running Lights) LED has burned out. I went to the dealership to get a quote for replacing it, and they told me it would cost over $1,000, which seems really steep just for a light replacement!

I wanted to ask if anyone here has had a similar issue with their Kia Soul or any other car with LED DRLs. Is this price typical for dealership services, or am I being overcharged?

Also, if you’ve dealt with this before, do you have any recommendations for alternative solutions? Should I look for third-party shops, or is it safe to try buying the part myself and finding a local mechanic to replace it? Any advice, tips, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Some context. About 6 months ago we had the rear suspension replaced for clunking in the rear suspension. A few months later the clunk came back. Scheduled another appointment to get it looked at, the dealer has had my car for almost two month now with zero feedback. I’ve called and no one returned my calls. Now, I was given a loaner which was a 24 telluride xline sx with 24 miles. It now has over 2000 miles on it. But still. This makes me want to trade the SUV in for a Chevy Tahoe. Frustrating

I thought charging labor on warranty services is illegal? Went to Ed Voyles to have them look at my BRAND NEW 2024 Kia Soul with 3600 miles I noticed something was off, maybe one of the belts slipped on one of the tires or I have a defective tire or suspension part or something. They wanted $200 just to look at it and they called it a dianostic fee. I was told it's $100 deductible for any warranty work from the dealer I bought it off of. What gives?

I've had this thing sknce June 2021. This is now the second time I've lost heat on the driver's side. Blend doors are stuck, again.

I was at the kia dealership to get my 24 carnival serviced and got a chance to see the exact trim level of 25 carnival. The changes I noticed are, they swapped all the USB ports with USB-C. My only complaint with 24 carnival was it doesn't have a single USB-C port. The rear seat entertainment screens seemed bigger and flatterer with clean buttons and again, USB-C. Are there any other noticable changes that have have made the life simpler with the older Kia's?

Saw a friend's new Kia Sportage today and was really surprised how small the boot space is. It is listed as 590 liters but oh boy was that thing tiny. Also no double floor because it has flat floor with some store under it but it's full of compartments that can't be taken out so you get a bit more height. Not sure how that thing was measured 590 but new Duster 4x2 with 517 liters has huge boot space in comparison. Just wanted to share if someone is deciding between the two.
