I assume I've done something wrong although I don't know what. I am trying to download this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/jurassicworldevolution2/mods/1621?tab=description (and all of their other mods after I figure out how to make this one work.)

I have the required mods, and the read me file just says to drag all the folders INSIDE the ZIP folder into "ovldata"

Inside the ZIP folder is a folder called LPOLargeTheros, I assume that is what I need to drag in to ovldata, because that folder is full of loose files, but I've put it in ovldata and the dinosaurs it is supposed to change look no different. Have I done something wrong, is the mod broken, or is it like the Sims 4 where I have to enable mods somewhere in the settings?

I really hate how in JWE2, even when a scavenger and a carnivore are friendly, the carnivore eats the scavenger instead of the goats. Whilst it’s realistic, it is also unrealistic and bad for gameplay. There’s no reason to hunt the more dangerous scavengers than the goats, and it sucks when a velicoraptor eats an expensive oviraptor.

Why would I not just stack herbivores in every single challenge mode park instead when carnivores need to go into individual exhibits?

Scavengers are like vultures. They clean the remaining meat predators leave behind, which is cool and realistic.

Also, it makes absolutely ZERO sense small carnivores killing sauropods or even hadrosaurs. You know how that encounter would go in real life? SPLOTCH, you got stepped on.

In the original JPOG, you could make a cool Jurassic exhibit with Dilophos, Brachios, and Camaras. In JWE2, diliphos kill the sauropods which makes no sense.

I want to be able to make an exhibit ecosystem with large herbivores, small carnivores, and scavengers, without them panicking or killing each other. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I know this is a lame question. I was curious if there was a GREAT step by step guide out there for every type of game mode. I'd like to unlock the skins, etc. That I'm still missing. Let's be honest. I'm kinda lazy at this point.

Could someone realistically share a file with completed choas theory and challenges so I can load it onto my ps5? I really just want all the options for sandbox mode. (I don't care about trophies)

I've had the game and DLC as it's come out, but time to play has dwindled significantly. I like to be able to just kick back and create a park with all options available to me for sandbox mode.

Please don't tear me down. I'm just hoping for a realistic option. I'm crossing my fingers on this. If anyone can help me out, I'd GREATLY APPRECIATE IT.

Probably a stupid question, but I noticed in Paleo.gg that the marine dinosaurs like mosasaurus "like" land based animals like oviraptor. How are they able to interact? Am I missing something where I don't need a lagoon?

Hello, first time posting here, and you probably get these posts a lot, but, I did my research, and I still have a couple of questions about JW evo 2 (PS5, no mods, I don't want to play it on PC).

I was a big fan of Operation Genesis on PS2, like, it's by far, to this day, my favorite park management game, and sometimes, I still boot up my PS2 to play it.

I know the Campaign on evo 2 is not good, which I'm ok with, since I also didn't play the solo mode of OG to completion, I only played sandbox mode.

Here are my questions regarding this:

- Can sandbox mode be played as an actual challenge? Like, I'm not a fan of making the park look nice as a priority, I want it to function, and I see a ton of footage online of parks that look great, but, I don't know if sandbox mode is supposed to be "build your dream park" or "play Jurassic Park management sim" (which is what I want, I want to manage a park).

- Do dino's become aggressive and break out regularly? I've seen they do break out, but, let me be more specific... is there a way to permanently make the park 100% safe? Making the park 100% safe, kinda breaks the flow of the game for me.

- Are there natural disasters? That severely damage the park? (it's a plus for me).

Basically, if sandbox mode is a management sim, or a park construction sim. OG was more on the management side, for me at least, and I love that it keeps hitting me back with a challenge.

Just some extra questions - can you personally pilot the helicopter and tranquilize/shoot the dinos? I know you can drive the jeep and the helicopter.

Overall, if you played OG, what's your opinion of Evo2?

To close it off, sorry for making another post like this, I'm sure you get a ton of them, but, I really researched most of the stuff, these are the few bits I didn't understood.

So im in the middle of making a big retrospective review on JWE2s development and i have finally reached the DLC section. I am curious what people thought of the hybrid dlc, given that I think its fair to call it rather controversial.

Do folks consider it primarily a cash grab? Or is it defenable given the model change to the ankylodocus and the new animal?

This was something I thought would be cool for JWE2 before I even had a VR set. My amazing wife just gifted me a PSVR2 for my birthday and it is such an incredible gaming experience.

I’m not suggesting the whole park building system has to be in VR but I would love to actually tour the park in VR. I’ve been playing the Horizon Zero Dawn VR game that came with the set. HZD was an amazing series and the robotic dinosaurs were extremely cool. However, experiencing those creatures in VR was an absolute amazing experience. Watching the Tallneck (basically a robot sauropod) was like seeing it for the first time all over again. It made you realize just how huge these creatures are.

I absolutely want that VR experience for my park now. I want to walk around, take a river tour and a safari tour and just look around. If you have an opportunity to try out the PSVR2, do it! I had no idea what a different gaming experience it is.

Yes! With gene mods and careful planning, you can comfortably fit every species on even the smallest maps, like Arizona, while keeping all their needs met and maintaining a functional park. It’s definitely doable!

I’m a little bummed that JWE2 is completely done, but I’m really looking forward to JWE3! What are you all hoping to see in the next game?

Has anyone used the DLSS Enabler mod for their game? I am interested in trying it out, but I’m very much a novice at this kind of thing and was curious if anyone had any luck with the mod before I installed it myself.

For reference, I’m on a Nvidia 3060 RTX. I get pretty decent FPS when I limit my monitor to 80hz (with vysnc) and when using DLSS on medium-to-high settings, but I still have occasional stuttering and lag, especially when I have 20+ dinosaurs and guests in the park. I’m hoping this mod might make for a more visually consistent, smoother experience.

I have a ceratosaurus egg with both intelligent and docile trait. I have no clue How these two mix and I don't have the money to find out. I hope that they cancel out so it wouldnt be breaking out all the time. any info on how this does work would be greatly appreciated
