used to have it modded but i haven't found the specific mod im looking for yet

it was this huge mod that completely revives the game into modern era and I think it addressed the crashing issue too iirc

anyone got a fix?

I currently got two version of JPOG from mod sites and abandonware, but both of those have problems that annoy me.

The stretched aspect ration of 4:3 to 16:9 messes up the mouse really really bad and also the graphics are very stretched, sadly i cannot seem to get my Xbox controller to run with it which would make both of these not so bad.

Does anybody have a version that fixxes that?

im also on a 1440p display but i do not know if that plays a role with that, i also did setup the resolution in the Option file.

Where can I play Jurassic Park Operation Genesis currently? I have never played it but I have seen people like TheGamingBeaver play it on his channel. I would love to have the experience of playing this game.

I have tried multiple times to stop them from killing each other but i always fail to do so, i am fairly new to the game i dont really know much about how the ai work in game, i tried spamming cows and paleo trees but nothing seems to work, they just murder each other every time completely ignoring the cows i've also made their enclosure bigger and other thingamajigs. Help..

It's causing some issues like not being able to move the helicopter, it's weird because it seemed to work perfectly fine a while ago, I tried limiting the fps in Nvidia control panel and gpu tweaks 3 and also tried turning off gpu tweaks 3 and just using Nvidia like I saw someone suggest but it still gets up to 1800 fps

I play JPOG on pc for the first time, i cant use any key except arrow key,F1-F12 key even i has change control setting any help?

Not intrested in modding, but i do want the textures of the buildings like the kiosk and restroom for something else im working on. Is there a way to view the textures in the files since I cant get any good reference photos in-game?

From my experience with continuous crashing, dinosaurs making sounds that break the sound barrier and still playing even after closing the game (only happened once) and messing with the game files, the game suddenly started "behaving" after months of not playing with very very rare crashes and barely any minor glitches. No emulator, just the game sitting on my computer. Has anyone else been blessed like me?

Hey, all! I have two questions:

1. The Music. It's not working. I even went in and downloaded all the OGG files for it but it's just not working, I can't even open up the Music folder without the file manager crashing, it's weird. Is there any way to fix this?

2. The mouse-scroll is insanely slow, it's annoying to use the mouse to zoom in/out and to rotate. Is there anyway to increase the speed? Setting the mouse sensitivity to Max in the settings does nothing.

I've never played this game on PC, only PS2 so I really wanna get into it again since my disc is beyond screwed on console.

Ok, so I modified the fossil hunt sites with a single modded creature added to each dig sight. Before I did this I played before hand and could open the hatchery just fine, but afterwards every time I go to open it it crashes my game. Any way to fix this?

I increased the tree bubble to 1500 because bestinslot said you can do it under 5000. Everytime i have an island full of trees and add a few extra ones in more empty places some big chunks of trees dissapear. I looked at other mods and see how they do it but no results. Any help?

There is code for the console version of the game in the file, like in the weather.ini (for how the shadows change in different weather i think), but i was wondering if i can find the full code for the shadows and water ripples.

in units i found a camera file but it doesnt have the units allowed thing inside it. Do i need to add it manually or do i have to search for another file?

Will the game crash or actually look better?

Tbh it would be really awesome to see a mod with working shadows, actual day/night cycles, cut buildings, water ripples and more.

its really such a shame to let such a nostalgic game become more broken and broken as the years pass. So far i have minor bugs, but the biggest bug is the random crashing.

I've already tried the Nvidia FPS limit option but it doesn't work as consistently as I'd hoped, is there another solution or am I missing a step?

Honestly I doubt I’ll find it but there’s a JPOG play through series I remember fondly from my childhood the one major problem is I don’t know the channel name nor can I find any of the videos. The only parts I remember is it being a longer play through series and the intro had this cool montage of dinosaurs fighting with the good life by three days grace playing in the background. I’ve been scrolling YouTube for about 3-4hrs now so I’m starting to suspect either the videos were taken down for copyright or the creator deleted his channel and his videos

Hey guys, so I downloaded JPOG on PC for Windows 11. I go through all the instructions but can’t seem to get it to work. I get the “renter disk” error.

Is there a way to run JPOG on Windows 11? Any fees back and instructions on how to would be greatly appreciated
