Hello everyone,
I am seeking your advice on some highly credible international conferences and journals where I can publish my research paper focused on optimizing the energy system of an entire country, with a particular emphasis on the implementation of renewable energy sources. Additionally, I prefer conferences with registration fees not exceeding 500 EUR.
If you have any suggestions or experiences in this area, I would greatly appreciate your assistance!
Thank you in advance!
My blood pressures been z213/150 and up. They just gave me adavan, , I snorted a perc , and took like 4 blood pressure meds. It’s not touching it for some reason. I think it’s because they gave me 2 units of blood after dialysis which made me wayyyy fluid overloaded and now I have more blood in my system than my body’s used to. My hemoglobin is 9.2 so that’s good. But I have a hard time breathing bc of the overload. I don’t understand why they gave it to me after dialysis instead of during. Now I need dialysis again. I’m really trying to believe this is all for a reason though. Maybe it will all make sense. It’s divine timing. It’s all going to work out the way it has to. Everything will be fine. Everything will be good. Things are going to fall into place. They are falling into place now as we speak. Even if I don’t see it the universe knows what it’s doing and has a plan for me. It’s all the way it should be.
So I love watching those tik toks that junk journal al but I’ve always wondered how they are able to film from their pov. It can’t be a tripod because it looks like they have a camera strapped to their face or something. Does anyone know how they do this?
Hey guys!
I'm going to be a first year resident and I was hoping to get resources on how to best present a journal club.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!
I’m new to this lol what do ppl do here?

I am trying to get a copy of this article through our library. ER stress is being considered as a contribution to Diabetes. We know the pancreases is stress in hyperglycemia states. It is interesting to see if ER is the stress mechanism.

Please use this thread to nominate Physics & Engineering articles for next week's journal club. The article with the highest karma at the end of the week will be selected for discussion.
Please provide the article title and a link to the abstract.
If the article is behind a paywall, we will do our best to retrieve it, however this may not always be possible.
We've been running the subreddit with the new format for some time now, and I think now is as fine a time as any to discuss how it's working out.
Briefly: we post a recurring broad scientific subject for article nominations every weekday. That same day, we post a thread for discussing the previous week's nominated article or else a "General discussion thread" if no articles were nominated.
To date we've had relatively few articles submitted. Even more concerning to me is the lack of discussion when we do have an article nominated. Often even the nominating user doesn't return to the discussion thread to add their comments.
I think there is some value inherent in keeping a forum available for article discussions. I hesitate to reduce the frequency of nomination threads, as aged posts on reddit are effectively invisible. In addition, /r/Journal_Club should distinguish itself from other subreddits which are simply dedicated to posting interesting papers. Let's talk about ways to make that happen.

Nanoparticles can be used in biomedical applications, where they facilitate laboratory diagnostics, or in medical drug targeting. They are used for in vivo applications such as contrast agent for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), for tumor therapy or cardiovascular disease. Very promising nanoparticles for these applications are superparamagnetic nanoparticles based on a core consisting of iron oxides (SPION) that can be targeted through external magnets. SPION are coated with biocompatible materials and can be functionalized with drugs, proteins or plasmids. In this review, the characteristics and applications of SPION in the biomedical sector are introduced and discussed.
