My favorite Halloween themed song is "A Haunted House," although that might be because I listened to "Guillotine" one too many times. Funny enough, "Halloween" is my least favorite Halloween themed song of his. Dark horse, a song Bellion ghostwrote: "Graveyard." Though Halsey is singing this song, I think it is almost the perfect pop song. "Crop Circles" is also fun and thematic, but, I'd argue that "Guillotine" edges it as a dancy, groovy spin on Halloween. Please check out my video! It's a labor of love! Video: Jon Bellion | Ghostwriter or Mad Scientist?
When I’m in the mood for just Jon bellion I usually just put on let’s begin from gsp, what about y’all??
I hope so 🤞🤞🤞
Does anyone else feel the same way? I listen to both of these artists and they often talk about sex in their songs and how the experience feels like to them.
For The Weeknd , it's almost like some haunted experience , of betrayal , lust and dark tendencies. He makes it sound scary and consuming , and sometimes like it's the only escape. And he obviously he sings about it like a playboy , no wonder his fanbase is incredibly thirsty lol. After all this is the guy who wrote " All of them swallow I make all of em swallow" x10
While Jon (atleast the music I've listened to) describes it like a Divine experience , something special , focuses so much on trust and respect and playfulness. It's completely different , he makes it sound incredibly hopeful and vulnerable too.
While I prefer Jon's take , both of them are unique in their own way and you don't really see many artists explore it like this in their music , it's always less intimate with other artists.
^(I'm not sure if sale posts are allowed but i've recently become in need of some spare cash and unfortunately have to part with my copy of the definition on vinyl :()
I'm based in Ireland but can ship globally! I'm open to reasonable offers and I have good reviews on other selling apps I can forward if necessary!
Intus Sto Solus
I think it’s Trumpets. If Jon sang it, it would’ve sounded like a song straight off The Separation.
Hey! If yall like Jon, I feel like yall will really like Latin Mafia. Their newest album is out now but their less recent stuff is amazing too!
In Wutup Snow? Jon says “She's so Andre to me, she's 3000 degrees How cold is that? how cold is that? (I think that she's ice cold then, right?)”
I may be painfully mistaken but 3000 is incredibly hot, not ice cold. I’m confused
I watched the Cove City show live many moons ago and I still remember hearing the prior version of "I feel it" and I really want to listen to it again. I got a full cut of the live show, but I'm still looking for the after party when he actually played "I feel it". Anyone got leads? Thanks ❤️
Anyone remember the legit baby with earplugs at the concert in San Diego in 2016? Happy to report she is almost 9 now, a badass cancer beating machine and you bet your ass she will be at the next Jon concert 🥰
Can't stop listening
Hello !! I’ve had this idea of just having the text “Maybe IDK.. but maybe that’s ok” tatted on me somewhere but I’m not too sure on the font. Or if I want “idk” or “I don’t know”. Would any of you artsy Bellion fans help me out here it would be much appreciated! Feel free to add a little of your own style and everything !
Thanks !
I always see posts like “what’s the deepest Bellion lyric” or “what’s the best Bellion lyric” but I want to know what everyone’s favorite one off lines are.
Mine is “Me and my people linkin' in the park like crawling” from Pre-Occupied or “She hungry for the Action, in New York we call that Bronson” from Superman the Gift and the Curse.
I tried to make a playlist of every full Jon Bellion song (and features) he's ever officially released. Am I missing anything? I sideloaded a bunch of stuff as well, so it's not limited to stuff on streaming
Also, what does singing grass sound like?
I want to get a tattoo like people have shown before of the beautiful mind text, like what he has on his merch for the human condition (image attached) but I can’t find an image of just the text for someone to be able to use as a stencil, does anyone have an image of just the text? Would be greatly appreciated
One of my favorite, older songs of the legend himself. Thanks to anyone who checks it out :)
I've been tracking this for a while now, and Kid Again has finally gotten more Spotify plays than A Dedicated Instrumental. I was hoping too see it move up quicker, but 2.85 mil thus far is pretty good after such a big break. A Dedicated Instrumental has 2.65 mil plays. Next up is Young Gun (2.95 mil)!
Please note I'm deciding to ignore all the variants of Obsession because there's too many to bother with. But, it has passed 3 or 4 of them.
I'm not sure if this belongs here, but the last year and a half has been rough for me. Yes, I got clean from alcohol, but I lost my dream job and a lot of things have not gone very well in my life. As I come up on the two-year mark of sobriety, I wanted to throw out that Jon's music has had a tremendously positive impact on my journey. I'm not going to go down the list and point to every lyric that connected with me because we'd be here all day, but I think hand of God is legitimately one of the greatest pieces of music ever created, and I played it when I hit my mark last December. "Tears at a funeral, tears at a funeral, I might break Angry at all the things, angry at all the things I can't change."
These lyrics really connect with me on an emotional level. When you're left in a path of self-destruction, you lament so many things you wish you could change. I'm so glad that he's making music again and that I've come across people who share a similar love for the art he creates.
