Seriously, Compared to all the other cities i find people from Joburg to be the best!! what is your opinion?

I don't mean the fun company ones with white tile flooring and the whole "futurist theme". More in line with the older, darker, acid carpet vibe arcades.

Every arcade I go to it just seems to be so modern, and the games are also not the greatest.

I've been to cracker Zac which isn't really what I'm looking for, that's more of a bar than an arcade but still aesthetically pleasing .

Any recommendations would be appreciated

As per the question, if I have the account number of an owner's municipal account is there any reason why a payment won't reflect on the account if it comes from me.

The reason is that I am renting and fully complying with payments ITO my lease agreement but my landlord for the second month in a row has paid the municipality late and we have had services terminated.

I warned them that if it happens again I will be paying my rental directly into the municipal account.

Not looking for comments on legalities of the above or comments on breach of the lease agreement because its a 'friendly' lease, but just want to ensure that the rental will actually reflect on their municipal account.

Over the past year I've notice a significant increase in cost of living in Jozi. Restaurants seem to be up by a minimum of R40. And when I compare the price of housing in Jozi from 10 years ago, Properties have become unaffordable. What rise in cost has impacted you the most is another city cheaper?

It is our sons 18th birthday next week and we were thinking of going for cocktails and then a really nice dinner (we are foodies) at perhaps an awesome hotel. Maybe cocktails at the pool

Does anyone have any recommendations for clothing shops or shopping areas that carry items that aren’t just collared shirts, t-shirts, shorts, jeans and chinos?

I’m looking for fashion that’s experimental and progressive, bold and unconventional. I want drape, structure, flow and material varieties. It’s so frustrating walking through every mall nowadays and all the shops just sell different colours, patterns and cuts of what is essentially just a t-shirt! The variations are so marginal and uninspiring, it’s sad to see the state of mens fashion.

Any advice for shopping differently is also welcome!

We are flying from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg, then onto the UK.

We booked the flights separately and we read online that sometimes you can get your checked baggage sent all the way through with no need to collect at Johannesburg.

Hey guys

I need help applying for my learner's test. The first attempt didn't go so well because I missed a few steps. I had all the required documents like my ID, photos, and money, but was turned back due to missing an important blue document. Most people there had it except for 3 of us.

Here's the confusing part though. We were supposed to collect the document a few days prior after paying the booking fee online, but the Natis website didn't have an option to make an online payment neither did the booking confirmation PDF mention anything about paying beforehand. It specifically said "pay at DLTC".

Can someone please clarify the process and recommend the best place to get a learner's test? I'd really appreciate it!!
