Welcome, to the subreddit dedicated to one of hip-hop's most promising young east coast talents, Joey Bada$$. A co-founder of the hip-hop collective Pro Era, Joey has released two acclaimed mixtapes and a debut album before exiting his teens.
He is currently taking more of a leadership role via Pro Era, Beast Coast, and his own label "Badmind" in advance of his next album drop.

Im from the Netherlands and I would like to know some good places to try to buy it, like websites etc or physical stores.
I just got a record player so i was wondering. Can i still buy a non bootleg 1999 vinyl somewhere for like under 60 euros?
Not sure if being intoxicated dilutes anything but this song slaps!
I said this, was pretty obvious but fair enough to him.
Idk if I’ve seen other people point this out but figured I could share it Joey already said too much west coast dick licking before in a song, he said it in talking shit from AmeriKKKan Korruption with capital steez
I was just going through the catalog for steez appreciating his music and I heard the line. Side note infinity and beyond from capital steez is one of the saddest songs in rap knowing what we know😔
Can anyone name any of the people with Joey in the video? I recognized Kwon Swank & CJ Fly but I wasn’t sure about anyone else.
Any knowledgeable Joey or Pro heads who can name some more cats in the video?
I think if Joey goes bar for bar with someone (daylyt for example) it would be great promotion for him to show he still got it, then drop his album right after while he still being talked about. I also remember him saying the album was 95% done a few months ago, so maybe he’s doing exactly that. So Imo I think the album will still be as planned as the vibe album with cool love cuts and similar topics (cuts like Show me, Love is only a feeling, fallin) but more grand and with instrumentals like in this video.
I love Joeys R&B sound and I thought he was prepared to drop and r&b album. Anyway if you are a fan of R&B music please join r/RNB_Production
I need help on clarification of Jakk’s membership from the knowledgeable Pro heads please! I know him & Steez had the 3rd Kind group that split before Pro Era formed but it doesn’t seem like he was really apart of the Pros beginning years in 2011 & 2012 (correct me if I’m wrong) being as he’s not really apart of the first wave of projects, PEEP or that time period. Then it seems like he becomes a member in 2014 as he appears on two tracks on The Shift EP.
So I guess my question is did Jakk turn down membership in Pro Era initially and then join the group after Steez’s passing? (maybe in tribute to him or to help carry on his memory or whatever reason) Does anyone have any insight or clarification on this for me?
Is there anybody out there who has and is willing to sell the flag from of the free music video

Love Joey but I really hope Daylyt puts him in that mode for real this time, no subtle lines, I don’t want him to hold back.
I've been seeing a lot of discussion about how some fans want Joey to get more aggressive or even just switch things up and stop being so braggadocious in these recent tracks.
My mind was going a bit elsewhere. Joey used to rap a lot about politics, often saying things like "F*ck the cops", politicians, white amerikka, etc. To me, it gave more of a purpose and identity to his music - especially with NY being a historic center of corruption.
It feels like all of that culminated in all amerikkkan bada$$, and now that struggle is absent in his music. Like he has grown up, gotten wealthy, and perhaps even doesn't relate to it anymore.
I feel like the iron is hot for this kind of lyrical content. Surivor's Guilt is probably his most recent track that touches on more sensitive topics (e.g mental health) - and to great effect. I want more. What about you?
Was it a sample clearance thing or something else?
I've been a fan since back when I couldn't afford the Eyes Pro Era hoodies way back. I've always really wanted one though. Does Joey still own PE? They still got merch up and I'd get a hoodie if he still does.
I was fixing errors in the lyrics and I see like 3 edits made at the same time as me lol.
Sorry not sorry
