Im not a fan of streaming services, but I have heard ESPN+ is worth it as it shows all preseason tournament games, in season, and conference tournament games not only for KU but all Big 12.
Do you subscribe, and is it worth getting before the $1 a month price increase?

How did it go? Were you able to get close to your same seats as previous years?
At that point, season is a wash. Time to focus on the future. If we keep losing with Ballard, then we keep losing. If we improve, then we start 2025 with optimism and it will help with recruiting. Honestly, this would be a no brainer. Any coach would do this.
Did anyone go to the home game last year again Houston? I know the seating changes impact things this year but tying to ballpark how much tickets may be this year with knowing last years
Does anyone have any experience with the season parking passes? At parking.ku.edu I was able to find event parking as $35/game, but it doesn’t give much detail. Are spots in the garage the same as lots 90 or 93?
With the select-a-seat opening today, has anyone seen what the season prices look like for this year?
Daniels is hands down the worst QB in the conference. If we have someone on bench who is only arguably the worst QB we’re bowling.
Not a good look here from Leipold. Especially since our starting QB had a QBR of 36.5 (not a typo). He previously blamed the O-Line, which if you were watching game, Neal and Hishaw ran for 155 yard and two scores while averaging over 5 yards a carry (a miracle given the poor QB play). Lastly, the offense made zero adjustments in the 2nd half. Woof…
I expected to watch JD6 and be amazed and miss how he used to be. Honestly what I saw was incredibly similar to yesterday. Underthrows, missing wide open receivers, turnovers. It wasn’t until the 4th that he really looked anything other than bad.
Im now wondering if Jason Bean played last year because Jason Bean is better and if JD6 was injured at all.
Well. I’m in shock over this game.
I don’t think the offense was completely to blame for this one, because while they stalled from Grimes’ play calling again on key drives (a 3 and out that went draw, speed option, check down in the fourth quarter). The DBs were atrocious.
Yes, OJ and Mello both had picks, but at the end of the day they couldn’t stop TCU’s receivers and looked like little kids playing in a bounce house when trying to make a tackle.
I won’t talk about the punt return, because I’ll just blame the refs. Wasn’t happy with them, especially after the no-call on Skinner and the LJ “drop” (I now believe Dez caught it, shoutout JK).
But speaking of LJ, c’mon man. You got bricks for hands? Were you not the leading pass catcher last year? Top 10 in almost every receiving category for KU but JD is to blame? Must’ve hit him in a bad spot, I think it was his hands…
i HAVE to put attention on the announcers today because they started talking about Kotelnicki leaving. I wonder who got a lot of crap on this reddit over saying that after one game. Because this team CANNOT move the ball in the fourth quarter with Grimes calling the plays.
One moment specifically, OJ returns his pick to the 6. What does Grimes call? A run with Hishaw then two passes. 3 plays, 0 yards, and a field goal when starting within the opponents 10 yard line. Not Good.
I still have hope for this team, a blind hope that they’ll find a way to turn it around. Because today was another step in the right direction. It reminds me a lot of Leipolds first year, especially towards the end of that season. The team plays a solid 2.5-3 quarters and just run out of juice in the 4th.
I miss Kotelnicki.
I know Liepold won’t have the balls to do it until we are at loss 7, but a bowl game is probably less than a 1% chance after losses to two of the worst big 12 teams in back to back weeks.
We can’t keep doing the same thing each week and expecting different results. And in this era of college football, in the process of building a $400 million stadium that will need donor and student support to not bankrupt the university…the stakes couldn’t be higher.
Daniels has put up one of the worst 5 game starts of all time. There have been no signs of improvement. He has always been a one-read QB and now doesn’t have the OC to scheme guys open. He is also either injured or has lost all confidence in himself. Either way, it’s time for him to sit and get to work on getting healthy physically and mentally to compete for a starting spot next year.
The decision making at the end of the halves falls 100% on coaching, but that’s not going to change this year.
The only way to change trajectory at this point is a change at QB.
Despite the incomptent Refs, the game was still winnable.
Grimes called a great first half, the other team made adjustments and he just continued to call the same shit.
And with the 2 best corners in the league we somehow couldn't stop their passing game.
And Daniels played not great, but much better (IMO).
There is still a sliver of hope, but something has to change for sure.

It’s time to find out what other quarterbacks are on the team. So tired of the same thing.
Motion that draws the defense closer to the play and a play action when it’s 3rd and 15.
Add to that an obvious pass interference that didn’t get called in end zone and a clear fumble returned for TD that got called back and we’re lucky to be in this game.
I woke up this morning with a faint hope that Daniels would play better and KU would win today. I know it is unhealthy to have even a shred of hope because I am setting myself up for major stress and disappointment. Please crush every ounce of it before the game starts. Also remind me not to get my hopes up if we take a lead or keep it close in the 4th quarter.

Got a question. Where do you normally buy KU basketball tickets online? So many websites out there with different prices and plan to fly back for a game this year and haven’t gone since being a student in 2012.
I’m also confused some are saying big12 games are not for sale yet but they are all listed on seatgeek, Ticketmaster, tickets forless type places but all insanely high price like $300
Those who don’t have a parking pass (or don’t want to pay an absurd amount for parking), where will you guys be parking my for the game on Saturday? Any place nearby where we can walk from?
Before anyone comes @ me, broke college student here 😂 so pls. I can’t pay for a pass.
anybody have extra late night tickets we missed the deadline to get them and are willing to buy
They’re painting a Jayhawk on the field at Arrowhead Stadium.
University of Kansas Athletics said it plans to be there Friday to prepare the press box for Saturday’s football game against TCU.
KU head coach Lance Leipold is looking forward to playing at the home of the Chiefs.
“Hopefully, (fans) show up, are energetic and can help us when we need them,” Leipold said.
Here’s the rub: KU and the Chiefs have yet to sign a contract allowing the Jayhawks to play at Arrowhead.
“It’s complex,” KU Athletics spokesperson Daniel Berk said.
Berk wouldn’t go into detail about what those complexities are, except to say insurance coverage is one of them.
KU announced on Jan. 30 that it would play its home football games in Kansas City while rebuilding Memorial Stadium in Lawrence for $450 million. The first two were at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas. The rest will be played at Arrowhead.
The day after KU announced the games away from the home field, KCUR filed a Kansas Open Records Request for the contracts.
Before the Jayhawks opened the season against Lindenwood University in August, KU provided the contract with Sporting KC for use if its park.
But week after week in response to follow-up questions, KU kept sending emails from the Custodian of Public Records saying it had “no determinative response to offer you at this time” concerning the Arrowhead contract. Every email ended the same, “Thank you for your attention and patience.”
Then Wednesday, KU sent an email saying “the University of Kansas does not have a final executed agreement” for the games at Arrowhead. It promised to provide the contract as soon as it was signed and reviewed by the university’s lawyers.
Berk said not to worry.
“It’s been six months of complex communications, but we fully expect to have an agreement,” he told KCUR.
However complex the contract with the Chiefs might be, the one with Sporting is brief and simple. The “Letter of Agreement” is only four pages long. KU paid Sporting $100,000 in rent and another $150,000 for game day operations, according to the deal obtained through the open records request.
Sporting KC retained all parking and concession revenue and got 20% of KU merchandise revenue sold at the park. KU was also obligated to reimburse Sporting for “reasonable” and “documented” expenses to repair any damage to the field.
The Chiefs did not return an email seeking comment.
