Discuss the latest in Japanese fashion or seek advice. Brand and seasonal discussions, opinions, and specific questions always welcome.
“I think perfection is ugly. Somewhere in the things humans make, I want to see scars, failure, disorder, distortion.” - Yohji Yamamoto
We welcome all discussions regarding brands, seasons, pick-ups, opinions, and specific questions related to Japanese fashion. Discussion threads and posts about labels are highly encouraged.
Please google or search for answers to very generalized questions before you post them! We really want this sub to be a place to discuss clothes, NOT just a place to answer questions. Trust me, if you look, you'll find answers to nearly everything you want. Otherwise, try a sub like r/streetwear, they have a much more active userbase.

im a size 9 but got a size 10 (just got gifted) really wanna keep it tho, should i get insoles? heel pads? toe plugs?
Saw this on instagram, what do yall know about the brand golem?
Is there another place to cop these jeans ?
I don't mind paying and I know that certain jeans will keep their value, but in my opinion these jeans aren't worth over 400. If there's another place to cop from I would but Grailed is convenient and has mostly everything I need.
Hey guys,
I already read a lot of posts but I'm still unsure about sizing for the Homme Plisse Straight Pants. I'm about 1,80cm (5ft 11) with long legs and I don't like my pants cropped so length wise size 3 is the way to go.
I'm rather skinny (75cm/29,5 inches waist) and scared that Size 3 is too wide and will fall down. The version of the pants I want to buy (not many offers in my country) doesn't have belt loops or drawstrings.
What do you think? Thank you so much!
I was thinking about getting a pair of their Elvis Punk boots and I've heard someone describe them as "roomy". I was wondering if anyone here who already has a pair would recommend that I get a size smaller than my usual or not.
i going these miharas in a size 11.5 US and i was wondering if that was gonna be too big. i usually wear 10.5 in other shoes. please help🙏
a great addition to a fall outfit 🍂
Hey everyone, hope you're doing well. I'll be traveling to Osaka -> Kyoto -> Tokyo from late december to late january. I know streetwear is big in Japan along with the vintage and hype wear clothing access.
But I really want to know some japan exclusive brands that have good quality pieces with uniqe artwork or even minimalist. I've been following derschutze I iike their stitch work and qualitiy you guys can use that as a refrence of what I'm talking about.
So if ayone know anyone has any suggestion that would be appreciated!
Masato-san also works under The Sun in Japan as opposed to Masato @ Cotton Sheep in the USA.
After currency conversion, most of his pieces are cheaper if you order them straight from Japan.
Hi there everyone! Happy late thanksgiving!
I have a quick question! Recently i fell in love with suka style jackets while in japan. But of course they are a little too small. Does anyone know any companies that fit american sizes ? preferably online!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Any recommendations for any high platform or chunky loafers for women from Japanese brands? I’m looking to buy my girlfriend a pair that she’s been wanting for a while.
I live in Japan so buying more niche brands won’t be a problem.

Hello, this is my first post.
While scrolling through Pinterest, looking for ideas for Japanese Americana, I saw this fit. What caught my eye was his shirt. Are there any recommendations for a boxy/oversized short sleeve button up?
Idk if it’ll help, but I have a relatively wide upper-body and wear size large.
