Last time I painted a jacket and sealed it it went to shit and got all tacky so I can't wear it outside so hopefully that doesn't happen again because I'll cry lmao
Punk parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, babysitters. I made these patches to celebrate the chaos that is being a caregiver to a kid, based on the famous Filth logo. 100% of sales is going to Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund. $8 shipped in the U.S. DM if you would like one.
Kinda wonder how my thoughts on this compare to others
Have to start applying patches and pins to the front and sides of the back piece, but I finally started my first jacket :D
I've made a lot of t-shirts into large back patches and really want to display them, but I only have a couple jackets I could make into battle jackets and don't really want to buy more because well.... there's only so many jackets one can use haha
so! do y'all have any ideas for other places to put large patches? preferably in highly visible ways!
My intro to 'alternative' music was more through the punk scene but I mostly listen to metal now and go to metal gigs. In the punk scene people tend to just add patches of bands that they like, and have not necessarily seen live. However, someone I know thought that it was a bit weird that I have metal patches for bands I havent seen and have only listened to. I always thought it was fine because there are some bands that are no longer together or touring that are very famous, but at a gig recently someone else I know said that there seemed to be some very "seasoned" people there because they had a lot of patches. Maybe opinions differ, I just wanted to get a general consensus of the metal community.
