Hey fellow JERBS, I know most of us are still around, and we have more or less be assimilated into RDTV on the Battlefield. Some have not made the jump to PS4, I still play bf4 and trials fusion, I also have killzone and assassins creed, but May 6th MLB The Show comes out, I am not sure if any others are going to be getting it, but if you do let's get together and do a home run derby.

I hope there are other Top Gear fans here, because I have some ideas for a few Top Gear style challenges. if not familiar with Top gear.Click here, like car vs dirt bike/Quad bike races, tractor races, and maybe a plane vs heli vs car vs boat? also maybe we do a triathlon style event, drive car to point A fly plane to point B drive boat to point C?

A few weeks ago, /u/Cryptic-Panther asked me to do a little work on the CSS for the subreddit and added me as a mod. I'll be here mainly for cosmetics and usability mod duties.

##Schedule

I'll begin work within a day or two and hope to be finished within two weeks. I'll be working on my own subreddit, /r/gtaVOIP, simultaneously and may share CSS between the two to speed the process a bit.

Instead of making the discussion mods-only, I'd really like to involve everyone. You can use this post throughout these two weeks to give your input and discuss anything related to the visual changes that are happening.

##Logo and Alien

First off, we don't have a logo or a custom Snoo. Do we have any ideas for a logo? A year ago /u/clemoh threw together a logo which I like but would need to modify a bit to use on the header. I can also just make a badass text-only "JERB" logo with a caption or something.

I have no idea where to begin for this so any help would be appreciated.

##Theme

As far as the design goes, I'll make it simple and easy to use. There isn't a ton of content on the sub right now so less is more when it comes to design. If you like something from another subreddit, let me know and I'll check it out!

##Color Palette

The colors used at the moment are #047391, #00A0C6, #D4792F, #E6B119, and #FBF2CA.

##Edit #1: Structure and Colors

I've spent now over an hour messing with the CSS. I set the colors to these because I think they're cool and not gay at all. Tomorrow I'll do a bit more. I need sleep :(

##Edit #2: Header Placement

I've added a header image as a placeholder (temporary) and removed the old JERBS! image. I've also updated this post above to include the HEX (web color) codes for the five-color palette I'm using, in case anyone wants to contribute to the design in any way.

I can't take all the credit for the idea, after seeing the online trailer and a post on another sub-reddit, but i think this would be fun, hoping to get a few people with recording capabilities to join in and get some cool shots, and with more than one recorder lets everyone participate. it may take a few days/weeks to get enough money to get a few sweet rides, but when we do, I think it will be fun.

OK its like this, I bought the game on launch day, it is fucking awesome, I have yet to play Multi-Player, was wondering if any fellow JERBS are interested.

Hi all, so i opened up my reddit in today - havnt had a chance to for the past couple days and I see some messages in my inbox from jr and cryptic. I was just writting out my message to them when i thought i'd check the jerb subreddit and low and beyold a reference to my whereabout at the top!

So i thought instead of sending individual messages I'd just post here and give you all the lowdown on the last 6 months.

Basically, its been a tough slog of interviews and tests and more interviews and rejections, acceptances and sometimes ones that just kind of get forgotten.

But! I got through it, I've got a job working for PricewaterCoopers within their management consultancy team, specialising in technology. I'm mid way through an 8 week training scheme and everything is going really well. Just the way the company is structured, I'll be based out of Belfast for the next couple years so I'm here now just meeting with my office and looking for flats.

I just need to first sort out all my months expenses that I can claim for, put a deposit down for a flat and then figure out how much money I have left over to sort out my ps3 situation and a new phone :P. Should work out tho, hopefully will be able to be online come May after my training course finishes and I move in to my new flat.

I'll probably end up being a bit of weekend warrior, since the nature of the job is monday-friday on client site, in hotels away from home, but I've got Aftermath and End game to get in to!

Long-story short, everything has (sort of) worked out - moving to Belfast is a bit of a ball ache, but what ever. And I just feel super lucky to firstly get a job in this economic climate and secondly exactly the role I set out to to get in the first place.

I love that you guys still remember me and hopefully see you all soon on the Battlefield!

trying to see who is interested in a Clan Battle, this is in the early planning stages, trying to see who wants to play and when.

So I was playing on the public servers yesterday with a mate and ran into folk running JERB clan tags. A bit of Battlelogging later I discover you are Redditors! I noticed jrriojasse,the_melkman and Bomoan were all running Reddit tags so hi there if you see this.

Just wanted to say thanks for an enjoyable evening, despite the repeated and frustating violation you inflicted on us. Particularly from the air - damn!!

I was wondering what was next, I was wondering if anyone wanted to look for another clan battle? I think we need to change the Clan name or if any of you wanted to join JERB and we can keep this clan for special events etc.

Usually around 2p.m. EST on Saturday we are able to get a good game going there too. Hope to see you out there.
