I remember downloading this mixtape off DatPiff when it dropped back in 2010. I never thought Cole would be as big as he is today why lie. Its cool to see people are going to listen to this finally for the first time. For those who've heard it whats yall favorite song?
Producer Elyas shares the fascinating story of co-producing J. Cole’s ‘7 Minute Drill,’ a diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar that was deleted shortly after its release. He also reveals how the iconic beat switch came together and his experience working on such a special project.

How are yall feeling this🤔
How did the label and jay not think the masterpiece Friday night light was not ready to be Cole’s first album . The sideline story is dog shit compared to it and it shocks me the masterpiece fnl is the label is retarded af . Also Cole would have actually had a classic first album unlike what actually happened
Ib hinting at FNL confirmed. We're getting blessed this Thanksgiving 😭❤️
PS: Cole better, Cole washed this nigga, get mad I don't care.

THE FALL OFF OTW
Is there leaks of this album or something? Like unreleased? I want to listen to it and maybe download it and have it locally on spotify... But does it even exist? (I dont really know a lot about it so my bad if smtns misinfo)
I thought it was ok, I feel like it could grow on me over time but it feels a bit rushed. I like his conceptual albums better. I feel like this album has the same intentions as the untitled album, just for the fans and LA supporters. Reincarnated ended up bein my favorite track along with the heart p6….i feel like with all that’s going on with the beefs and all that, it was a bit tough for me to enjoy but I had a good listen with a few songs on the album, it’s a 6/10 for me….
Ima stream the fuck out of Too deep for the intro
Why is his name OnPoint?
and sorry if im late but im a neutral listener. i have no horse in the beef race but listening to port san antonio gives so much more context. and seeing how wether cole was clued in or not, about the direction the beef was going, the pattern has been,
diss happens
cole gains info
cole shares new stance
people judge cole
a bigger event happens
then in conclusion, people recant their opinion seeing that cole reacted on having inside information and then made the correct decision.
the 1st chapter of this was the like that/dreamville festival speech sequence.
i feel like the exchanged records/port san antonio/drake lawsuit is more of the same pattern and we’re on the dawn of a richter scale moment.
THAT BOT LINE IS FUCKIN ME UP RN.
its 2:53AM in LA and my brain is running laps lol.
My fellow dreamers, recently I have been getting into the Mellon Man. Not really his album reviews, more his lets argue series but I've just been enjoying his videos a lot. I know this is a cardinal sin among Cole fans but it's the truth. I enjoy Fantano
First off, I'm high asf! Second Cole Verse in Pi has to be one of his best 💪🏽💪🏽 like top 5.....Beneath his chosen identity, there is still a pussy "period" .... end of statement!!!! THE HARDEST PERIOD EVER USED 😆😆😆😆
The truth always been in your face a lot of you just want to ignore it
What are your favorite ‘corny but fire’ bars that only J Cole could pull off.
My favorites are ‘I let you feel like the shit but boy you can’t out fart me’ and ‘dick so big it’s like a foot is in your mouth’
When does the mixtape drop on streaming if it's in the pattern?
The song is so good but it actually ruins it. How can they think that skippy shouty rapping is fitting for that instrumental. I can’t listen to it without skipping that part. I like earthgang as well but it baffles me how no one cut it out
He Stayed True To Himself
I feel like I’ve never heard anyone listening to or even knowing about this song. I’ve been a fan of it ever since it came out. Everyone’s verse is soooo good especially Cole’s. A$AP crushes too. Have you guys ever heard it? If not give it a listen
Cole has better lyricism by a MILE and better flow than Kendrick. Cole is a better rapper than Kendrick but the media gives him all the attention because Kendrick pumped out more albums in the early 2010s.
To put in perspective, The Fall Off will be better than any project Kendrick could even think of. Cole’s been working on The Fall Off Since 2018 (latest) and he released two albums while he’s doing so. Kendrick disappears for 5 years, drops an album on par with The Off Season and all of a sudden Kendrick is a top 3 of all time. He actually might be the most over rated human to walk the earth
It bothers me how most the media doesn’t understand why Cole backed out. Seriously, listen to Port Antonio once. Cole was the bigger person and he got branded as being Kendrick’s bitch
“Just because you refuse to shoot the gun don’t mean the gun ain’t deadly”
He tried warning us awhile back… did we all forget
Mhm. Sick slow beat and flow. He spitting again!
In all seriousness wish him good luck, bro is suing the illuminati.

Fall Off otw
After J Cole apologized to Kendrick I was the first person to hate on J Cole like crazy. But after watching the ‘What’s The Dirt’ video about Drake and J Cole’s relationship I gained wayyy too much respect for Cole. Truly has always been true to his word. He’s genuinely a good guy there’s no faking that.. coming from a big Drake supporter.
