Humom takes me out too early and in the rain on top of that! Unforgivable... //Rossi
Our new iggy Antonio, he is 12 weeks old and a real terror! He loves zoomies, stealing food, biting everything in sight and sleeping. But he is adorable.
Mine will randomly run up to me after eating her food and continue chewing and it turns out she has a piece of kibble stuck between her teeth and cheek…
So last night an IG breeder I’ve been in touch with for years messaged me and said that she had an Iggy up for adoption and thought he’d make a good fit in my family.
I immediately said yes, I’ve wanted one my whole life. A few questions…
Are IGs good hunting/tracking dogs? How much exercise does yours get every day? How do they hold up in colder weather?
And include anything else I should know! Thanks!

Tuca has decided that ALL blankets are his blanket.
Has anyone been told by the vet it’s just allergies but actually end up with tracheal collapse? Our vet I’ve taken my baby too is a just a small town one and they insist it’s just allergies when she has wheezing/honking fits 2-3x a day. The only thing that helps is me giving her breaths snout to mouth. I’m just so afraid it will happen when I’m not home to help her breathe. Is this something common in our breed?
This letter one is just over 3 months. She is walking really well and we want to start upgrading from the cat harness and cheap clothes we got her a month ago. When do Italian Greyhounds reach full size? She really needs a proper raincoat and harness or collar.
I don't want to invest £200 now and she grows out of it quickly. When is a good time to buy things you want to last?
This was taken in September when our Lucy was about four months old. 💕
juniper loves her older brother so much but he doesn’t seem to be entertained by her shenanigans haha
TW: mention of pet loss
So, yesterday I came across an incredibly depressing thread filled with mothers who had a baby and no longer adored their pets the same.
I didn't dare comment, because the responses were filled with "girl, same, it's normal, it's fine" and I couldn't agree. My first human baby is two months old and I feel just the same overwhelming love for my three iggies as I did. I'm also absolutely devastated this week because I unexpectedly had to get my cat put down. He had been hiding lung cancer until it reached end stage. I miss him so much and keep randomly crying.
Anyway, I am hoping to hear from people who have babies and still love their pets.
