Pretty much all in the title, looking for a good pub to watch the NZ game on Friday night in cork. Big screen or something along the lines of that. Thanks
Just realised the Munster V All Blacks game isn’t being shown on terrestrial television (crazy no?) — does anyone have a streaming link? Much appreciated!
Any suggestions apart from a dodgy box? TV Now seems to have SkySports but doesn't cover all the matches.
I seen a video of Brian Odriscoll, and was wondering if anyone knows what top hes wearing, year or anything about it.
Hi folks,
I'm a season ticket holder with Connacht and entered a ballot for tickets for Ireland vs Australia.
I was successful in the balot but I've yet to be contacted and can't get in touch with them, I've rang and left emails. It's two weeks past the deadline of when they were to contact me and I could do with securing transport and accommodation but I'm concerned something is wrong.
Has any other Connacht season ticket holders been successful in the same balot and have you been contacted or given an update?
3 tickets in west stand:
Evening all.
I am planning on collecting my parents after the [New Zealand] match this day week. Is the Shelbourne Hotel and good location to ask them to wait at?
I'll be coming from North Co. Dublin, planning on using the Port Tunnell and East Link Bridge to come through Rignsend and Irishtown so even anywhere in those areas would work.
Their seats are in the South Stand so they will be exiting onto Lansdowne Rd.
Been to plenty of match there but never had to drive in before/after one.
Man publicly declares he is NOT insane 😁
I checked this morning to buy tickets for the Argentina match, ticketmaster was listing them at €75 each for blocks 112 and 113.
Got confirmation on numbers to go to the match and just went on to buy tickets now at 12:00 and there’s floods of tickets after being released and all the prices have gone up to €90.
I assume this is some pricing thing with IRFU when they release batches of tickets but I didn’t think they’d change the prices like that. Am I wrong or is this the norm ?
Just bought tickets for this at the end of November. And realised the URC is on the same weekend?? Will Ireland put out a 2nd strong team against the Aussies? Will the top players play with the country or provinces ..
Long shot but anyone selling 2 tickets 🤞
Hurry!
Anyone know where I can find my renewal date ? I signed up at some point last year, but can still login to member area & have membership number, but here’s no renewal date listed, or place to pay subscription?
It's a hot topic at the moment. Personally I love it. The character and cultural significance it brings to the game are valuable in my opinion. I do however think it should be something that the opposition should be allowed to challenge. This got me thinking how could some of the other rugby nations do that?
Should we send furlong and porter up after the haka. To see them bursting out from green smoke to irish dance music and dancing their hearts out while the other players hold hurleys and sliotars.
What kind of wild challenges would you like to see in response to the haka from other countries if it became a thing?
Did not see that coming, rough start to the season but nothing that bad.Instagram Announcment
Hello everybody, I'm Italian and I just bought a ticket for next year match. Since I'm going alone I'd like to meet someone there to enjoy the match with and have some fun during third half :)
I’ll use Munster as it’s the easiest example for me. There were obvious reasons for the NIQ policy which I think most people would have been supportive of given where the national squad was at the time and especially with the front row production line (RIP Tom Court’s Ireland career) but are we now getting to a point where it’s having quite significant downsides?
The whole thing with Munster having to let go of Snyman and Frisch has been well documented. Looking at them as the team that won the league two seasons ago and where they are now I don’t think you can argue they are worse off. Sure Snyman was injured a lot but when he was there he could win you the game and Frisch was a class act and a good combo with Nank. Farrell I think is a good signing but there is no way we can replace someone like Snyman. Can we really say that Snyman being signed by Leinster benefits Irish rugby? And consider the no NIQ front row rule despite Leinster sneaking in Slimani when Munster have been denied going external numerous times (again just looking at Munster for simplicity it’s not limited to them).
Surely it’s better for the provinces to be successful than to be forced to move players on who are settled and playing well and contributing positively. I think a new approach is needed to stop the three other provinces falling irrecoverably behind Leinster. Rather than saying provinces can only have one NIQ in a certain position, why not give each an allowance of 4 across the whole squad, unless the national depth chart falls below a certain number in a certain position.
Leinster are producing a ridiculous amount of top quality players and that shouldn’t be penalised but given they have 12(?) centrally contracted players and soon to have Snyman, Slimani and Barrett it’s just a case of the rich getting richer while the other three are scrapping away.
I don’t think any province would have had their trophy successes, or at least as many, with the current rules if they had been in place for the last 25 years.
Idk I’m only one guy.
Watching the Munster game yesterday I was disappointed by the quality of props we are producing as there isn’t a lot of top quality props coming through ,even with the u20s with Ireland our props struggled in the u20 semi final against England in the scrum .With both ,bealham, furlong over 30 with other lads such as jager and porter getting up there what can Ireland do to improve our prop development and therefore better our scrum
Trying to plan a trip to Rome for the game on March 15th. What sections/seats are Ireland fans sitting in and anyone have any general advise for Stadio Olimpico?
