This sub is for all who enjoy the many quirks of the numerous characters in the show Invader Zim.

- Stay on topic to Invader Zim
Keep the content related to Invader Zim. Content from the show's creator, cast, or crew isn't Invader Zim but I might make an exception if you're promoting their new work.
- Support the official release.
No information on how to bootleg the show, books, or film. There are official ways to watch and read official Invader Zim. One exception however is out of print media such as the original DVD set's bonus content (isolated commentary tracks, interview footage, etc).
Don't even hint that you can help someone find it.
- No links to buy unlicensed merch.
Posting photos of fanmade stuff is absolutely fine. However, links to where you can buy unlicensed stuff will be deleted.
- Zero tolerance for bigotry.
/r/InvaderZim is a space that supports the equality, equity, and justice of LGBT+, POC, disabled, and other marginalized groups due to circumstances of birth.
- Keep your original content consolidated
If you have a series of drawings or memes or observations or questions please do NOT make a separate post for each and every image. You don't need five or six posts on here every two days.

You don't have to be overtly sweet and sensitive and nice 24/7. However, you have the ability to think before you type. Don't be a jerk.

We have NEVER tolerated the depiction of children in romantic relationships with adults or in ANY sexual situations regardless of partners' age.
And, yes, the Irken characters are canonically adults.
Furthermore, discussions and content pertaining to fans depicting Irkens in relationships with human children has outstayed its welcome. Talk about something else here.
Lastly, fanwork for ZaDr, ZaGr, DaTr, (and so on) MUST CLEARLY depict both parties as consenting adults. Thanks!

Conceived an episode idea, but it's not perfect.
One day in school, the entire class including the teacher's finally fed up with Dib and his alien accusations, to the point where they all agreed to work with Zim's schemes to rule the planet, just to stick it to Dib & his motives.
Magic School Bus 2.0 style.
Some classmates even admit to hating the world & what it stands for, anyways.
Regarding it as stinky, dirty, loud, too big, etc.
Dib then begs to his family to start giving a shit & put a whole stop to it.
Episode title would most likely be known as "Unity of Doom".
It's quite similar to the episode with the chewing moose, so it's kind of like a part two to that, lol.

Text Wall Lore Dump Time!!!
Her whole deal is that she loves Earth and Human Culture, even if she doesn't fully understand it. She lives with Zim, who only puts up with her bullshit because she's an inch taller than him. She and GIR are kindred spirits, and the two bond over their love of earth food. Lake's naivety about Earth Culture makes her very gullible, however.
Her human disguise just consists of things she thinks are cool. Can't decide on a hair color? Why pick just one? Glasses are neat, who cares if they fuck up her vision. Leg warmers? Why the hell not? Let's just say her fashion sense leaves much to be desired. Her broken tooth is not part of her disguise, she chipped it when she crash-landed on Earth while en-route to her assigned planet (those damn asteroid belts), which is also how her antenna got bent. Oh yeah, she's an ex-Invader. She informally renounced her title after falling in love with humanity. She hasn't told the Tallests this though.
She also puts stickers on her PAK like a laptop or water bottle.
Lake is mainly inspired by the fannon interpretation of the MLP character Lyra Heartstrings, specifically the fan song "Anthropology (Lyra's Song)"

Hello! I would love to do an Invader Zim rp with someone! I’ve been a fan of the show for 10+ years now and had never really done an rp but it would be very fun to try and experience! I’m pretty experienced when it comes to rp and I enjoy literate rps with some plot and humor as well. My favorite genres are things like Adventure, Fun, and Sci-Fi! My playable characters are currently: Zim Dib Tak Gir Professor Membrane

Curious why Nick chose to cancel the show instead of just slashing the budget
I feel like they could've just slashed the budget and let them complete the episodes they had in production with much cheaper animation, it wouldn't have looked as pretty but if money was the issue I don't see why they didn't just do that, especially considering that some of the episodes were already storyboarded and voiced, seems like a waste to just shelve them.

2002-2004 DSL internet I stumbled upon a huge IZ fan site. Idk if it had a forum or what but then I remember someone by the name of “nachosAndCurlyFries” from the website started messaging me on AIM saying they were a friend of JV and had a screener DVD of all the episodes. Does anyone else remember this?

Is my oc a Mary sue?
Okay my dumbass phone won't let me post pictures due to parental controls but she (nil, my oc) is tall but not as tall as the tallest. She was put in charge of the smeeteries bcs of her height and is considered to be very caring and and kind although she was an irken soldier once and is still good at protecting the smeets is she a Mary sue?
