Be Civil	Treat others with basic decency. No personal attacks, shill accusations, harassment or hate speech. Exceptions to this rule are categories that are not protected, such as politicians, military/public figures, institutions, etc.
Must be news	Posts must be news articles or news videos (v.reddit or YouTube). Put opinion pieces, images, social media posts (ie Tweets, etc.) and all other media in the weekly sticky thread.
No Hate-speech	No racism, antisemitism, Islamophobia, bigotry, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc. This includes denial of identity (self or collective).
Do not glorify collective punishment or use dehumanizing language	Do not generalize an entire population based on the negative actions of some members & do not glorify collective punishment or suffering (including collective violence).
No personal info or doxxing	Do not post anyone's personal information (ie phone number, address, etc.).
No talking about other subreddits negatively	Included are other popular news subreddits that won't be mentioned. Comments will be removed (either automatically, or manually).
Site-wide rules	Follow Reddit's content policy.
Minimize Reposts	Reposts are minimized to achieve balance between news coverage & to prevent flooding of redundant articles.
