Batch question

Currently a gold cart and need 30 points to reach platinum. If I do a 3 shop, do those three batches count toward it or does it only count as one?

Instacart 🥶

Where I am, it's below 30 degrees today, and I'm logged into Instacart, amazed at the situation. We really should be getting extra incentives for working in this freezing cold, especially when we’re not just grocery shopping for others but also delivering the groceries. I get that some people tip in cash, but many don’t. If the app says there’s no tip, it usually means you’re not getting one. And when I’m shopping for groceries and delivering them over 5 miles away, I feel like a tip should be expected. Gas isn’t free, and this job is tougher than it seems. Am I wrong to think we deserve better compensation for this?

What are the reasons u dont get high pay orders...

I'm a diamond cart with 4.99 star ratings as well and I sit near by hotspots as well .... But I see people with limited knowledge ( the way they shop looks like beginners) they say a 50$+ order when asked and less miles which I never see that...

Can I know what else is contributing for them or what I am missing?

I just want to take a$100 and go home...

I never seen an order $40 and above..

Have I habituated the app that he works for less let him take the same?

Any thoughts or improvements on this?

Kindly share.....

I wish for every share u may have one unicon in coming days.. I just wish as a return favor

Quad Batches

The first quad batch I’ve seen in NYC. Another batch I didn’t jump on. Becoming less and less interesting to do this.

what would you rather pick up

would you rather pick up a order with really high/boosted batch pay and little to no tip or a order with a large tip and tiny batch pay? example order A: 6km 15 items $20 batch + 2.50 tip order B: 6km 15 items $9 batch + $10 tip

to me order A looks good enough but i know some people say they would never take a order with a small tip.

How does Costco batches work?

I’m almost gold tier and my card is about to come in the mail. How do the Costco batches work? Do I have to provide my own membership? Or do they let me in if I show I’m on Instacart?

Newbie question

I had an order for a bouquet of flowers. They didn’t have what she wanted so I replaced as she asked, cashed out, and as I was walking out I got a message from the customer asking me to add a balloon. I backed up in the app and added a new item and added the balloon. It said it was already cashed out, but it was only for the flowers. I bought the balloon with the Instacart card and kept the receipt but couldn’t submit a pic. Was that the right thing to do? Can you add once the order is cashed out?

Oops We Overcharged, Sawwry!

The first odd clue something went awry was when there were no groceries delivered despite the app telling me they were (and if I have minute could I give a rating ?). The driver informed me it was error and would be there before the allotted time window closed. No problem, I said.

No problem until my checking account informs me if overdraft status. 'Hmmmm how could that be?' Turns out IC got a little carried away and multiplied every item times 5.

I lashed out to the overseas customer service rep while emphasizing repeatedly to her that I'm not directing my anger to her. She is doing her best witha difficult job. Then added, "it's just that 5-10 business days before a refund doesn't fix my now overdrawn checking account with rent having to be paid tomorrow, then the $50 overdraft fees that will follow with $10-15 subscriptions auto-pays".

Oh, I didn't get groceries either. I guess no food for me because I can't buy groceries while my account is overdrawn. Looks lile I'll find some restaurant dumpsters to root around in. Hey! maybe I'll go toe to toe with a rat over a half eaten pepperoni pizza. Ha! That'd be hilarious!

No, but I'm really in a bind. I heard instacart say they'd refund me but what I didn't hear was anything about making things right or how they can recompense for me having to grovel to my ex-wife or sibling to loan me funds, or that I won't be looking forward to a cup of coffee tomorrow on my day off.

And why should they? I'm just another anonymous shadow to them to let their underpaid call center reps in India deal with til I kindly **ckoff.

Thanks, dicks!

Friendly reminder heading into December that because we had two months with 31 days (92 total or 13.14 weeks) that 197 or 328 hours are needed for the healthcare subsidy instead of 195 or 325 🎄🎄🎄🎄.

BTW hope everyone was able to enjoy their holiday 🩵

Deactivated for aggressive behavior

So i got deactivated for aggressive behavior or whatever they called it towards a store employee. Which wasn’t true. Appealed it and they decided to deactivate my account all cause a wegmans store employee let someone skip me in the self checkout and got me screwed was my only income was making $1200 weekly. Shit is fucked up forreall.. always above 4.95 good ratings i just dont understand at all. So i can never get back on right? Said i violated contract or whatever. Never had problems with customers 1st time ever with a store employee complaint just like that im deactivated.
