Curious to see how everyone instacarts in here, what’s your method?
I don’t know how everyone else is doing, but I’m doing horrible in the Hartford area. I have a 4.99 rating everything good on my account but I think the problem is actually that they’re letting too many shoppers on with not enough demand. I see new shoppers every day and it’s good that other people are getting a chance at this independent application but it’s not good for the people that have already been doing it and now all of a sudden can’t get an order.
I’ve never sitting around, so I actually think I’m going to stop doing the application
I had the same issue with Amazon Flex. I have never had an issue, but they keep giving orders to new drivers.
Has anyone else experience in orders no matter how demand is ? Ugh
I completed my last order and the app just switched to this ugly font? It’s so giant and displeasing to my eyeballs. It looks like each order takes up more of my screen which is super annoying
Anyone else in Denver not getting batches at King Soopers? Even on slow days the soops make about 60% of orders for me and Ive gotten literally zero in 3 days of being online. Support is useless, keeps telling me it is because of my batch settings or acct but I am high rated priority with all stores turned on and still only getting orders from Sprouts, Safeway, etc.
This seems HELPFUL… I almost bought it right away but I don’t love to take doubles and triples. However this may change that. Thoughts?
And I can guarantee you if you don't already know the road from Wickenburg on up to Peeples Valley is the windiest, steepest (pretty though) BS on the planet. 20-30 mph with all the turns. That's a hard no for me dawg.
To an apt building no less. 🚫
Slow day so far for me! See crap batches and good ones are gone to quick (as usually). So i decided to watch one of my shows on hulu and have it minimize and bam i see a notification for a unicorn for $121!! I freeze for a spilt second! cuz i've never seen one on the app before! I try to click on it and another app notification pops up. Click on that instead and the unicorn is gone! Ugh! Been doing pretty good these past few days! Sucks that i missed it but yeah! Slow day so far!
Like idk if it’s down but it seems like it.
Who is taking these slavery type ordered in CT??
How early are yall usually out and online? I sometimes don’t start until 11-12 but I wanna start getting up earlier than that
shaking my head .... can't even touch those batches (most of them in my area) because everything is already out of stock!!! It's Halloween DAY for godsake!
Seriously, I’m curious if anyone knows the formula.
Took this order, happily, 60 for 3 shops, 34 items and 9 miles. IMMEDIATELY after starting customer C starts adding things. She prob added 10 things back to back. Then she messages me and asks for other things including alcohol. I said I can't do that and I accepted this order based off of x items. "Ok sorry". Shortly after customer A starts adding things like a crazy person. I said to her the same thing. She responded "so sorry, thought I was placing items on a new order". Yet she proceeds to add another 10 or so items. I said it's fine, i'm here I'll just get what you need. 34 items literally became about 60. They also felt the need to question every replacement I made, they wanted a lot of Halloween candy and it was sparsely available. You can see and probably could have guessed if my tip was increased for A and C. All 3 live in huge ass nice houses. B carried the order and zero need for communication. 🤦♂️ people like A and C are the worst!!!
100% reliant on good tips at this point. Instacart forgot we have to pay taxes too.
I am usually hesitant to have others shop for my produce but thought I’d give this year’s pumpkin picking to Instacart.
Five minutes after ordering I realized that the tip was changed to the minimum, but was rectified after delivery. These are what I received.
My kids hate them, think they are the worst pumpkins ever. But I love them! The wartiest one will make a nice witch or goblin.
We’re divided on opinion. What do you think?
C’mon customer. I will tip that amount and bring it to my apartment. 🤦♂️
Was a back to back order kind of day , felt decent
$13 for a double order going 20 miles… its literally not worth doing instacart anymore
Maybe this is redundant or some of you already know, but I figured I’d share for other newbs or fairly inexperienced shoppers like myself.
If you’re like me, you may find Michael’s batches a hassle if you’re not familiar with the store. I was on a roll this morning and took a small 3-item batch going a few miles that got boosted to $15. This time before starting the shop, I pulled up the Michael’s website and set it to my store’s location and was able to quickly type in each item and see exactly what aisle it was in and what stock levels looked like. Every item was categorized as sewing/craft supplies on the IC app, something like that. You’d think they were all in the same aisle. Turns out all 3 items were in 3 different aisles! Using their website (there may even be an app that functions the same) I was in and out in 4 minutes. Just a little tip if you typically shy away from these batches. I see a lot of Michael’s batches during the week so hopefully I can expand my horizons with this.
Today I saw a batch that was pretty bad and it started with $13.98, nobody was picking it up and then instead of going up in price it went down😳 Went down to $11.82 and then it disappeared, idk if someone took it lol Why would that happen?
They tripping. You can get crab legs 👇🏼
I wonder what have I done to piss off Instacart. Been going home with almost nothing this week… tue:$19 wed:22 thu:0… my weeks are normally $900-$1200. How’s your week?? 5 star shopper- no reported issues -
Trick or treat?
The idea of one person tipping and having 3 non tippers for a 60mile roadtrip for 25$ is going to be so much fun! Add In the keeping track of 4 orders in multiple carts and checking them all out and hoping you can organize them all in the car without a mix up sounds like a lot of fun I can’t wait!
