Anyone know what this bug is, found in central Victoria Australia
Hey guys I just found this guy outside my house. I thought it was so beautiful with the different colors on his wings. What type of moth is it?
I keep seeing this around my home, seen a few not many
i saved this picture in my gallery a year ago because i loved the females of the species and now i can’t remember the name. are they even real
I think they’re German roaches but I don’t know what to do. They’re in my desk (haven’t seen them anywhere else) and I have cats and dogs so I’m unsure what is safe for them in terms of poison. :(
I found it sitting on my hand. The place is Hong Kong.

Hey my friend and I are at the park right now. This bug landed on my friend a few times. We also found out that it flys.
In general, but for the sake of posting, North Texas.
These tiny blackish things keep reappearing for a long time now. Whenever I clean them out, they keep coming back. Are they eggs of some sort? They feel like tiny rocks. How to get rid of them?
Sorry if asked b4, but it's been bugging (ha!) me for years. Mosquitos (& other blood drinking bugs) can they 'tell' if someone is on drugs? If not, & one lands on a user/addict, has a drink, will the drugs in the blood kill the mozzy? or will it survive, get high/addicted to the drug & seek out drug users so it can get it's fix? Ta
Is this under question or ID request???
I'm on an insect community page on Tumblr and the lovely @/darkendpotato posted this wondering what it was. They live in the Caribbean and it was found on their college campus. It looks like a longhorn of some sort but the antennae are so strangely positioned! Can anyone help?
So this is one of several ladybugs found in this situation. They are still alive but unable to move due to whatever the thing on them is. Not sure if it’s some kind of parasite or disease but I’m wondering if anyone else has seen this
Hey insectnerds, i’m looking for an ID on the family of this moth. I’m doing moth population research on an island (St Eustatius), and I can’t find much on the tiniest moths in the Caribbean. This specimen is about 2mm large, collected in one of the two areas i’m comparing right now. I’ve already put it up on iNaturalist, but most of my contributions havent yet been verified, so I thought I would try Reddit aswell. My guess would be gelechiidae, aka twirler moths I believe.
Any expert lepidopterist in here?
Ive uploaded the photos and clip on imgur, pls check it out. Thanks ;)
