Do you think EV tax credits are fair equality wise? Make an argument.

First, I'm all for EVs. They are not perfect, but they help the environment. EVs also help USA (and other countries) reduce dependence on foreign energy. But a tax credit so the wealthy can more easily afford a luxury EV? With the Chevy Bolt now having an MSRP under $30k and the Nissan Leaf, at least those could be argued are economy models. But tax money going to people buying luxury models because they're luxury EV models? Just seems absurd. Why not have a gradual tax on gas luxury models? $1k on cars over $40k in 2023, $2k on cars over $40k in 2024, and so on.....

I could understand not wanting to tax pickup trucks. People use them for work, a crew cab work truck starts at least $50k MSRP. Perhaps certain exceptions should be included, minivans, full size vans, pickups. I can't believe tax money goes to making Teslas more affordable. If Tesla had a model that started under $30k MSRP, okay I'd call that economy.

billionaires shoudn't exist

Billionaires and corporate executives give thousands of dollars to Bernie Sanders' opponents. When they make those contributions they are first in line to get their concerns taken care of. Bernie believe in democracy, not billionaires owning the system.

My school is bullshit

Yesterday was the first day of pride month, keep that in mind. My sibling went to the bathroom in the last hour of class yesterday. They have medical problems including ovarian cysts and endometriosis. It took them a total of fifteen minutes in the bathroom because they not only had a stomach ache, but they also bled through their underwear, on the floor, and on the toilet seat. My sibling has been to the bathroom longer than this before for similar reasons so they didn’t think anything would happen. After they left the bathroom, they went into the art room right next to their last class to grab their final project for the school year. They spent maximum five minutes in the art room. After that they went back to class. Total time gone was 20 minutes. In that time my siblings teacher marked them truant. He said they were gone for 35 minutes, and when my mom tried to correct it, the principal said there was still 20 minutes of unaccounted time according to the math teacher. This is completely not true. They checked the cameras for my siblings time at the bathroom, but not the cameras after they left the bathroom. Remember when I said yesterday was the first day of pride month? Well I believe this is discrimination against my siblings gender. When my sibling tried to explain to their teacher what happened, he wouldn’t even let them get a word out, claiming that my sibling was lying. My sibling is a straight A, good student, not a delinquent.

My sibling and I have been bullied all year and the school has done nothing. My principal claims that there is no bullying problem at the school. Now let me tell you this, last week a student in my grade posted a picture of them holding a hand gun and the post said “bring bullying back, burn the gays”. We live in a hunting town, and my principal said that my school handles guns differently. I get that, but this wasn’t a hunting gun and it certainly wasn’t a hunting related problem. Also on multiple occasions me and all of my friends have been yelled at around the town from students in their cars. They call us slurs because we are open about our identities. Please blow this up, tell me that this isn’t bullshit, you’d be wrong. Please help me do something about all of this, help me fix it for good. Please, I’m begging you.

Raise interest rates! Let the poor be rewarded for saving and EARN interest. Low interest rates only help the Rich borrow more money while the Poor work 40-80 hrs a week earning no interest on savings.

Ramesh Chaurasia Updates - Inequality

Reduced Inequality Sustainable Development Goal 10 [SDG 10] calls for decreasing inequalities in income as well as the ones based on sex, disability, age, race, ethnicity, faith, or monetary or different reputation within a rustic. The intention addresses the inequalities within and among other countries, consisting of those related to migration, representation, and development help.

This entails improving regulation and tracking of economic markets and establishments, encouraging development assistance, and directing funding to areas wherein the want is best. Facilitating the mobility and safe migration of people is likewise key to bridging the widening space.

The global community has made full-size strides towards lifting humans out of poverty. For those which are prone to land-lock growing nations, also the least evolved countries, and the Small Island growing States - retain to make a structure for poverty reduction. However, inequality nevertheless persists and massive disparities stay in getting admission to health and education offerings and different belongings.

Targets that need to be focused on to achieve the desired goals

  • Adopt Social And Fiscal Policies To Promote Equality

By adopting policies, salary, social and especially fiscal, protection guidelines, and gradually attain greater equality.

  • Improved Regulation Of Global Financial Institutions And Markets

Need to Improve the regulation and tracking of world monetary markets and institutions and beef up the implementation of such rules.

  • Promote Universal Social, Economic, And Political Inclusion

To empower and sell the monetary, social, and political inclusion of all, irrespective of fiscal, age, disability, intercourse, race, ethnicity, faith, beginning, or monetary or different fame by 2030

  • Encourage investment in the least developed countries and Development assistance

To encourage reliable improvement assistance and financial flows, such as foreign direct funding, to States where they want best, especially African nations, least advanced international locations, small island growing states that are landlocked for developing countries, according to their countrywide programs and plans.

Conclusion:

With developing inequalities usually global, not one of the regions reaches the aim, and all get a pink rating. There is enormous uncertainty in our evaluation, and, taking into account that local variations are probable to reduce, a better score might have been given.

Inequality can be reduced but with the efforts of all of us together. We need to stand against inequality and need to be pointed out when we see it happen. It is an effort of all of us combined. If we work together to achieve this goal not only will it be within but among other countries too.

The truth

All men are not created equal. Some are born swifter of foot, some with greater beauty. Some are born into poverty and others born sick and feeble. Both in birth and in upbringing in sheer scope of ability every human is inherently different. Yes, that is why people discriminate against one another, which is why there is struggle, competition, and the unfaultering mark of progress. Inequality is not wrong, equality is.

To understand inequality you have to look at human differences

To understand inequality you have to look at human differences. It may be taboo but it's necessary part of nature & nurture discussion.

The Bell Curve showed a study where blacks & whites with an IQ of 100 made the same annual income within a few hundred dollars apart. Whether you agree with that study or not...where is there comparative studies analyzing the issue so one can draw some conclusion? If society is going to say that topic is forbidden then lets just chalk up inequality discussion as pseudoscience and I'll ignore it and feel sad for humanity.

The sad & difficult part about human inequality is to understand the issue you have to understand issues that seem mean and unfair.
