I have tried to read books like "The Fall" and "The Metamorphosis". I have also ordered a bunch of classics which are collecting dust now all because I don't understand them.
After reading metamorphosis and not being able to understand it, i researched about it and came to a conclusion and this one was pretty easy to understand and it's dumb of me that i didn't even understand this one.
After reading the fall, i didn't understand a word of it and had to read about it for straight 2-3 hours and still didn't quite understand it's significance and what it actually implies.
I really want to dive deeper into classics but I just don't know how to understand them :(
Same as title. Wanted to clear off my doubts.
Please suggest me book fair like lock the box etc which holds offline book fairs
Hey everyone! I'm always looking for books that leave a lasting impression, and Indian literature has so much to offer.
What’s one Indian book that completely blew your mind—be it for its story, characters, or perspective? It could be anything: a novel, short stories, poetry, or even non-fiction.
Let’s discuss and build an awesome reading list together!
Please suggest me some romcom books to gift my pregnant friend to get through her pregnancy.
She’s beginner. Never read a book. She expects no advice, preaching, thriller elements or grief.
I myself read either classics or thrillers. She wants neither of them. But she’s very much interested in reading.
Just an easy breezy read during these beautiful times
I'm not an avid reader and recently started this journey. Currently I'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird, I'm 4 chapters in (around 50 pages) and it's still boring. I get it that it's just the beginning... but I've been struggling to stick with it. I just read 8-10 pages in a sitting and then don't even bother picking up the book for a few days. I can binge watch an entire season of a show in a sitting but struggle with reading over 20 pages a day. I'm so fed up with my mind addicted to easy dopamine, it's just so frustrating. Any advice would be appreciated.
Went through a major depressive episode after losing my job and dwelled into reading all over again. Now I have found a job and doing so much better now fortunately. Books saved me.
I've read bad luck and trouble n watched both movies and prime series.
