I can only find US websites for selling
My friend will be coming from USA in next few months. If anyone of you has ordered SSD(via friend/family) before, can you please tell a bit about the warranty claim?
I know every brand is not same. Currently saw Samsung 990 pro 4 TB for around 25K there.
I'm looking for cheap controllers (around 1.5k) that are compatible with M1 Macbooks.
I had this in mind https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B0BCM8ST9C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2GTG1HPYW8M2P&psc=1
But like most of the controllers on amazon, it does not really specify whether it will work with a macbook or not.
Would love to know about more options.

What will you be doing with this PC? - My purpose would be gaming only since I have a laptop for personal/office work but maybe I'll use the PC for light work also (no streaming/video editing/rendering). Games I would be planning to play are: GTA 5, Hitman, MSFS2024, Forza, Spiderman, GOW, HZD, TLOU, PS3/XBOX 360 emulation etc.
What is your maximum budget? - ₹1.10 Lakhs.
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? - Now.
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? Only PC. I already have monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
Which state/city will you be purchasing the parts in? Bangalore.
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? All new parts.
Will you be overclocking? Never done it so no for now.
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? Parts that I absolutely don't wanna change will be the CPU and GPU because I think it's the perfect combination.
Do you have any specific case preferences? - Thinking to go for Ant Esports 205 Air ARGB but I don't need anything special.
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? - No.
Extra info or particulars:
I mainly have the below doubts:
- will the motherboard work with my CPU? I've checked online and it seems compatible. I also don't need Wi-Fi/Bluetooth right now so could save money on that.
- will the cooler be enough to make sure my CPU temperature do not go over limit? I don't need liquid cooling right now.
- will the 750W power supply be enough?
- any place I can save more ₹₹₹ or in fact spend slightly little more to make this build even better?
I have ordered Lenovo LOQ Series Laptop yesterday and i have also opted for the exchange offer, I have a 7-8 years old Dell Laptop 2nd Gen i5 processor. I have upgraded the ram to 16gb and 300gb hdd to 512 ssd. I am getting fixed exchange value of 14k (which is a lot), do you guys think the delivery guy will accept it? It works totally fine, screen is perfect, just minor scratches on the body.
I am currently in Chennai. I got my Xbox series S around a year back and loving it so far. I usually keep the controller clean and handle it as delicate as possible. Despite all my efforts, recently I am facing controller drift issues.
Is there any possibility that this can be fixed?
I am okay with both. Any help is appreciated 🙏
What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
What is your maximum budget?
180K
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
By end of May 2024 (I can wait if it makes sense to wait)
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/ keyboard/mouse/etc)
Tower
Which state/city will you be purchasing the parts in?
Delhi NCR and Online
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/ or GPU?
Should I? I would like to have the option if that helps me to keep the build for longer period without major upgrades.
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
I have an external 5TB hard disk paired with a Pi for Plex Server and ARR Ecosystem to run Linux ISOs primarily on my LG C3 65. I have been thinking to get a proper NAS setup with redundancy and more capacity.
I do need CUDA that's why I want to (sadly) go with Nvidia. ROCm is a hassle I am told. DLSS is an added perk with Nvidia.
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/ mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colours, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular colour theme preference for the components?
I do like minimalism if it has to be tabletop. Even a small box below the table works for me. Anything which does not become a big issue in future for upgrades.
**Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference? **
No, I will be mainly using it with Linux. I will arrange Windows separately or use Steam.
Extra info or particulars:
Just t give you all the background, my current setup is an M1 Macbook with a 27 4K monitor with MX Master 3s and Keychrone K8.
I am a casual gamer. I own a PS4 Pro for last 5 years and mostly play games which I get through my PS Plus subscription one or twice a month.
I saw this post recently. Anything you would have done differently to improve it? Or maybe suggest an entirely different build based on my use case.
Main reason to upgrade:
Hello all. So im currently using a Asus RT AC58U router. Im thinking of upgrading to get better wireless range and speeds.
Im thinking of getting a Mesh setup, looking at the ASUS ZenWiFi AX (XT8). Anyone using a Mesh setup at home? Any pros/cons to look into? Any other mesh setup you would like to recommend?
My floor is about 3000 Sq Ft with thick walls and im on a 600/600 plan, will upgrade when better plans are offered.
Have been playing over 25 years, planning to start a YT channel. Have seen many other with folks playing different games, with/without commentary, gameplays vs. tips/tricks, etc.
Do people prefer online games over story? Curious to know your opinions 🙌
Same as RDR2, GTA 6 won't release on Steam at launch and it will require to download the shitty Rockstar Games Launcher and Login to play the game. What are your opinion on this?
I'm not very familiar with monitors. I would mostly play competitive online multiplayers (VAL, CS, OW, LOL) and watch the occasional YouTube and Movies. I'm not a fan of huge screens, so a smaller one would be preferred. Don't want a curved screen either.
Preferred specs: 180hz, WQHD/4K
