So Spiderman 2 has been released for PC and I am so excited but I have this fear of not been able to play that on full rage as I have a laptop with 3070ti 8GB VRAM and it runs pretty hot, So I was researching this and I came across this solution to undervolt your GPU and CPU to manage temps, So asking you guys if I should and will it perform good and what are the risks involved, because this laptop is really precious to me. Please HELP me.

I have been trying to play the recent indiana jones game and realized that my gpu isn't powerful enough for 4k Path tracing(High) at once in that game, I gotta pick either one of those, else it's stuttering like hell, I'm barely getting 3-4 fps. But it works great at 1440p path tracing, or just 4k. Somehow I feel like my card is capable but is being bottlenecked by the 12GB VRAM. A lot of people do claim that it could do great with 16GB vram.

Weird thing my GPU utilisation at 4k path tracing is 98-100% but power draw is like idle 50w or so. Otherwise it does use full power.

Have anyone tried the same settings? Maybe tweaking some other graphics settings helped for them?

Also is it just the game? Or last gen GPUs are actually becoming obselete.

Guys, we need help.

This is our (me and my brother) first time buying any gaming console. We already know that our usage will be 3 hours maximum per day (combined). We didn't know much about the consoles. And we just wanted to complete our life long dream to own a gaming console. Now the questions we are facing are-

1. Should we go for pre owned PS5 or Pre owned PS4. At first PS5 seemed a logically great option but somehow my intuitions are telling me that I should avoid buying it online from websites like GameNation (I still can not define any reason but its just a hunch) on the other hand my brother is willing to put his trust in any online purchase.
2. Buying a brand new PS5 is too expensive for us. Is there any demerits of buying PS4 over PS5? Please tell us, if at all we may accept some and ready to buy PS4.
3. Is there any other way where we can verify the pre-owned PS4 / PS5 before the purchase? What would be our optimal option?
4. And lastly is there anything we need to know before purchase of any console or game. All tips, tricks and suggestions are welcome.
