Recently with the Head Coach of Kerala Blasters leaving, the team has been going through a big fallout with the players and other personnel in management. I find with all the conversation that indian players have come along way. They still contribute lesser as compared to early seasons of ISL. Around 30% for total goal scored in each season.

Indian clubs by State for season 2024-25
- This includes 55 clubs from ISL(13), I-League 1(12), 2(10) and 3(20/24). Last year there were 50 clubs in top 4 tiers.
- Goa and WB at top with 5 clubs each, followed by Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala with 4 clubs each
- North-East (14) Vs South-West (17) !!!
- Which state will come out on top next season?
- Important states/UTs without clubs
- North: Ladakh, HP
- East: Bihar, Sikkim, Nagaland, Tripura
- Down to 6 from 9 last season.
- Haryana, Uttarakhand, Andhra and Arunachal Pradesh with clubs this season.
- Sikkim miss out this season
- Jharkhand and TN with their only clubs in ISL.
