This subreddit is dedicated to In-N-Out Burger, its associates, and the guests who dine at our stores.
Whenever I come to L.A.—in fact, one of the reasons I look forward to doing The Taste—is because as soon as I arrive I'll hit the airport In-N-Out, and on my way out of town, after finishing The Taste, I'll pick up another. Every once in a while I'll even buy a big reeking back of burgers with onions and fries and shakes, and I'll bring 'em back through my very nice hotel lobby, and it's really an amazing thing to see. Generally speaking, when you walk through a lobby of a nice hotel with a big reeking bag of fast-food, people look at you like you're low class, like, 'Why are you bringing that in here? We do have a restaurant.' No, nothing but love and admiration, even from the staff. They're like, 'Good going sir, nicely done sir, excellent!'"

Does anyone else get these ? Or am I just crazy. I get double lettuce double spread double whole grilled onions and chilies on the side
So to the worker who gave me 10 cups of chilies instead of 4
, i was taking a stroll and smoking a joint.
during my walk, a in and out caught my eye, so i put out my joint and walked in and stepped in line.
while i was looking at my phone, i heard the cashier cut off the customer ordering and say “i just want you to know im not taking your order and you need to leave”.
i was taken aback and wondered what the guy did wrong. nonetheless i just continued to wait in line. shortly after continuing to just look at my phone, the atmosphere felt unusually quiet/awkward so i looked up and i noticed everyone in line was glancing over at me and the employee, a teenage male who, not to be rude, seemed very nerdy/righteous, was staring at me.
“Did you hear me?” the employee continued, looking straight at me.
“I- excuse me?” i let out, taken aback.
“We have the right to refuse service to anyone, and i’m refusing you service. Goodbye!” the cashier replied in an extremely rude/snarky tone.
i gasped.
“And why is that? i’ve done nothing but walk in and stand in line!” I exasperated.
“We don’t like to serve junkies here” the cashier replied while waving his hand over his nose, insinuating that i reek of weed.
i was lost for words.
“that’s insane, this is california for crying out loud” the customer that had been ordering exclaimed, defending me.
“this isn’t your concern sir” the cashier stated.
“well actually, it is! it is because i’m here trying to order my dinner and you’re causing a scene about someone smelling like WEED in california! jesus christ!” the customer went on.
“well now im refusing you service aswell. please leave before i call the police.” the cashier said to him.
“and that goes for you aswell.” the cashier said to me.
“this is bullshit!” the customer yelled before furiously storming out of the store.
i was still in shock so i just stood there, staring at him.
“Okay then, looks like you’ve made your choice”’the cashier said snarkily as he picked up the phone, threatening he was going to call 911.
“wow” i muttered under my breath as i turned around and left.
what should i do about this? i just can’t believe i was turned away for this in southern California right by LA itself.
im positive im not the only stoned customer in and out has ever had. what the fuck .
People are always posting pictures of their delicious looking burgers that have been customized. Maybe we can encourage people to also show the receipt or list what the order was? I just learned you can order WHOLE grilled onions here and I keep seeing other burgers that look good, but I have no idea how I would order it.
Animal style fries 🍟
Went to in n out today and the bun was more light in color and looked a little softer than usual. Anyone else notice this?
I just saw a pic from someone’s onion post and theirs looked the same too.
I love how efficient they are at getting my food out . Even with a line out the door and a line all the way around the block! Didn't have to wait long. Had so much I couldn't finish it all! Where do I get one of those safety pins they wear on their aprons?
I know In N Out use fresh potatoes for their french fries and the top half is fresh but the bottom half, I always seem to get the old greasy scraps.
Has anyone done this? Ive seen youtube videos but I want to bring a bunch in bulk when I move. Should I put them in vacuum bags and in a cooler? Would it be better to fly with them?
Anyone have any recommendations, tips, tricks, recipes or preferred buns, cheese brand etc to attempt to get a hint of what you get from the real deal. Other Burgers just don’t hit you the way a fresh double double does.
I typically do a double double animal style add whole grilled. (Yes, onions 2 ways.)
Animal fries with the patty on top and a 3x3 all woth chopped raw and chilies on the burger… my double double didn’t make it to the photo shoot!!
Also got my pal a pack of INO pencils and that cute pen for myself. I had been saving up for this this gift to my excellent neighbors. The sale was legit on the store!
I have these in black, they are so cozy.
The pencil is a basic #2 but really light in the hand.
The burger pen, not pictured is cute but feels a bit kitschy. I thought the burger up top lit up, it does not haha. Clean ballpoint pen otherwise.
Had my first yesterday 1-30-25, she said shed tell her SM about me for the second interview.
So uh... how long does that take? I really want this job, i am PASSIONATE. I haven't received the email yet. Albeit its only been a day, but like I said I am passionate and I really want the job!
Stressin' ova hya :C
Hi I was wondering for those who work the grill, how do you do your carmalized onions? Like what temp is your flattop at, do you use oil or butter, and do you just use salt and pepper? I’m just wondering cuz I work in a kitchen and wanted to do a copycat of them for some patty melts
How do you guys eat your in n out? Fri
My order was delayed they forgot double cheese and then waited too long. It was worth it. Morning fast food hits different. I panicked got a call from work accident happened off campus panicked half way eating my fries. Did didn’t involve me going early so I’m all chill eating the fries. They were bomb. P.S. Old person got hit by car.
I’ve been working here for like 7 months now 5 days a week (part time) I’m guessing it would be best to let them know in advance, also is there anything else you have to do if you’re going to be gone for an extended period?
The order: double single, raw onion, no spread, sub ketchup, no tomatoes, add chopped chilis. The fries get black pepper and some vinegar from the sport peppers. Iced tea with extra lemons.
Ordered a 2x3, animal fries, and a coke. After waiting in line for about 5-10 minutes I pull up to the first window and nobody is there. I pull up to the second window and they ask me if I want ketchup and just hand me my food. I told her they didn’t charge me at the previous window. She thanked me atleast 3 times for doing “the right thing”
Am I stupid ? What would you have done?
Is this on the lower end of in n outs prices?
Where I live we don't have Ino but of course you know we still see the hype on youtube. Is shakeshack/5guys anything similar or naww ???
I pretty much know all the years of the shirts that I have except for this one. So if anyone out there can help out that would be awesome. Thank you.
Got some Nighthawks vibes for sure
