These games are some of my favorites. They're all in my top 20 favorite games of all time at least. Bloodborne is probably my favorite game of all time as well. What do you guys think of these games? (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro)
My example is Battle Brothers. Tactical turn based RPG, the story basically amounts to: Your leader just died and you got a field promotion to the leader of a small, poor mercenary squad. What do you do next?
I LOVE that kind of shit. Let me make my own story, I hate getting interrupted to be served up some special scenario where I have to win to progress. Really removes all the investment I have in a game if I know victory is assured or the game stops and waits for me to succeed.
I imagine I already know most of these games, and I'm bored anyway since INTP brain means you (likely) have an insatiable lust for novelty and new experiences, but I want to hear suggestions anyway.
Also I already have hundreds of hours into Rimworld, I recommend any INTP gamer look into this if you relate to my post at all. I will take good mod recommendations though. I have ~200 but always looking for ones good enough to push their way into my mod list!
PS: I am not a fan of Kenshi. I know that fits here, but I tried it and did not enjoy that. THe level of polish and functionality was just too low for me, personally. I know plenty of people that are obsessed with the game.
I tried streaming a handful of times but struggle to always say my thoughts out loud. Always keeping cool and rationalizing my way to victory. Especially in difficult games. Which I feel is boring for viewers to watch. Do any of you stream successfully, or make let's plays?
I have no one to play Destiny 2 with and meeting someone who I know is INTP would be cool.
I recently got into Portal Knights, about a month ago. I was super obsessed with it for weeks and put a lot of time into it. Now I finally beat the Hollow King so there’s not too much left of the regular game. I did get the elves and rifts and rogues DLC but haven’t really gotten into that yet. Mainly I’ve just been doing events as they come up and trying to build up my base I started on a vacant island. I’ve also been playing around in creative mode. I love looking at the epic things other people build, but I haven’t really been able to build much. I guess I don’t give it enough time. Anyone here have any epic builds?
This game. Friend brought me to it. It cost 16€ in sales, but it totally worth it. I had in mind that you can refund on steam until 2played hours. After 10hour session wanted to make it 20 in one day, but luckily friend stopped me so we could get some sleep. Played from morning, friend joined at noon and played until evening. 30hours in 3days.
Game is about building vehicle that transports you and your new glowy rock to checkpoint. Glowy rocks give you new tech (new parts, like better wheels, more energy, motors, wings). Usags of items is infinite, just tech and power can stop you, but exploring more and more brings you new tach and energy points. Rock comes in all sizes, the bigger the more fun, the deeper the more fun, the higher kind of fun (planes and helicopter are f*cking hard to build), in the middle of vulcano, hmm well impossible.
It's about creativity, exploring, nice graphics, automation, multiplayer.
Anyone play on PC?
Nothing else needs to be said, basically infinite knowledge, cool Cthulhu aesthetic, no people, what’s not to love?
Does somebody here play warframe? I know it's a multiplayer game, but it can be played solo as well.
But I haven't noticed the squad icon and started a mission, somebody joined my team. He talked to me, so I replied nicely. We started talking about stuff, played some missions together and talked about personal life... I mean it was nice I felt like I got a friend, but I haven't heard from him, not like that I would want, just wondering.
Ti: Let's find a point to this game, preferably a logical sequence that can be satisfactorily solved
Ne: Let's explore every damn thing and find all the new experiences!
-- after some time --
Ti: I have solved everything I can, and I am now bored.
Ne: There aren't that many new experiences any more.
Si: Hold on guys! We like this game, remember!? All the fun times we had! Let's look back on those and try to find more fun out of it!
Fe: mrrmrmrrr, something something emotions, connections!
Ti: Sigh. All this is true, but at the same time, we are done.
Si, Fe: Nuuu!!! Ne: Hold on maybe I can still--!!
Ti intensifies: I am no longer allowing us to have any fun in this game. Goodbye game.
Does anyone here play For Honor? im looking for some sparring mates and people to just mess around with
I like that you can continuously build and improve systems.. anyone else?
So yea obtained a switch and now I'm addicted to botw. I can just run around ignoring main questd to explore and cook. Anyway I'm looking to add ppl for other games like smash ult. Drop them Friend codes!!!
Title, lookin for similar minded people to play some siege with.
Title really... see if other INTP's are nearby and/or general discussion!
Personally I spent more time watching dota than playing it, but still did 600+ hrs ingame. Did LoL earlier. In both games from my experience it's mostly a decided match with one player's input being completely irrelevant to the score because the whole team's performance and cooperation matter most and it's the matchmaking system which decides the team's composition. I sometimes found comments/post with other people agreeing that the matchmaking systems rig the games but they always get cursed at by the typical toxic community.
I play games like cs-go, pubg, and Killing Floor 2, if you want to add me here is the link to my profile https://steamcommunity.com/id/theshoresofRileyReidsasshole/
keep in mind that i have little to no filter and i find most offensive things funny. other than that i dont really know what else to put down.
Factorio.
Logical systems architecture.
What could be better for an INTP?
I've seen multiple discords made on this site for INTPs die out almost immediately after being made (probably because we aren't the most social type out of the bunch) so I've decided to invite you guys to my discord because there would probably be more interactions between INTPs if they were kick-started by a different person/type. If any of you actually do join DM me (AnotherDolphin) and ill give you the INTP role https://discord.gg/nVCr4z
I got Bloodborne a few months back and I haven't really played it all that much. I got to the third boss bit didn't beat him yet and I feel like I'm not givig the game enough of a chance but then there isn't much making me want to go back for more so I thought I should get your opinions on the game.
EDIT: Any tips on defeating the boss would be appreciated.
I like playing Nintendo’s NES Tetris, and an Android game called Falling Lightblocks, and NullpoMino. Open to other clones. If anyone’s interested in playing multiplayer and/or starting play together and comparing scores, hit me up with a private message!
