HyperX cloud alpha wireless

Is there a way to disable it controlling windows volume on pc and just lower the volume on the headset itself? I love this headset games are either to loud or quiet D:

Cloud Flight S headset turning off when charged.

Hello!

I know this topic has been asked about before, but even with my searching I have not seen a solution posted. Or really any more information on what would be causing the issue.

My current headset has been recently turning off when the headset is not actually dead. It will not give any indication that it is turning off or that is it turning off due to low battery. This headset is over 2 years old and I normally charge it on a wireless charging pad if that matters. I am assuming this issue could be due to the age of the headset, but I have seen some post where a year old headset has this problem. As far as I am aware the firmware is up to date. Any one know what the problem is that causes it to randomly shut off?

I completely understand if this is a situation where the headset just needs to be replaced due to age. But I wanted to see if there were any solutions to try for this issue.

Should I get the wireless Cloud 3?

I have a set of wired Cloud 2's that I've been using for 5-6 years now and they've worked well the whole time I've had them. But I will say after all those years I could do without an annoying wire in my way and getting caught under my chair. Do you guys think getting the wireless Cloud 3 is a good idea? Or would anyone know if there might be a wireless Cloud 4 on the horizon and I should just wait to get that instead?

Ngenuity using over 40 GB of RAM

Alloy Origin keyboard. Windows 10. Ngenuity app from Microsoft store.

Two issues noted:

  1. Keyboard randomly turns off all lights, typing is interrupted.
  2. Memory leak, over 40 GB used.

Terminate the app, no problems with the keyboard. Although it only uses the default rainbow wave.

I do not recall this issue happening previously. Intel 14900K, 192 GB Corsair RAM, Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Master X motherboard w/ updated BIOS. Windows is also updated.

Need help setting up audio on wireless cloud III’s

I’m trying to replicate the audio from my wired cloud II’s with 7.1 OFF.

I’m not a fan at all of the heavy bass sound effects on everything. I downloaded Ngenuity but I’m not sure what I need to do to replicate the sound from my old headset.

For example, I play Valorant and with the heavy bass-y sounds I have trouble even telling where people exactly are. Had no issue with this using the wired Cloud II’s with 7.1 off.

cloud alpha headset hurts ear

i’ve had this headset for over a year now and it has always caused me problems with my right ear. It’s not the outer ear cartilage that hurts but rather whenever I wear it for a couple hours I have sharp pain inside my right ear, and only ever my right ear. if i remove the headset it goes away fairly quickly, but touching my ear for awhile still sends sharp pain inside. has anyone else had an issue like this? i’m just very confused since i’ve never had this problem with my left ear or with any other headset

Ngenuity software keeps telling me to restart PC...

I have the HyperX Cloud III wired headset. My PC is connected, via HDMI cable, to my Sony A/V Home Theatre receiver, but use the headset via the USB port on my PC for gaming. The Ngenuity software/app has greyed out the DTS Surround feature, telling me I need to restart my PC to enable it.

Well, I've restarted my PC dozens of times over the past few weeks, and I'm STILL having this issue. I get sound, and I have both Dolby and DTS codecs installed on my PC, and a few different Dolby and DTS codecs in my A/V receiver, which I update when required, so the firmware/codecs on both my PC and A/v receiver are all current.

Since I don't use Ngenuity on my home theatre, the surround works fine. If I'm using my headphones (mentioned above), I can still use Dolby For Headphones. I just shut down Ngenuity and use my PC's sound setup. I've uninstalled and re-installed

But, I'd still like to know what is wrong with Ngenuity not letting me use it's DTS Surround software. I use an Intel MB, 128GB system RAM, AMD Adrenaline GPU (6700XT, 12GB videocard). I don't have a seperate soundcard, as the video and audio pass through the videocard. My headset and software were working fine up until about 2 weeks ago, and now I can't use Ngenuity's DTS surround.

Exactly how many times DO I have to restart my PC for the DTS feature in Ngenuity to start working again?

Cloud III Update not possible as I don't have USB-C ports

My PC doesn't have USB-C ports so I can't plug in the recommended cable to install the newest firmware updates..

Has there been a update for the audio drivers yet for the Cloud II yet?

So its been about 2 months now I think when the last audio driver update completely disabled a majority of people's hyperx devices including mine and I still haven't been able to find any updates on it. I keep checking Ngenuity everyday to see of an update comes out but nothing. I'd really hate to go and buy a new headset since this one still works fine, it just needs a new update. Has anyone found a solution to this or am I screwed?

Alternatives to Cloud II? Should I buy the Cloud III?

The hinge of my cloud II (wired) has broken for the second time, the first cloud II I bought in 2022 and after a year I had to ask Amazon for warranty. It's been 6 months and the same thing has happened again, cracked hinges. I have never dropped them or treated them badly, I just use them a lot (work plus videogames), should I buy another cloud II, should I try the clouds III, or is there any other headset you can recommend?

The sound and mic quality is amazing, and I don't have room for a spare mic, so I need a headset.

HyperX Quadcast not working anymore

My microphone suddenly stopped working one day about several months ago from now. Haven't got the time to find a solution for it until now, hehe.

It no longer lights up, it shows up on my laptop as "USB cannot be detected" and such, and even tried it on my friend's pc and it still doesn't work. It's sort of dead, to sum it up.

I can't find the warranty for it but it has been with me for over two years so I doubt the warranty is still valid. Is there a way for me to get it fixed? I miss my buddy, Mike the microphone :(

HyperX Quadcast recognized as USB Advanced Audio Device and input gain is very high

Hello
My Hyperx quadcast is being recognized as USB Advanced Audio Device, and also the input volume and gain are drastically high and quality has been reduced.

I've already searched for solutions in threads and I think the mic firmware is corrupted somehow. I did find a solution in this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqjJ6oqhkGA and this basically flashes the firmware back to the mic. But my microphone again turns to USB Advanced Audio Device after a week of usage somehow. I'm not sure how that can happen.

P.S. My mic is out of 1 year warranty and I'm based in India and I wasn't able to find any direct support options here. Help required for a permanent fix.

I live in nordic country and when I look at the websites that sell keycaps they are mostly different layout is there anyone know where can I find nordic layout keycaps for 60% keyboard.

Cloud 3 Wired headphones not working, but only *sometimes*

Title. I got mine 3 weeks ago, and a week after purchasing they suddenly had a drastic decrease in volume. Then the next day it was almost completely silent, and 2 days later it was quieter than normal, the raised back to normal volume. It is infuriating to deal with and I can't think of any potential issues. Drivers are updated, cords are fine, and usb ports are fine.

Cloud 3 Performance

I recently bought a Cloud 3 for gaming (Rainbow Six - fps) and I choose to go with the Cloud 3 because few years back the Cloud 2 was in my Wishlist, so I taught the next generation would be an improvement.

Having played more than 70 matches with it I feel quit underwhelmed with the sound quality, it lacks depth and sometimes I cant recognize which direction the sound is coming from. Is it because I need to mess with the settings in the NGEUNITY software? if so what settings should i change? or its just an issue this version has?

Should I return it and get a Cloud 2 instead?

Volume button only reduces

My hyperx cloud wireless headphones work just fine but touching the volume scroll wheel only causes a reduction in volume.

Mic Monitoring not working or too quiet to hear

I just bought the HyperX cloud 3 headset the other day, I've been trying for multiple hours to try and get the mic monitoring to do something so that I can actually hear what I am saying while in discord voice chats. Nothing I have done has made any difference. I turned it on in the Ngenuity software and everything, made sure the headset is default input/output on windows, and I still don't know why I cant hear any difference compared to when mic monitoring is turned off. I really would like to be able to hear myself speak because I have a tough time gauging how loud I am talking when I cant hear what I am saying.

some buttons not always registering on alloy origins core

hello everyone, I have a problem with by alloy origins core: when I press t and h buttons, they are not always registering (even this post I typed hard). This is not a software nor pc problem & I didn't spill anything on it. How do I fix it? I tried to clean it, blow into switches, but nothing helps.

Hyperx Orgins alloy issue.

I recently spilled cola on my hyperx keyboard, and i waited it for to dry out, i cleaned it, and now the caps lock and shift key is showing a red led and every led is not showing any rgb, and also including that, the thing where it shows if u have caps lock and num lock, 3 of those things are flashing, does anyone have a fix?

Can you turn off bass on wireless cloud 3’s similar to wired cloud 2’s?

On the cloud 2’s you can turn off the bass through the attachment on the wire. Employee at Best Buy was unsure if you can turn it off on wireless cloud 3’s and I couldn’t find anything online for it.

Hyperx alloy fps doesn't work but turns it's lights on

That's pretty much it, I plug it into my laptop and it doesn't work, I can't type anything but lights work and windows recognizes it. I tried everything, searched for drivers, restarted it, installed NGENUITY and there is no support for my model.
