A patient, enthusiastic and talented artist. I hope to work with him again some day.
/u/art_kalcyfer was so easy to work with. She was quick to respond and listened to any and all details I had for my request. My whole experience with her was so easy from start to finish and I would 100% hire her again!
I hired u/FelixAndc to draw a portrait of my wife's dog, who had passed on. Prices were as advertised, and he delivered an amazing work within a week of hiring. He kept me updated throughout the process, and ensured that we were happy with the work. He also took the time to make minor edits at our request promptly. The work looks so much like the original photo, of course with his personal touches. I would highly recommend him if you are looking to hire someone to create a sketch/portrait of your pet!
3 things about her that make her an amazing artist to work with
I had another illustration made by them for a gift and safe to say they did not disappoint (yet again). They were very accommodating for my wants for the piece and was able to turn all my yaps into something amazing.
I'm a bit indecisive but I'm glad they were understanding throughout the process.
Highly recommend their work. Would commission again!
Seems like I'm not the first one to to post about her today but I also just got back some work from her!
Today I received the 3 works I commissioned from u/itstu_art, I'm working on some custom magic the gathering card for my girlfriend's cats and asked her to create the artwork for them. I'm very happy with the results and so excited to share them with my girlfriend. u/itstu_art kept me updated the whole time and gave me examples of her progress so I could comment if I wanted anything changed. This was my first time commissioning a piece from reddit which was a bit stressful with all the seemingly scam accounts contacting me but her updates made me feel good about the process.
I definitely recommend her!
I recently contacted u/noiseartwork to comission a drawing for me, I am very happy with the job they did, not only is the drawing very good, but they provided several versions such as full colour/simple colours , transparent background as well as the original PSD file too. They were happy to work with my to make the artwork exactly as I wanted, and made alterations too along the way. The price was 40USD total, in 2 installments which i think is very reasonable, plus they even draw a sketch before I sent the first payment which is commendable.
Artist u/itstu_art will blow you away. I'm not joking I hired her to do a book cover for me and I couldn't believe how she took my bland idea and made it jump off the page.
She also isn't ridiculously over priced where others wanted a insane amount for my simple idea. That said her work is quality because she puts a part of herself into the project.
Also the patience of a saint even if you need things like something resized or moved a little bit she has no problem doing it. Always an up beat attitude which helps with the stressful process.
I highly highly recommend their work. I plan on hiring her again for my next book and we can go on an adventure again.
Obviously I’m not able to use their actual username since they likely change it between commissions.
But there’s an “artist” who goes by multiple discord usernames, but all of it goes to the same PayPal account.
Basically, if their PayPal name is HSK Prime (or HSK Prime LLC), this is a scam. Do not pay for anything with this scammer.
Just a heads up. Wasn’t sure if this is the best place to post it, but seems like r/commissions, artcommisions, hungryartists, etc won’t let you post anything that isn’t a hiring/for hire post.
The artists/commission subreddits here have helped me connect with so many wonderful artists, and u/puputepu (@kechap) has been one of my favorites to work with.
For any works that focus on the detail in eyes in particular, this artist is so skilled with lighting and making eyes look pretty.
They’re also great with drawing faces that resemble references but still with the artist’s touch. Most of all, this artist is willing to work with you to fine tune the work to fit your needs.
1000% would recommend this artist, definitely yet another artist I’m adding to my repeat order list!
I am trying to write a sci fi book and part of this process absolutely does not play to my strengths. I couldn't visualize the ship that was a key point in my story, so I decided one way to solve this problem was to collaborate with an artist to help me see my vision. U/foxtail777 did just that!! He was easy to work with and got me exactly what I needed. Thanks so much!!!
This was my first time commissioning art from Reddit and I couldn’t be happier!! He consistently provided updates and gave dates for when the next one would be. A very reliable artist who I trusted throughout the whole process. He also happily changed a detail for me on one of my pieces and always made sure I was happy with the direction he was going in. The skill is also incredibly impressive. The details in my pieces are phenomenal, and I can’t wait to have them hung up. I can’t recommend joestrelay enough!!!
I’ve met very few artists that are able to accurately translate subjects/references into the cartoon/semi-real style that I need.
Willing to work with the client to refine the work until it’s perfect.
Definitely has a solid grasp of how to draw faces, good lighting, and texture. 1000% going to be a regular client of this artist. I can’t speak highly enough of their work!
Willing to work with me to fine tune the art, always has done a good job, is already someone I go to for multiple commissions.
Def an artist that will not disappoint
The map is too large to include. I had a map made by a guy in Inkarnate and realized I would like it to be made for real. /U/artistic_carol was one of the many who reached out. I gave her the time frame of a month and she was very receptive to revisions as the map came together. She was very consistent with updates, normally giving me one every 6-7 days. Overall I'm happy with how the piece turned out
I posted in r/commissions looking for someone to make me this piece and u/blush_creationss reached out. She was not only so incredibly sweet but was able to create exactly what I asked for. She immediately got started and had the piece to me within two hours. She was absolutely fantastic!!!
Just received a completed piece from him and he was very patient with the changes I asked for. He was also great at incorporating the reference images that I sent. Quick turnaround too. Recommended! u/AeonKanor
I just wanted to take a moment to both thank and compliment the amazing artist u/Draakowl
She was able to create a stunning image of a mythological creature that will be featured in my book (due in early February 2025). She was easy to work with, incredibly fast, and most importantly, she showed her creative process. If you need great artwork for your project, do not hesitate to contact her.
Respectfully,
Corum

Both took what I believed to be a difficult commission and overdelivered on my expectations. Would recommend!
Hi,
Just wanted to thx again u/foxtail777 for his work for my Discord's Emoji commission !
I wanted an living beer with not to much detail (it look messy under message otherwise)
That was a 18 emot' commission and all are great !
Edit (I've try to resize but reddit keep making a very big picture for some reason..)
Superlative commission experience overall. Dotr was very communicative, understanding and delivered an awesome piece in a timely manner.
Recently commissioned this artist for a drawing of my D&D character, they were pleasant to work with and super accommodating for any changes I made. I heavily recommend them for any D&D or heavy machinery you may want drawn. My favorite artwork I've received for any commission. They have an incredibly unique and fun artstyle on top of all that. 10/10
They were very open to communication throughout the commission process, providing updates and responding to inquiries in a timely manner. They're also an incredibly talented artist who anyone would benefit from commissioning!
I needed some concept art done and they delivered in all regards
Last week I hired u/inknsync for an art commission after they had impressed me with their (alleged) portfolio. Last night they sent me the first draft and I immediately noticed that something was off. I've commissioned artists for over a decade and have seen my share of "bad" first drafts (which then turned out wonderfully after some alterations and refinement). What I received from u/inknsync was unlike any first draft I had ever seen before—it displayed a lack of understanding of anatomy and body proportions that was clearly present in what they had alleged to be their past work, and while this would have been understandable if it had been a very rough sketch, what they sent me was too developed and detailed. Given the portfolio they had shown me, I simply cannot believe that an artist of that caliber would've spent hours detailing such obvious mistakes. To me, it seemed apparent that they had traced someone else's work or traced something generated by AI to make this first draft.
I would advise users to avoid this person and save your money for artists who can do original work without having to resort to plagiarism.
I commissioned u/munchkin-exe to illustrate an OC that was vague in my mind. As this was my first time commissioning an artist, I was delighted by her friendly personality and willingness to help shape my concept into something I couldn't have imagined without her. She did an amazing job keeping me up to date with the process and made sure I was happy with it every step of the way.
