Fastest way to buy crypto

What is the best way to buy crypto, I'm pretty new to it, mainly using it to play at online casinos, the issue I am having is none of my debit cards work at any exchange, and so far the only way I found to buy it is to take money to a store to add it to my cashapp or paypal account, oh ach transfers work at exchanges but take 4 to 5 days, there's gotta be a better way to buy, does anyone know of any places that you can use as a buffer, use your debit card to load money then buy crypto with it, seams like that's what cash app and PayPal do but they get declined to add money by debit card as well. I'm not sure how crypto is so popular or I'm missing somthing, it's not private every place wants a kyc and not to mention the fees to send to someone for payment, it's just not making sense or I am missing somthing any help is greatly appreciated

How to DCA into Bitcoin

Hey guys,

I leave this article here. It`s all about an automation of your Bitcoin investment by DCA-ing into a non-custodial wallet of your choice. Maybe I can help some of you with that.

If you have any questions or feedback please let me know.

Edit: This isn`t any scam ^^

i have been reading other post from other communities and the rule is to keep your coins in cold storage.... that's easy...but someone said you can also keep coins in a hot wallet on your phone... that's not so easy... what's a hot wallet and why have two wallets for your coins

KYC will destroy your privacy buy decentralized

https://kycnot.me

For even more privacy avoid JavaScript mandatory sites as JS can be used to track you.

Use Tor if convenient. Bisq's app already uses Tor.

Use it especially if buying bitcoin is illegal for some reason as private companies know your IP just from visiting them, and your data falling into a bad government could mean trouble. Tor is basically a open-source decentralized VPN.

Best Coinbase Alternative To Buy Bitcoin

Another place to purchase Bitcoin is none other than the exchange platform called Gemini. Gemini was created by the Winklevoss twins (who created ConnectU where the ideas from that platform were allegedly stolen by Mark Zuckerberg for Facebook).

Gemini acts as a mobile wallet and focuses on all the top cryptocurrencies that have strong utility and value to customers. Other than Doge which they recently added this year, you won't find meme or rug pull coins on this platform.

It's very simple to buy Bitcoin on this platform. All you need is a debit card, Google Play, or a Checking Account. Instant funding is available and you can withdraw your Bitcoin to other wallets with no problem. For those who got their Coinbase account closed or banned, this is a great alternative.

You can learn more about the Gemini platform here:

Today seems to be an important day in order to take cryptos as their real use and not as an asset:

The U.S. bipartisan infrastructure bill with the potentially industry crippling crypto tax provisions appears to be headed to a vote in the Senate this Tuesday.

Senate negotiations regarding the crypto provisions finished without any new amendments being added to the bill, meaning the bill will be voted on in its original form. The provisions will impose broad third-party reporting requirements on any crypto firm deemed to be a “broker.” The vague wording of the text could potentially be assigned to multiple actors across the crypto sector including miners, stakers, software developers and network validators. It’s still technically possible that the Senate could pass a crypto-friendly amendment to the bill, however, it would have to be by unanimous consent before the final vote and this appears unlikely due to procedural time constraints as well as the need for any changes to be made up in other ways in terms of tax revenue collected. It is also super important to note that the bill would still need to go to the House of Representatives where further changes could be made.

Nice case study about "Amazon rumors about Bitcoin sent the crypto market on a rollercoaster". Good to see that social media interactions move crypto prices, even fake news

by the way, Crowdsense's premium plan is currently available for FREE for only a limited amount of subscribers

Crypto weekly review + outlook from crowdsense

  • BTC-USD is down around 4% over the past week and the pair has continued its sideways movement around the $30k support handle that remains a crucial level to focus on in the coming weeks.

What I needed to hear in this bear market...

This is exactly what I needed to hear in this bear market after losing way too much money in the recent drop. I usually dont watch videos like this but this one got to me and I will (hopefully) never do this mistake again.

Here is the video that helped me realize my mistake: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lm-OV3Vt1Tc

This was posted when BTC was at 60k USD so I think he has been around for a while

Is Snapcraft.io a safe enough way of installing the bisq p2p exchange program on Ubuntu Mate?

I tried unsuccessfully to install bisq in Ubuntu Mate by downloading it from https://bisq.network/downloads/

Then I googled:

install bisq ubuntu mate

...and this was one of the results:

https://snapcraft.io/bisq-desktop

It worked this time but I'm unsure of whether this is a fully secure, legit way of installing bisq.

Is that a secure, safe enough way of installing bisq or should I try to do it this way instead:

https://bisq.network/getting-started/

"

It's also a good idea to verify your installer file to be extra sure it hasn't been meddled with. See the videos here for directions. More details are in this wiki article.

"

I could try to answer my own questions but I want advice because I keep saying I'm going to buy crypto but then putting it off.

Bitcoin exchange withdrawal strategy

Motivated by Binance's outrageous withdrawal fees I put together a simple website that lays out a strategy that can save you some (or lots of!) sats and will also hopefully prevent people from just leaving small amounts in the exchange due to those high withdrawal fees.

https://bilthon.github.io/withdrawal-strategy/

Disclaimer: The links at the bottom of that website do contain referral codes. But you're not required to use them. You can just google those services by yourself or remove the referral code from the URL. If you found the information useful however, I'd appreciate you do keep them there.

PS: The website looks shit in mobile, I know. It was just a weekend project. I'll add better mobile support depending on the feedback.

Backtesting for BTC trading signals

I have a prototype that gives algorithmic backtesting for trading signals specifically for Bitcoin, and I'm looking for a total of 100 users that are interested in giving their feedback.

So far I've been able to produce:

  1. Backtesting results
  2. P/L chart (similar to pic but chart coloring/style might be adjusted/polished)
  3. maximum drawdown
  4. annual return
  5. volatility of the strategy from the backtested results, and
  6. a signal each day for the limit entry price, limit exit price, and a stop-loss price.

Would anyone be interested in trying out this backtesting service for Bitcoin?

Attn mods: I checked the sidebar rules and made sure to go through them well, so I don't think I've violated any of the rules.
