Looking for a large inaugural season jersey!
Jake whips out the old jersey
We made it boys. Worst case secenario is 2nd and it feels great. That being said I see a huge opportunity to win this series. I believe in us!
I know I am partially to blame as I also don't post here, but I rarely post submit posts anywhere on Reddit, but this is the first season of OWL where our team are definitive contenders to win the league and yet this subreddit is deader than it has ever been.
Did people just lose interest when we went full Korean? Did we lose a lot of fans when Danteh left?
I love Danteh and Jake and will always cheer for them whatever they do moving forward in their lives/careers, and was absolutely sad to see both of them move on.
That being said, this team is fucking STACKED.
I could not have been more happy with how the organization built this roster. Even Gargoyle as a late addition had me giddy as he was great the small playing time he had with Florida.
And despite the high expectations, Bischu and Junk have got these guys clicking so well that they are meeting those expectations far and above any team not from Atlanta (also an amazingly stacked roster)
Is anyone else still subscribed here as damn excited as I am?
Is anyone still here?
Has anybody heard of new signings for the Outlaws? As of now what do they need? Do they have a complete team to compete or are they short a member or two?
With the announcement of Jake retiring from the Overwatch League in any form of esports role, it wasn't surprising to me but still sad to hear as a fan of this eSport from the beginning of 2017-18. He's been one of the most influential and outstanding individuals to represent western eSports both as a player and as a coach, and though his impact may not be as legendary here in Overwatch as Super it is still powerful for us who play this game. We will certainly miss his presence with the Outlaws from hereon. Though the names will change, and they will certainly change for next season, the legacies of some of our founding players of the Outlaws like Jake will remain with us.
Thank you Jake for all that you have done not just in Overwatch and Overwatch eSports, but in the eSports scene in general as one of the great figures to grace the stage.
Once an Outlaw, always an Outlaw.
I can’t believe we’re losing Jake and Danteh.
Recent rumors from leakers said the Outlaws will go full Korean in 2023. Thoughts?
I would say vigilante
With rosters starting to move around, who are some players (veterans or rookies) you believe the Outlaws should go after?
Personally as well as Danteh played in the Tank role, getting a true starting tank player is a must this off season. Would love to see us go after someone like Void or Fearless.
Curious to hear your thoughts
