Seen this place in the Katy area and was wondering what’s a good beer? I know it’s all their brand but I’m wondering if anyone can recommend something similar to a dos equis , bud Light , modelo , micholob ultra or anything not too citrusy or hoppy ? I’d be glad to know someone’s favorite beer to get :)
I’m hosting a pierogi making party this weekend and looking to get some polish beers for my friends to try, haven’t been able to find any anywhere. Does anyone know where I could buy some?
I was told by a Costco employee at the Cypress location that they can’t carry the Kirkland lager made my Deschutes because of Texas law. Is this true? If so, I’m surprised since Costco carries Kirkland-branded wines. I’ve noticed it wasn’t at two other Costcos in the area, either.
Any bottle shops in Katy that have a good variety of St Arnold beer? Specifically Elissa.
For anyone interested, it looks like they're trying to move this post seasonal variety. Not a huge deal but pretty darn good for any quality beer at that price. Beer section on the ground (35 six packs).
Noticed 8th Wonder deleted their instagram, let’s get the rumors going. Possibly selling?
I've been hoping for a re-release of Sailing Santa for years. I heard legend that it was a bottled version of the common taproom request of a 50/50 mix of Elissa IPA and Christmas Ale. I think when they bottled it, they added a few extra Christmas spices, which were nice. I'd love to know what those were so I can really recreate the beer. Though, it's not always easy to find Elissa IPA in Austin.
I was wondering if anyone from this lovely community had any insight on whether or not Saint Arnold is planning on releasing their old fashion beer again. It was amazing and I miss it dearly. Cheers!
Was looking for Yule Shoot Your Eye Out at HEB and didn’t see it. Went looking online at Specs, Total Wine, and Twin Liquors - also out of stock! Anybody know?
I haven’t seen this in the grocery stores this year nor Costco where I picked up a case last year…. It’s probably my favorite seasonal brew.
Where can I go in Houston to drink some European beers that isn’t flying saucer? I’m all for the local craft scene, but occasionally I like some of the old tried and true stuff. Any suggestions?
My parents live less than two miles from Fortress Brewing so we were excited a few years back to see something opening close by for when we are visiting from Austin. Unfortunately, the beer and atmosphere were never really our thing...Has anyone been since 11 Below took over? I admittedly have never had an 11 Below beer that I can recall but their lineup of lagers and clear pales/hoppy are up my alley. We occasionally make it into town for Equal Parts/Saint Arnold/True Anomaly or others if time allows, but I am hopeful for something in addition to Thistle for a nearby beer or two when in Spring.
Is Frost Town brewing in trouble or up for sale? Ownership now seems to be a real estate company.
are there any breweries in Houston that do a brew-your-own beer experience? hoping to set this up as a Christmas gift for my father in law. Thanks!
