Podcast ideas

I’m thinking of making radio episodes featuring hour-man. I’ll try to create them to be like the old timey radio shows. Any ideas or suggestions on villains/storylines. I think clock king and Kronos for time themed villians, in a 1920s-50s settings with stories from those times.

Reading Recommendations for Hourman II (Rick Tyler)

  • JSA #33-37 - Stealing Thunder

This is the first story arc where Rick first appears in the JSA title. While he is not the main protagonist of the story, he still plays a big part of it

  • JSA #38 - Father's Day

It is Father's Day and Rick decides to travel to the inter-dimensional timefield where he meets his soon-to-be dead father. Rex and Rick has a heart-to-heart conversation about what it means to be Hourman

  • JSA: All Stars #5 - An Hour at a Time

Rick foresees the future where a man tries to commit suicide. As he tries to prevent this from happening, he must also face his addiction

  • JSA #65-66 - Out of Time!

This is arguably the best Hourman story of all time. All three Hourmen gets to shine, in one way or another. Rick tries to change his Father's destiny, by sacrificing himself. Will he succeed? Read and find out

  • JSA #68-72 - JSA/JSA

The JSA of today must travel back in time and to try to convince their predecessors to once again don their masks and stop Degaton's insidious plan.

  • JSA All-Stars (2010) #2-11 - Liberty Belle/Hourman: The Secret Power Of The Artifact

It's a neat little adventure with Hourman and his wife, Liberty Belle. I think this story does a better job at showcasing Rick and Jesse's marriage than the Justice Society (2007) title

  • JSA: Classified #17-18 - The Venom Connection

Hourman must team up with Bane to combat a new type of Venom! But question is, is Bane really on Hourman's side?

  • JSA: Classified #34 - 60 Minutes

A mysterious villain has captured Liberty Belle, and Hourman has just 60 minutes to traverse the dark underworld of the DCU to find her!

I'm liking Hourman's look in the Stargirl series. I should restart the series because I don't know his full character arc.
