Hotwife Captions – 'nuff said
Hotwife Captions

After receiving messages from a few concerned members, I realized that my post from yesterday may have come across more harshly than I intended. To clarify, any content that breaks this community's rules will be removed, as is the case with any other subreddit. When removing content, we utilize Reddit's Removal Reasons to clearly indicate which rule was broken, thereby giving the OP a clear understanding of why their content was removed and a chance to remedy the situation. Further, in most cases, we also send personalized messages letting the OP know that we've removed their content, the reason why we removed it, and where applicable, any specific guidance we feel may be helpful in preventing future removals. If someone repeatedly ignores these warnings and continues blatantly posting content that breaks the rules, we would then obviously revoke their posting privileges.
Fun fact: in the past year that we've been moderating this subreddit, we have not revoked a single user's posting privileges, much less banned anyone.
As a couple who lives this lifestyle, we both know that there are as many interpretations of "the lifestyle" and ways to enjoy it as there are members in this community, and we all tend to have our own distinct preferences that are unique to each and every person and couple in one way or another. We also know well how these preferences can shift, morph, evolve, and change over time. We feel that this awareness helps us as moderators, because we do our best to remain as neutral and unbiased as possible, and to keep our own personal preferences out of our decision-making process. To that extent, we've posted a set of rules (which have not changed since the day they were posted), and we simply follow those same rules when reviewing posts. Ideally, it is our hope that everyone will do the same when posting here so that we never have to enforce them.
Further, as creators who have spent years regularly contributing our own content, we understand how difficult it can be to continually come up with new ideas and perspectives. We know how mind-numbingly boring it can be at times, recreating the same thing over and over, month after month, and year after year. We truly appreciate all our creators for all their hard work and dedication they put into all this, and we are grateful for all the original content they contribute here. With that said, we also know that you may post things from time to time that may blur the lines without intentionally crossing them. If we remove your content, please don't be offended. Think of it as a friendly peer review process, and not a slap on the wrist. With the way we have set this community up, a removal is more like a gentle nudge just to help keep things on topic.
As many of you know, my wife and I create all kinds of content, and we regularly indulge in fantasies that are way off topic for this community. We just don't post it here. We both have a healthy respect for Reddit culture, however we also both feel that so many caption communities have become melting pots and rummage piles, and we don't want that to happen here. Go have a look at all the other subreddits and notice how many of them are essentially clones/mirrors with the same people Karma farming by indiscriminately posting the same content to every single subreddit they can, and in most cases, the moderators do nothing about it.
Personal note: As a moderator, I've always cared more about integrity than analytics and dashboard numbers. I couldn't care less about how many members we have, so long as the members we do have are able to come here and find quality content without feeling like they're digging through their spam folder looking for that one important email that got lost in the mix. As a creator, I typically only post my content to my own subreddit for my fans, and to maybe one other subreddit where I feel it'll be most appreciated and best suited based on that community's niche/topic so that new people can find me.
Here at r/HotwifeCaptions, we have our own unique style. Yes, we are moderators, but we believe in curating rather than moderating. For that reason, we have a comprehensive selection process in which we thoroughly screen each prospective contributor by meticulously reviewing their profile history to assess their style, experience, and posting habits, and we hand-pick only the rare few that we feel will be the best fit for this community. In this way, we rarely have any "moderating" to do, and we mostly just get to sit back and enjoy posting with our fellow creators.
Another fun fact: out of the thousands of requests we've received (people asking for posting privileges), Karma farming (posting the same content to multiple subreddits[, even ones that have nothing to do with the content posted^([1])]) is one of the most common reasons why we deny such requests, second only to "🙄 you clearly don't even know what a Hotwife is."
In closing, please don't be afraid or hesitate to share new ideas here. Just have fun, be creative, and let the good times roll. If we have an issue with something you post, we will kindly and gently let you know.
