A place for study, discussion, and learning about horary astrology - the art of of-the-moment astrological charts used to answer specific questions.
Before you post a horary chart
Think through your question – make sure it’s clear and simple.
Cast your chart in Regiomontanus. Cast it for the place and time you understood the question being asked.
Provide context. Who is asking the question, who is involved, how do they relate to you, and what’s going on?
Attempt your own interpretation if you can. If you are not able to do so, it may be better to seek out someone to cast the chart for you.
Be prepared to give feedback. Return to your post and tell people what happened.
Bare-bones judgment steps
Choose relevant houses to find significators. Locate those planets in the chart.
Essential and accidental dignity show strength and ability to act.
Receptions show the planets' attitudes towards each other
Aspects between significators or to antiscia (by ☌ or ☍) can show events. Applying aspects show future events, separating aspects show past events. Aspects to other planets often prohibit.
Fixed stars conjunct cusps or significators and relevant Arabic Parts and their dispositors may add information.
Come to judgment.

Hey there,
I usually assign the 9th house to questions regarding a class/workshop beyond elementary school. So a random one day or one week workshop of, for example, an artistic practice, would be 9th house. Classmates would be 3rd house. However, I sometimes wonder about the teacher. Researching, I read that it's usually represented by the 9th house as well. Is that correct? And, if I know the teacher from other contexts, could I use the 7th for him/her in these questions about workshops? One example of question is: Would I like this class? Should I attend? Would I like the teacher? I sometimes ask these because I'm a teacher/student, and like to go to classes of other teachers, but they cost money/time and I want another perspective, through horary, for the decision.
Thanks a lot!
I casted this chart last week and have been sitting on it to try and get healthy distance.
I am L1 - Jupiter in Gemini, the Job is L10 - Mercury in Sagittarius. Both planets are retrograde and in mutual reception though in their signs of detriment. Jupiter is moving away from Mercury but mercury - being the faster planet - is moving to complete the opposition to Jupiter.
This opposition will come to completion before either planet turns direct though I'm not sure what to make of the fact that both planets are in detriment despite mutual reception.
Moon is also Via Combusts in Scorpio, so it's especially weakened here.
My inclination is to say No despite how promising it seems.
I have been meaning to write some short guides to basic horary principles that people have trouble with, and orbs and their effects emerge as difficult for people to understand on a fairly frequent basis. The long and short of it is orbs are important for determining if there is an aspect now, but planets which are not in orb now can enter orb and perfect aspects later. Horary is about the movement of planets. When looking for events in horary, we are primarily concerned with what happens next, not how far off it will happen.
The source I am using to define orbs is William Lilly's Christian Astrology, in which he lists the orbs of each planet extending the listed number of degrees before and after the planet, and later refers to moitie (see below) as half of that number - occupying half the radius on either side.
Orbs are areas of influence or 'auras' centred around each planet, stretching out on either side with the planet at the centre. They are usually listed by radius, i.e. how far they stretch out from one side of the planet, but occasionally their diameter, their edge-to-edge size is listed. Different scholars have suggested larger and smaller orbs for each planet, but it's pretty common to see the following:
Planet | Orb radius (diameter) |
---|---|
Saturn | 9° (18°) |
Jupiter | 9° (18°) |
Mars | 8° (16°) |
Sun | 15° (30°) |
Venus | 7° (14°) |
Mercury | 7° (14°) |
Moon | 12° (24°) |
This means that the Moon, with an orb radius of 12° has an orb diameter of (24°). If the Moon is at 15° Capricorn, it can be an aspect with any planet which is bodily between 3° and 27° of a sign it is in aspect to, like a trine to any planet in those degrees of Scorpio.
The other version is by moitie, which is common thanks to being popularised by William Lilly. Half of planet A's orb meets half of planet B's orb. In this example, the Moon at 15° Aries (with 12° orb so 6° moitie) would be conjunct Mars (with 8° orb so 4° Moitie) at 5° Aries or closer, as their moities touch.
Orbs to other objects like fixed stars, outer planets and non-physical objects like the Nodes should be kept tight - typically a degree or two. House cusps do not have orbs, but can operate in a similar way - an object close to a house cusp is more influential in that house than one far away.
A planet in aspect to another's orb is said to be influenced by that planet, and in natal astrology planets whose orbs interact are considered to be in an aspect. Some systems allow for out of sign aspects, where orb passes over to the next sign to form an aspect, but others do not, considering sign boundaries a barrier to aspects. In horary, the latter is usually more functional.
In astrology, orbs do not form firm boundaries, as they are a zone in which a planet's influence gradually dims. Close to the centre, their influence is strong, which is why exact aspects are strong. Further out, they are weaker, and beyond their orb they are considered to have a lower, but not completely insignificant, effect. This is demonstrated by the principle of beholding, in which (for example) the Moon at 29° Aries forms a beholding trine to Saturn at 0° Sagittarius, well outside of orb.
In horary, aspects by orb denote influence. A planet in aspect to another's orb is influenced by that planet, regardless of whether their aspects perfect. How close they are tells us how powerful that influence will be - near the edge of that orb, neglible but close to perfecting or perfect is strong. This is particularly useful when we see non-significator planets forming non-perfecting aspects to significators. There is an additional influence at play.
However, the key to interpreting events is planets moving to perfect aspects with one another. A planet not in orb now may be later, and if it moves to perfect an aspect - unprohibited by change of sign or another planet making an aspect first, it perfects regardless of the distance. In horary, we are concerned with planets moving to meet, not whether they are in orb at the moment the chart is cast.
It is common for a perfecting aspect to occur in a chart where the planets start in orb, as the longer planets have before they interact the more likely they are to be prohibited by another planet, but this does not stop them from happening outside of orb. While rare, it would be possible for the Moon to enter a sign, travel 29° without prohibition and meet a relevant significator, perfecting an aspect. While less stable than a closer aspect, this still has the capacity for perfection. Like any aspect, the conditions and receptions of the two planets involved inform whether it results in an event.

Feel free to ask any questions - orbs are one of those ill-defined things that differ text to text both in their number and application. Nobody is 100% certain which orbs are precisely right, but we can discuss.
If there's anything else people find difficult, leave a comment and I'll see if it's something I can do a similar post on. I don't know everything about everything, but we have some excellent astrologers on the subreddit with a great grasp of how principles were viewed historically, so it might generate some discussion.
The korean president has done something very very dangerous. And with the intervention of the army, this was nearly a coup.
Will this nutter go to jail ?
He is mars.
Which is fitting as he wants to be a war lord.
He thinks he's strong and allowed to do that he wants.
National assembly and his open enemies are venus and saturn. They're in mutual reception via exaltation and domicile.
Jupiter is soon to oppose the sun, mars dispositor. The moon which is not feeling good the citizens will make sure to get their democracy. Although he's not in a 12th house. Which represents jail, the moon that represents the 12th house is soon to aspect.
Thank you
Context: A guy I’ve been crushing on (it’s mutual based on what coworkers have told me) and I were texting on/off the last few months, I sometimes see him at work and we have great rapport but sometimes he’ll just go ghost for a week or two until we see each other again at work and he’s reaching out again. Unfortunately I do have reason to believe he has/had a gf that he lied about after workplace rumors about him liking me a lot started. Because of these rumors we kept our distance at work but would text, I’ve kept it platonic and just approached him as a friend & he did the same (with flirting here and there). I’m not gonna lie that there are feelings on my end and I’m certain on his too but we got stuck in a cycle of ghosting and him popping up again. I just about had it when I realized his hot and cold behavior didn’t actual foster the friendship between us & if anything made me feel like I couldnt really rely on him for anything. For example, there was a recent snow storm and I had to call out to my boss and she asked me if I could hitch a ride with anyone I know, I immediately said no, even though this guy lives 13 mins away from me, but I couldn’t bare to ask him for that favor despite us being “friends”. So on 11/22 I decided to just be upfront and honest about how I felt (minus the crush/feelings part) about this “friendship” or lack thereof. He read it but never responded.
And so.
I am the moon but the moon is VOC. I know and have read a VOC moon means “nothing will come of it”. The last aspect the moon made before going VOC was a conjunction to Mercury, which I see as me texting him. The next aspect the moon will be making is an inconjunction to Mars but I’m not entirely sure if this is relevant at all, because me being the moon and it being VOC is throwing me off in trying to understand how to read this chart, especially since L1 is literally me and the moon is void.
He is Saturn. Saturn is squaring the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter. All these squares make me feel like the situation was obviously challenging for him. Not a surprise because he’s a Gemini rising with his sun/mercury/saturn in the 12h lol
Do you guys think he’ll ever respond back to me or is this situation just dead in the water?
I’ll try to update in a few weeks, I checked my ZR for my lot of Eros and I have culminating/completion periods this week/coming up while he had a loosing of the bond in his lot of eros on 11/26. I just feel like this can’t be the end of it but I also don’t want to keep waiting on a ghost. :(
I made a horary inquiry some time ago asking "When will we move into our new house ?".
As I had the final outcome, I updated the original post for horary practitioners and those who might be interested to re-read the first chart retrospectively with the few details I added (the answer is in the last paragraph titled Final update).
Here is the link to the original post :
My supervisor lost her badge and I am attempting to help her find it. I am using the 10th house and its ruler to represent her because she is my supervisor, this is Mars. Scorpio is on the derived the 2nd house cusp so it represents the badge. Mars is also the planetary ruler.
The Part of Fortune and derived 2nd house in Scorpio says that the badge is close to her or in an area that she frequents. The badge could be near a water source such as a kitchen or bathroom. Badge could be near the ground, obscured from view. Could also be near junk or trash. The Part of Fortune is in the via combusta which can indicate the badge being near something combustible like in a kitchen or vehicle. It can also testify that the badge is obscured from view.
Mars in in Leo in the derived 10th house. Could the badge be at work? Or could it be near work items🤔. The 10th house can also represent the main room in a house, the public room. Mars can represent near iron, heat, or fire source. Leo can indicate an area where the pet spends a lot of time (she and her husband have a dog). Could be in a room with an outdoor view or related to something outdoors.
The Sun deposits Mars and is in the derived 2nd house. The badge could be in the main room, room with a heat source, with an outdoor view, in a large room. The mutable nature of Sagittarius says it could be in a compartment or chamber within a chamber. It may be with or near items related to books or travel. Could be near a heat source.
Finally, the Moon in Libra is with the south node which can show that the badge is eclipsed from light and hidden from view. The Libra influence can show where the badge is in a busy room, upper location, in a room where partner spends a lot of time.
I believe the badge will be found because the Sun in the 2nd is applying to Mars, the querent. The Sun can represent visibility. Also, the Moon is applying to both Mars and the Sun. The significators working together appears to be promising for recovery.
What do you all think? Any advice please.
Could be near something red, saffron, gold, or orange.
This friend of mine is close, usually we take 3h as in close friends but i had seen here people take 11h, for me it's more of a community or group of friends not for one-one or close friendship. 7h also suited for one-one relationship so I'm confused which house to take as signifier in horary.
I had an interview last month. Hiring process must be completed in this week, but haven’t heard them yet. I have a friend in this workplace according to hearing from her process is not concluded yet. The interview was very good actually so I was very hopeful due to my previous comprehensive background on this specific sector that I applied. So my question is there will be good news for me about this position? So my interpretation is that the moon application trine aspect to Saturn, which is the rule of the 10th house is promising. But the accidental position of moon and being in Scorpio is very weak for the moon on the other hand. So I couldn’t decide the probability of the chances.
Hello everyone.
I'm basically self employed but dreaming of a position in Asia.
I'm in Europe currently.
Querent: me, the moon in libra at 15⁰16 Quesited : jupiter R in gemini in its detriment at 17⁰45 (they're really struggling at the moment).
So you would think good there is an applying trine.
But not really. Venus at 17⁰46, who is my ruler, in mutual reception with saturn in pisces seem to work against me ?
Will venus block me from the trine to jupiter ?
Venus is on another axis, strong. In any angular house, moon too. But not as strong as it usually goes 1,10,7 and last is 4.
The job is in a cadent house. In the 12th. Which again, isn't great.
Anylne for an insight. I am lost.
This is regiomantus
Context: My lover who lives a few blocks away and I have amazing sexual chemistry but I don't know if he is genuine about wanting to meet again. We don't chat much as I prefer speaking to him in real life. I only text to ask to meet.
Interpretation: He is genuinely busy with work and social life (ruler in the 10th Capricorn) but the square with the moon in Libra is making me question whether it's only work that's holding him back. Would he genuinely want to see me again ? Or is he indifferent ? Its it only me who looks forward to a next meeting ? Are there other women ?
I want to keep things casual but consistent, at least. Mars my significator in the 5th. I was thinking of contacting him this weekend (yes I know, during Mercury retrograde of all times....) but I'm afraid of getting turned down. I'd rather not risk this rejection—especially since I don't understand what Sun in the 8th trining Mars could mean. Any clarity on this would help a ton.
Thanks !

My partner and I are looking to move out of our current apartment. It’s a great deal, amazing location, but we live in the same building as our landlord and she drives us up a wall. it’s very anxiety inducing and no longer worth the perks.
There’s an apartment complex advertising some units nearby with a good deal, and we have been trying to get in touch with them for a week or so (email, leaving voicemails, and filling out forms on websites etc) but we have yet to hear back from them which has been bumming us out. This is the only apartment we can afford that checks all of our boxes.
But I’m still holding out hope they will get back to us and figured i’d ask the stars if we will get the apartment!
I was happy to see that the 4th house ruler (moon) was in an applying trine to the ascendant (venus)… the moon is also opposite saturn which explains the delays! I’m curious what saturn would represent in this instance? Super curious to know about what is causing the radio silence.
It is also square jupiter, which makes me feel like they are getting a lot of calls and inquiries.
I think that we will get the apartment because of the trine, but I’m curious if anyone could give more specific insight as to the how/when? What is the house placement of the significators telling us?
P.S. The new moon in Sag is happening in my 4H Dec 1st, so it would be kinda funny if getting a new place coincided with that. I’ll keep everyone updated
hello guys! of course i'm another one asking about feelings while mercury opposite jupiter. i found a book about horary astrology yesterday (im into traditional astrology for about half a year) and of course first thing i did when i finished reading was asking a question.
context: please dont laugh about that, but i'm asking about my ex gf of 4 years. we were first for each other and right people, just in wrong time. we ended this relationship in very stupid way, about month after both went into new relationships (dont know how about her, mine was a big mistake and looking for anyone in her place) and we both broke up with those new after 2,5 years. we have no contact since 3 years, she move out to another city. but i realised that im still not 100% over her. as thoughts about her came back to me during previous relationships, it still does (about 1,5 year as a single). as a boomerang, once for 2-3 months. like short, tiny obsession. i feel strange connection between us, even if we're so far away from each other. few months ago i felt strong urge to contact her and apologize at least - this was me who behaved very ugly after breakup, but tarot said it wasn't good time. i accepted that and did nothing stupid.
and then i made a horary for two question (second one was about lost book, the answer is very accurate) and i'm not sure how to interprete the moon. i see we're in opposition, she (the jupiter) is in retro so who knows. but both planets are in disharmonic signs, so it doesnt look well. i see this connection anyway. yesterday night moon had trine with sun and opposition to pluto, in few hours it made a trine with mercury and sextille with jupiter, whats probably important for this case. i understand separating conj with mars as our ended relationship, but i have no idea how to interprete next positive aspects of moon while it and our significators are so weak. thank you for every hint!
//sorry for possible grammar mistakes, english is not my native
Has anyone else noticed all of the relationship questions recently that have gotten Jupiter and Mercury as the significators? Seems a common theme, and the heavens are leading people who need to hear an opposition to finally ask their question through this aspect transit. I've just thought it's kind of funny in an interesting way. It's always bad news for the relationship because of the mutual detriment, it shows these passionate and devastating interaction that can only end in tears.
Be warned, if you ask right now, you may get the opposition!
Was the affection between person A (f)(Sagittarius ASC) and person B (m) (Gemini ASC) mutual? Is there any potential for the future development?
I’d say L1 in 7th house and L7 in 1st house indicates mutual affection. Also Moon trine Sun seems optimistic.
Any thoughts?
Hello, I am looking for help with this chart. I cast a chart about 2 months ago asking if my boyfriend’s ex was stalking me and the consensus was that she was. Someone sent me a private message that said asking what her motive is, is a different question. Not sure if that is actually right or if I’ll get a different answer. I am assuming it’s out of jealousy, but the chart doesn’t seem to show that. She has stalked him online after their break up which caused him to block her on all platforms. She and I have a couple mutual friends on multiple social media sites, but since she’s blocked from my boyfriend’s accounts, I’m not sure how she found out that we were dating. I first posted a picture of him 2 months ago, but I have felt shadowed since before then. I would be lying if I said I haven’t visited her profile, but she shows up as “people you may know” daily so I see her profiles very often. It’s really odd.
So for my interpretation, I am represented by L1 which is Venus, as well as the moon. I used L7, Mars, to symbolize my boyfriend and L11 (boyfriend’s turned 5H), Saturn, to symbolize the ex. Not sure if that’s right. I do find this interesting because in the other chart I cast, I was represented by Mars (Aries 1H), my boyfriend was Venus (Libra 7H), and the ex was still Saturn (both times Aquarius 11H).
Mars is with the moon in the 4H and Venus exalts Mars. I’m taking this as I love my boyfriend, we want to be together, and possibly showing us having discussed moving in together. Venus is in detriment of the moon showing that I do not feel good about the situation and that it’s having an emotional impact on me. Mars is in detriment of Saturn showing my boyfriend’s dislike of his ex. There is no reception from Saturn to Mars from what I can see, which makes me think she has no interest in him.
What seems odd to me are the receptions between my significator and hers. Venus in Capricorn is comfortable with Saturn. I think she is very pretty, but this is really strange to me as I do not like her whatsoever (based on what my boyfriend has told me about her). Saturn in Pisces exalts Venus, which makes me think she likes me for some reason. Also considering that her significator is in my 11H, does she want to be friends or something? There is a trine between Venus and Saturn possibly indicating that there may be contact at some point. Not sure when however.
This is a lot more detailed than any other chart I’ve tried to read so I’m not very confident in this interpretation. If anyone could help me out that would be much appreciated!
I made an horary chart a couple days ago about a job offer I got. The results were not favorable, which is fine. Today, I got the official offer letter and got the hourly rate (which I didn’t know) and other information about the position I was not aware of. This does change how I feel but im not sure if It would be valid if I cast a new chart?
Thanks!
I met this guy 9 months ago. We were in a situationship - never called what we had a relationship and yet he made sure to control who I had contact with. He hated it when I talked to my guy friends and made me the cut them off. He was also incredibly mean with his words but that’s another topic. He was verbally abusive to me, and yet he had me wrapped around his finger and controlled me for 9 months until recently.
He has been avoiding me for a week (approximately?) - And for some reason I’m a wreck. I should be glad he left but mentally I’m spiraling because I don’t know WHY he dipped and that makes me feel so so worthless. Like you pulled me along for 9 months and then you just leave for an unknown reason?
I cast this Horary and asked “Why is he avoiding me?”.
I can see that I’m Mercury in Sagittarius and he’s Jupiter in Gemini. So there’s mutual reception but we’re both detriment and opposing each other (the aspect is separating I believe) - this is bad.
I can’t help but wonder about Mars in Leo. He’s also Sun in Scorpio trining Mars in Leo - there’s mutual reception and the aspect is applying. Mars is in his 5th house - did he leave me for another girl? Is that what it is?
I’m also Moon in Cancer and Venus in Capricorn but I’m not too sure what these mean. Moon is trining Sun so this could show my feelings to him? Venus is aspecting Saturn so there’s some restriction going on?
7th from 7th would land us to the 1st house ruler which is the querent.
Hello,
I recently got a job offer to be a kindergarten Aide. I’m currently a server, but I’m planning on going back to school to get my education degree and become an elementary teacher. I’m excited about this job but a little nervous, scared I won’t really like it and am not as passionate about teaching as I thought.
Unfortunately, the interpretation I’m seeing so far doesn’t look great. I’m represented by L1 which is Mars. In this case, Mars is in Leo, in the 4th house. Mars in a fire sign could represent my passion towards the career and working with kids. It could also represent my excitement.
The career itself is represented by L10, which is Saturn in Pisces. When it comes to this career, I’m guessing there’s something I’m not seeing? There are delusions and wishful thinking? Especially with Saturn in Pisces being in the 12th house. However, I have heard Saturn strives in the 12th house, so I’m not sure how to interpret this when it comes to jobs.
I also know because Leo is detriment in Saturn, it could mean that I will not enjoy this job. Mars makes no aspects to Saturn whatsoever so I don’t see a connection to this job. But also the 10th house is in Capricorn and Mars is exalted in Capricorn?
I’m wondering if the moon has any significance as well because it’s in the first well. I could feel comfortable being in Taurus?
Pls let me know what you guys think! Thanks!
I've casted a few different charts asking if I will succeed in various things. Specifically, if I get the job or if I hear back from somebody. Stuff of that nature. And there have been a couple times where the two significators are coming to an aspect, but the faster moving planet squares Saturn first. I've read this is typically viewed as a "no" and looked at as an external circumstance blocking it.
However - and I can't remember all charts I've casted with this kind of prohibition - I do remember the past few and all of them ended up being a yes, but, I did have a TON of limiting beliefs and anxiety + one of the charts, I actually did self sabotage it by quitting before I got the promotion I was after. But two were a real yes and an easy yes externally, just.. mentally I was all over the place about it.
My question is, can prohibitions be read as internal blockages to the "yes" which may or may not externalize?
I'm freshly post-divorce and this is the first big leap to start my new chapter! I have been staying with family friends for about a year now and they unfortunately are borderline hoarders, things get misplaced/buried often. I last had it on the dining room table (the dining room is filled with china, board games, boxes, paperwork, a printer, art supplies, etc. and things are always moved around.) we have been searching for DAYS going through everything. This letter-sized white envelope contains a decree of name change (this is the thing I need) along with my birth certificate and other identifying documents. I'm desperate for guidance! Will post updates.
This is my best interpretation, I am BRAND new to this and I lack knowledge when it comes to aspects!
2nd house (personal items) is in Uranus (unusual surprise location or may have a lightbulb ah-ha moment)
2nd house in Taurus (fixed sign hasn’t been moved or is indoors, earth sign meaning low to ground or storage)
Moon 12th house Pisces (near water? The dining room has china so maybe near cups?)
Mercury represents lost documents so I focused on this a lot- In Sagg, Taurus, 11th house
I read Earth signs mean South and 11th house is also South/ South East.
The south east part of the dining room is the area I last saw it. Ugh! Cleared out that area already.
But Sagg can mean high grounds (this contradicts the earthy low to the ground) or near the fire or radiator (my next step is clearing out the area in the doorway to the kitchen which also acts a recycling gathering place)
Mercury square Saturn
Maybe hiding in cabinet or drawer or under something, harder to see/access.
4th house (representing hidden things) is ruled by cancer (domestic family space)
Moon trine sun seems positive for recovery and also that it is in a warm comfortable place frequently used (living room best fits this description to me but dining and kitchen IS possible)
This house being hoarded/very messy is overwhelming. I need more indications on where/how to look for it. Currently tearing everything apart but still no luck.
Help with what I’m missing here.
Edit 2: If anyone knows any good texts for investment questions (2nd house or 11th house if the company/king's money, I guess), I would love to read. Frawley was helpful but I wanted some more examples as I receive these questions a lot from my clients. Thanks!
Hi everyone, I’ve read Frawley on questions regarding investments or anything having to do with second house / money. It’s so helpful and I would summarize it as follows: find the L2 and see if it’s gaining dignity or losing dignity (looking at all the dignity signifiers) in the future. That’s a huge over simplification, but to explain I know the tenets. Sometimes you can find another significator for the money (he uses a client’s example who asked whether to invest in gold and then looked at the Sun as a significator).
I’ve also looked to see if L2 is separating from any aspects or applying to any aspects with the malefics or benefics.
But I don’t know how to treat an L2 that’s about to retrograde. My gut says that has to be bad. But is it always bad? Or does it depend on situation? What if it will make an aspect with a benefic again once it retrogrades? What if it’s retrograding back to a face or term it has dignity in? Could that be seen as a second chance or a good moment for the client’s money?
Edit: oh what made me ask is that mercury is now in Sag its detriment but will move to Cap eventually … just in a long while after being retrograde. Ha! Can that still be good in the long run?
Would love anyone’s thoughts on the retrograde point if you have them.
A bit of background: my day job is as a teacher in a technical field (IT-related) in higher education. I've recently encountered a new class for the first time, and today while taking a walk I was wondering about how our first meeting actually went, what impression I made on them, etc. Since I'm always on the lookout for the occasion to practice horary, I decided I'd check a chart for reception between my and their significators.
The ascendant is Cancer, so my significator is the Moon, and if I'm going by H3 then theirs is the Sun. But something doesn't feel quite right here. I can't really explain, and I'm not really looking around for the best possible reception in the chart; still the Sun as their significator feels...off.
The Moon last aspected squaring Saturn, so that might show our recent encounter. Saturn rules H7 of other people and H9 of higher studies, and is in a double bodied sign (there are many students in the class).
Another possible suspect here would be Mercury as ruler of computers, which would also fit in with the plurality factor. Also, Mercury has recently entered the same sign as the Moon, as in they just started this particular class with me.
Ultimately, I base my horary practice on Frawley, and I know in some examples he shows how he chooses a significator based on what the chart shows and not strictly house rulership, but I'm not sure when this is appropriate.
Before reading the chart any further I thought I'd ask here, should I stick with the Sun?
Hello, I casted a chart for whether or not I’d get the car I’ve been wanting. I have been driving a MINI, but I drove it until the engine gave out. I found a new MINI in the colour I really want and I got to test drive it on Saturday. It was so fun!! I’m really hoping I get this car because I love MINIs. We’re going to the dealership tonight and hopefully driving it home. After I got back from the test drive, the salesman said the car was mine so hopefully that stands true.
For my interpretation, I am represented by L1, Mars and the moon, and the car is represented by L2, Jupiter. Right off the bat, I see that Mars is in his fall and Jupiter is in his detriment. I’m understanding this as me being disappointed and that there may be something wrong with the car. There are not many mutual receptions in this chart from what I can see. I don’t know how much of an impact aspects have when reading a chart, but the moon trines Jupiter, possibly indicating that I really like the car. So I’m interpreting this chart saying no, that I won’t get the car.
I will post an update in the comments later.
Hi,I dated this guy but he has always been wishy-washy about commitment. I ended things abruptly and harshly for that reason. I tried reaching out but he would not talk but kept blocking and unblocking. I’m preparing to close this chapter now (also shown by the chart with sun conjunct IC) so I asked if he wants to/ will he commit?
L7 is retrograde and peregrine but in Venus’s exaltation and moon’s triplicity. Mutual application trine to L1. I don’t think he can do it, forget being in my dignities, he seems to be walking backwards to make this happen but still aimless due to the peregrine nature of the planet.
The moon’s separating trine is my last attempt to reach out which didn’t go anywhere.
Thank you for your interpretation and help!
