There were in fact 3 Hiroshiges. The name Hiroshige was an inherited title.
The list:
The original Hiroshige (歌川 広重) (1797–1858). Born Ando Hiroshige.
Hiroshige II (歌川広重 2代目) (1829–1869). His art was so similar to his masters, the original Hiroshige, that scholars often confuse them.
Hiroshige III (歌川広重 3代目) (1842 or 1843 – 1894). Hiroshige III worked in the same artistic style as his master, but did not achieve anywhere near the same level of success.

I’ve had it confirmed by an auction house that this is authentic, possibly a chūban from the Sanoya Kihei collection. Although the margins are trimmed , and any stamp that was there is gone. What price range would this go for?
