What is a heliamphora?

A heliamphora (Marsh or Sun Pitcher) is local to South America and is identified as a carnivorous plant. The plant has similar functions to other pitcher plants.

Where are they exactly located On South American Tepuis

Sweet where can I buy them! I personally recommend California Carnivores but if you are experienced then order from ebay.

How wet ? Mineral mixes ?

Hey guys,

I just got 2 heliamphoras and am wondering how wet should I keep them:

1 is in moss and another is is some aquarium soil mix.

Do I keep them wet or just moist ? Also was curious if 100% pumice would work ( I keep pings that way with good results)

H.pulchella x (glabra x nutans) is a recent addition, it doesnt get more than a couple inches tall with sharp hairy nectar spoons!
