I was looking up a hat last week, and one of the sponsored sites was connerhats. I visited it and looked around, but ever since then, at least 50% of all advertising I see, in any platform, is for their site. It's gotten to the point that I'm getting serious scam (or wish.Com/Temu junk knockoff product) vibes from it, but I can't find any other references to it.
I may just be a victim of Google advertising gone rogue, but I'd like to get some sort of outside confirmation, one way or another.
Can someone who's smart about hats tell me what hat early 20th century Georgian Soviet playwright and poet Vladimir Mayakovsky is wearing in this photo? I would like to adopt an affectation. I have tried reverse image searching and searching by describing it to no particularly helpful result.
Made a post here about a hat I had owned for a while that finally gave out on me it seems. So I’ve decided to fold and just buy a new one. Any suggestions?
I need some help looking for a good hat, and it is what I would call an "adventure hat." I have a few criteria.
One: it has to be available in bigger sizes, size 8 and up (head size 26 inches), I have a big head and a lot of hair so anything smaller is not really an option.
Two: something like a cowboy hat, outback hat, or similar. Wide brimmed, I already have a few trucker caps for everyday use.
Three: crushable, or otherwise durable. I put my stuff through hell.
Four: water proof or water resistant at least
Five: I don't like straw or mesh hats.
Six: trying to keep it cheap, I don't have a lot to spend
Thanks for your help!

Hello! I found this animated gif showing the pictured District of Columbia hat from ‘47 Brand on their website when purchasing the Milwaukee hat from the same line. Trying to search for the DC hat on their site, on Google etc comes up with nothing!
Has anyone seen this DC hat? I really like the look and color choices of it, would definitely be interested in acquiring it. I’ve found a jersey and a flat brim hat with the same color scheme, but not this broken in dad hat look. Thanks!
I’ve owned this hat for a couple of months and all of a sudden the felt fabric on it is starting to bunch up. Is there a way to fix this?
I'll post again when it gets here
Hello. I have these two hats I've beaten up from long distance hiking and want to do my best to restore them to their former glory. I was wondering what kinds of people do this or if I can do it myself. Thank you.
Something like this. No bad ideas is the company but they are no longer in business. Is there anything else like this that's flexfit?
I want to search for hats like these, but i've got no idea what they're called. They've got these upturned brims that can be decorated.
If i can't find it, i'd even consider making one, if that's possible even.
Thanks!
As the title says, I'm looking to buy a few flat caps and I was wondering about what brand to look for. So far scottish lion and Boston scally are the ones standing out to me, but I don't trust Google sponsored recommendations.
As the title says, I am looking for a trucker style hat that I can wear, but the problem is no matter what size I have any hat on, it falls off super easy. I belive my hair is what is keeping it from sitting properly, and I am not getting a haircut anytime soon as I am trying to grow it out. Does anybody know if there is a company that makes larger trucker caps?
I noticed there are many difference kinds of straw hats that Asian rice paddy workers use. I was wondering what accounted for this.
In Vietnam, the land most famous for these hats, the hat is a conical shape.
In China, the hats have more of a broad brim, with a space in the middle that rises like a nipple for the head.
In Japan, the hats are the opposite, lying almost flat on the head like a slightly bent sheet of paper.
Is it just national style? Or are there practical differences between the workers in each country that accounts for the design differences?
Can one types of hat be found in another? In my experience, not really.
What’s up everyone! I’m just looking for recommendations for the best low profile hat brands. I like the fit of the New Era 59FIFTY LOW PROFILE but I want something other than sports teams.
Please let me know if you know any brands that are good quality with a similar fit.
Thanks!
Got this beaut in the post today. Perfect for when we actually get some proper sun! I will be changing the band soon. Will I get some yeehaws while out and about? Probably. Do I care? Nope 🤠
Hello, I've loved hats for a long time, and have a fedora (or maybe a trilby) at home, but I don't know much about hat shopping at all, what kind of prices I should expect, etc.
Recently, I've wanted to have a flatter brimmed hat (mine has a very curled back and sides with a swooping front) with maybe not too tall a crown. In particular, I quite like the kind of hats electro-swing dancers wear. For reference, I'd like a hat that looks like what these guys wear:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9tzhmgl7a8(https://youtu.be/G9tzhmgl7a8?t=90) (This is probably the cleanest shot I found of his hat.)
So yeah, does anyone knows where I could find these kinds of hats for a good price and relatively good quality? (I still don't want something too fancy I'll blow 100s of dollars on.)
Thanks in advance for your time, and I hope you have a great day!
Edit: There's a typo in the title, whoops, haha! The "something" is superfluous. I meant to write: "Where could I find a hat like this."
Hi - I've just been gifted a lovely Stetson Jacky Pigskin Traveller hat. I was just wondering if I need to treat / spray the hat before wear, or whether it is ready to wear as is? Never had a hat like this and don't want to ruin it the first time it gets caught in a rain shower! Thanks!
