Hi hello ! This is my first post here- I just want to say that I have been silently watching things unfolding online and have recently come to some conclusions regarding the content I intake. I think the hours of negativity, even just playing in the background, have had a negative impact on my mood.

I drive an hour to work in the morning and another 1hr home each day; I have spent a probably shocking number of hours listening to that show featuring Olivia that I used to love, but now I feel like it’s time for me finally jump ship and break up with this show. Please direct me towards any of yals recommendations for podcasts/ YouTube content! Commentary channels welcome etc.

Class solidarity is more important to me than culture wars and I’m sick of trans people and working class people being pitted against each other by liberals and conservatives alike, completely neglecting those whose identities overlap at that intersection. Like idgaf about someone getting the pronouns right away- I want fucking healthcare. Forgive me for rambling, times are stressful and I felt compelled to make an effort to connect with this community. I really enjoy Hasan’s content and am seeking additional voices.

I'm the barista Hasan met at LAX a few weeks ago and look wtf I just saw at my job.

And my god, was it hard to sit through and stomach Ethans dumbass arguments. He essentially glossed over Hasans argument about how rapes that occurred on Oct 7 didn't shift his opinion for the Palestinians yearning for emancipation. It would seem like Ethan has an elementary school level of understanding about political groups revolting against their oppressors.

When I heard how he said that Hasan is basically giving armed groups designated as Terrorist groups by the State Department a pass on their domestic policy, I couldn't help myself but just facepalm myself. I mean, did he not criticize Hezbollah and Ansar Allah's domestic policies and dealings? I mean, did my ears deceive me?

It's very infuriating how Ethan says that Hasan should face accountability for his actions like the other right-wing/Neo- Nazi content creators and should be on rumble as well. Ethan, they aren't being held accountable either. Not only that, BUT THEY ARE BEING REWARDED.

And on the segment of Dan Clancy "rewarding" Hasan, which I'll be honest, I'm not so sure if it's actual bias for Hasan, or if it's a mutually benefitting traffic to twitch. And due to the profit seeking motive of CEOs, it would seem as if the latter would be more apparent. Also, Dan is a creep for following verified Twitch e-girls? I mean, I guess it is weird to be following that many girls and use them to show off the new features. But if anything, it only shows us that Dan is more of a gooner than a creep. Kinda desperate of Ethan.

Ethan has especially fallen onto the idiotic notion that antisemitism is mostly coming from the left. He just continually plays into the trap of the ADL and Stop Antisemetism, who not only falsely smear Palestinian advocacy groups as antisemites but also give Elon Musk a pass for doing a Nazi Salute. And must we repeat the phrase: You're not Antisemetic if you support Israel.

This dumbass also claimed that the head of writing community guidelines, Fadzai Madzingira, was fired publicly from the British company Ofcom because she, drum roll, please drum roll she doesn't like the jews. But what was the context? She liked a post from BLM UK that critized the British Government of sending royal Navy ships to Israel to aid and abet its Genocide. So this man, who is supposedly on the side of the Palestinian cause, and believes that there is a genocide occurring, slams her as an antisemite for liking an IG post that acknowledges the UK govs complicity in Israel's genocide. I need to slam on me a jug of Hennessy to drink away Ethans dumbassery. Because holy fuck dude.

But what was the most infuriating part about the video, was when Ethan pivots to Frogan and her friend's Habibi tier list. This motherfucker, months after that video he made where he went on a tirade over believing that the stream was all about arab good, jew bad, is still gonna die on that hill over it. He still thinks that people who eat culturally apporpiated hummus are only jews. The burnout, as always, continues to equate Zionism (which we must continually exaustingly repeat, is a political movement, not a religious one) to Judaism, as if he thinks that calling peope Zionist is used as a Dog Whistle. Not only that, he brushes over why Sabra was on the BDS list (for funding the Golani and Givati brigades). Oh, and get this because the owner (He didn't specify if it was the founder or CEO) was Arab. You hear that, Ayyrabs? You're actually critizing the hummus that was made by the arab jews that are funding the military brigades onslaught of the Palestinians. Know your place. He's also playing in the "I'm a white colonizer skit" by showing those who are making the Hummus people of Arab origin. WELL ARE THEY WORKING IN THE SABRA FACTORIES? THEN WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH SABRA?

And trust me, I really want to go on and on about so much other dumbass shit this man has said. Especially where he says that these online leftists constantly call on people to kill other streamers they don't like. Even if they aren't joking, He Ignores the fact that they ultimately have no sway, nor do their audiences have no motivation to carry out these acts. But I feel as though I've ranted on long enough

So, my sole takeaway from this hour and forty-minute crashout, I feel like I might forever regret wasting. It would appear so that Ethan seems to only care about this group of people being "held unacountable" because they don't fit into his narrative of being a part of the American system. I am skeptical of this theory since it doesn't seem that Ethan did, in fact, feel betrayed. It would seem to me that rather than to talk about how much influence right-wing content creators have over our entire lives. But I'm starting to come to the conclusion that he does not care about any of that. It would seem that he is willing to get of these other content creators due to them just simply having the same opinions as Hasan. Despite running the risk of having right-wingers getting even more sway and influence and taking the place of left-wing content creators that Ethan was more than willing to destroy.

And I say this, as a childhood fan of H3H3, and with certainty. Fuck Ethan!

Also, Ethan calling Piers Morgan an experienced Journalist was fucking hilarious.

Keep in mind, I like Hasan. I watched the content nuke and saw IMMEDIATELY that Ethan was shamelessly clip chimping him to oblivion.

But why does Hasan keep platforming, to my eyes, right wing terrorists? Seems counter productive.

I'm not saying he has a hidden agenda here, that he's bought out or something, but could someone give me some context here? It was obviously lacking in the content nuke.

Edit: People are asking me to name examples! The main ones I can think of is when he interviewed that Houthi rebel, and those times where he plays terrorist music videos/propaganda on stream. There are some others, but this is Ethan Klein we're talking about, and it's very clear to me as a Hasan fan that Ethan's just blatantly showing us this stuff out of context, so it's hardly worth bringing up.

Edit 2: To make it clear, I'm not trying to say or imply Hasan is evil or something. I like him! The video is completely shameless in how it takes things out of context.

First and foremost, thanks Hasan for keeping it real and covering shit that actually matters rather than crashing out on super stupid drama bait. Anyways, I’ve always been somewhat politically involved but I’ve lived in a small town for the past few years which has made it harder to do much. With everything going on recently I kept hearing my own voice (and Hasan’s) in the back of my head saying “organize, organize, organize” and finally did something about it. Me, along with the local Palestine coalition and an immigration resource network recently held our first meeting to help train locals on how to deal with people in risk of being raided by ICE. We even got a rep from the ACLU involved which was pretty cool all things considered. Huge shout out to this community and to Hasan for inspiring action and speaking up for those who need to be protected. If anyone has any resources they’d like to share in the comments on how to help out, I’d love to see them, as I think we’re going to keep these meetings going. 🫶
