I'm kinda surprised, Hasan hasn't gone on Rogan. Didn't Kyle (Secular Talk) get Bernie on Rogan? Like I think Rogan would love Hasan.

This election cycle has definitely changed the political landscape of this country. I know a ton of otherwise well-educated, smart, kind people who have somehow quickly degenerated into simping for morons like Elon and voting for Trump.

And then if you talk to them about what issues they voted on, you’ll be left with more questions than answers. I hear shit like Trump will protect Greece from Turkey, trans people need to be kept away from women in sports and bathrooms, just anything that isn’t an actual issue. I would much rather people talk about their economic circumstances (even though their solutions aren’t correct). People are out here fighting ghost problems now.

The whole situation is deeply unserious (DOGE, are we serious?) and at the same time deeply concerning the level of intelligence in our country. What crazy things are people saying on your ends?

As a former trades worker, I can’t tell you how many normies listen to this man. His reach is huge. I genuinely don’t think he started all this with bad intentions, but this right wing racist turn he’s taking is going to further indoctrinate thousands.

Is there really no ground for Hasan to sue Destiny and his orbiters? I remember when Ethan had that lawsuit with Ryan kavanaugh or however he is spelled, and after that Dan always alerted Ethan when he was talking about him. Couldn’t the same be accomplished for Hasan and his absolute deranged lunatic stalkers destiny and friends?

So they would at the very least be very careful about their wording? I have no idea how Hasan can just take it like that and now with asmon and Ethan he got like 100k new psycho haters.

At what point does it pose a threat to his life or his brand? Does no law cover stuff like this ?

I keep thinking about a video I saw by D'Angelo where in 3 videos a fresh YouTube account was recommended right leaning anti-woke messaging, heck in one video it started suggested the critical drinker.

Republicans (and their substantial grifters) have certainly seemed to dominate this space. I'm wondering what needs to be done, if anything, to combat it.

I was talking with my trans friend who owns a boxing gym and we were just high scared and brainstorming about needing to master the algorithm and funnel competing content into similar hobby spaces in demographics that really turned this election (thinking of Hasan talking about male hobbies and right leaning propaganda)

Honestly though I fear that we are reaching a technocratic fascist inflection point if we already haven't hit it especially with Elon's influence.

Outside of community engagement and mutual aid, what can be done on a broader, more targeted scale to counter act and utilize the same foundational technology that the Republicans have seemed to get to earlier.

Note: I'm not saying "WE NEED MORE LEFTIST PODCASTS / STREAMERS" - I'm more trying to think through how would we even fucking start combatting on a tech level. I'm also trying to brainstorm through an ideal case where there is no $$$ corruption (that would just need to be handled platform by platform thru grass roots campaigns)
