I haven't kept up with HCFC in years. Has there been any new big developments with this club lately? I heard they're finally playing at Dillon. That must have been a hard pill to swallow for Aaron since Hartford Athletic is the primary tenant of that stadiumπ

Not gonna lie...I was surprised to hear that HCFC will being playing their home games in Portland, CT this year. And it got me thinking; why don't they change their name already? It's not like they ever played in Hartford. They started off playing @ CCSU in New Britain for a couple years and then moved over to UHart in West Hartford. Some will say the field @ UHart technically lies in Hartford but that's a stretch if you asked me. I understand the original plan was to have the team based in Hartford @ Dillon but we all know what happened with that. Seeing how the team has been bouncing around Hartford county for the past few years they could replace "city" with "county" and still keep Hartford in the name. Hartford County FC anyone?
So what does the future hold for this team? Are they going to remain in NPSL and play @ UHart for the foreseeable future? I remember a time when the owner (Aaron) wanted HCFC to:
Obviously all those hopes were dashed when Hartford Athletic became a thing and NASL was stripped of its D2 sanctioning thus losing any credibility it had left at that point.
Hopefully we'll be getting some news about the team soon!
