I'll be in Osaka on Saturday and would love to go to the game, but I understand scalping is not out in the open as it is in North America.
Is it feasible to get scalped tickets around the stadium?
Hello, my family and I are going to a game in Osaka next week. We are from the US and love baseball. Will there be street vendors to buy hats/shirts outside the stadium like there are in the US or is it more strict that you buy in the stadium? Will we be able to get gear for both teams? I’m loving the hats I see on new era but want to buy in Japan.
Thank you!
A group of friends and I (3 total) are looking at options for Hanshin Tigers tickets for September 3 or September 5. Currently every game for the season is sold out and tickets from 3rd party websites like Stubhub and Viagogo are going for at least 10x the original price. Is there any way to get tickets for a game without having to buy off of these sites or going through scalpers?
Watching the game tomorrow (June 4) and (June 5) vs. Rakuten Eagles!
Where can I see the list of the rooster for these days?
I bought this pack of cigarettes as a souvenir in Japan in 2003. I have been very tempted to open the pack over the years. Is there any value in this for a collector?
I am going to Osaka in May, and the tickets are sold out for the game against the giants. Anyone know a good bar to go watch and root for Tigers? I wanna go to a place where the locals go to try to make some friends.
Side note: does anyone one know a place to get second hand tickets? I really wanted to see them play against the giants but the tickets were sold out immediately.
Hello all! I did not know how difficult it would be to get a ticket to see baseball in Japan as a foreigner, but it has always been on my bucket list to catch a Tigers game. I'm open to any game this weekend and already tried buying through the official website after making a Tigers ID.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
THE HANSHIN TIGERS ARE YOUR JAPAN SERIES CHAMPIONS. 阪神タイガースはあなたの日本シリーズチャンピオンです
I assume so, just wondering if there's precendent for it? I can never keep white clothing clean too long :(
I'm flying in to Osaka on the 20th from Hong Kong, and my dad is flying in from the states. It's his first time visiting Japan, so I'm trying to create as many memorable experiences for him as possible on this trip!
Being big baseball fans ourselves, I'm trying to get tickets to the game on the 21st, but they're sold out online. I was able to navigate the Tigers website and register to purchase tickets. I even (accidentally) bought tickets for the wrong date (20th), and ended up giving them away over on r/osaka.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any leads to unoficially buying a pair of tickets for the game? Any websites, or does anyone here know of anyone who is willing to sell a pair of tickets to the game? Any leads would be greatly appreciated!
What's up fans? So Mel Rojas Jr made his debut and went 0-4..will he be another Justin Bour? Do you think today he breaks out? Did he get called up from the farm too fast? Tell me what you think.
I asked this a couple months back but figured this would be worth asking again now that Mel Rojas Jr. will be back soon: will he be replacing Marte or Sands? Is there another option on the table that I’m not aware of? Since both have done fairly well, it’s hard to gauge who he’ll be coming in for
I'm no Hanshin cherry boy but I'm more junior than most. Is this good of a start something to get jazzed about? How far into the season do you begin to put weight on the record/lead against the rest of the league?
Basically, how soon is too soon to get too excited?
Hi All!
Does anyone have a good source for Tigers gear (hats, t-shirts etc.) in the USA? I wish the New Era line of Nippon-League hats was distributed here--you can only find them on eBay for like $130.
Thanks in advance--go Tigers!
