Does anyone know what they are building on front of the Rutland neighborhood on 301?
I am looking for a basic d&d game, preferably a basic 3 core books game that is for people over ~25. I say the age because the Mechanicsville group seems geared towards people a bit too young for me to group with (sorry for all you people offended by this). I don't want a broken game of people who rule lawyer to the point of there is more time spent arguing the mechanics than enjoying the game. If there are no DMs who need someone, I am, reluctantly, willing to give it a go (though I have never done so) if there are some people interested in a basic game.
Looking for a new vet practice for our 13-year-old cat and 9-year-old lab mix. We've been taking them to a vet in the near West End for the past few years, but after some less than stellar experiences, I would like to find a new vet that is also more conveniently located, especially because the longer car ride once we moved to Mechanicsville was adding extra stress on my cat.
Would love opinions (good or bad) on Mechancisville Animal Hospital or any other practices. Pets are expensive, but cost isn't the issue - looking for a vet where owner concerns are treated seriously and not dismissed.
I've been out of town and just got back, I looked on the Hanover gov webs but didn't see any recent updates on the water situation. I have plenty of pressure but is it ok to consume it?
Water pressure is finally on the rise. If you need the bottled water, wait time at Atlee High School is currently less than 15 minutes if the line is inside the parking lot. Thanks to Walmart and Wegmans for keeping Atlee stocked with water.
I am at work in Henrico currently(11:00pm) with running water. We lost all water between 3:30 and 4:00pm in the 301/295 area of Hanover today. Just wondering if people are starting to see the water come back or are more areas seeing the end of their water.
Anyone heard anything about water working again? I saw the post from the Hanover website earlier today, but now radio silent. Was it related to the Richmond city issue or something completely different?
Two crazy loud booms have just happened in the past 10 minutes. It sounds almost like a canon going off. Anyone know what it is?

I'm looking for suggestions for a company that comes to you for windshield replacement.
I live in Hanover but work in Chester. Looking for suggestions near those areas. Thank you!
We are moving from the City to Hanover County. Typically have been very attentive to city council meetings in Richmond. Would like to do the same here. Any general thoughts on the Board or members? Any one else who regularly tunes in or pays attention? Trying to get a sense of the who and the what of county government.
I am bringing my Grandmother out here in November for a few days to visit. I would love to take her around but she is limited in how long or much she can walk. Is there any resource where I could rent a wheelchair, preferably one that could handle the parks and gravel areas such as Azalea flea market? Is there such a beast that can handle those terrains? I am not trying to take her off roading but someplace like deep run park where the paths are fairly maintained.
