Yeah I have quick saves in here from previous times but I've always done it in one run always using a manual save before the gargantuan map, so why can I not get it?
How do I fix this?
Custom facemaps are included.
Every time I load a save, it just freezes the screen to a frame, and when I press console it takes me back to the place where the frame was taken.
I would also like to know how to enable software mode
First of all sorry my bad english! My question is, If Freeman did the cascade resonance (not on purpose) and that was the first time of Xen aliens coming, why in some complex and zones there are some aliens in beds? Like if they did experiments long time ago with that aliens, maybe i don't get something ):

I have a few questions about things like hunter choppers, aerial synths, and other things.
Are manhacks, city scanners, mine placers, and roller mines self operated or controlled by someone behind the scenes? Or even a central AI type thing that connects to them all and controls them? Same question with hunters and striders. I would ask about turrets, but I think that's obvious that they are self automated, detecting motion and indicating whether the thing Infront is hostile or not, but how is it they determine if its shootable? Would they be able to tell if a combine soldier is fake, or does it recognize only uniforms?
Now the hunter-chopper, I am sure is piloted, but is it piloted by Civil Protection, or a pilot type unit that goes unmentioned? And then for the aerial synths, like gunships and drop ships, are they piloted or do they operate like the city scanners and stuff?
12 year old me and my friend pumped so many hours into this damn game man.
I loved seeing the living quarters and stuff, as far as I understand they were unique to Decay?
Back in about 2002/3 whenever it was we were playing it was up there with the most stuck I’ve ever been on a video game! Long before just googling solutions.
It was in the swimming pool area where there is a vent in the corner and you have to piggyback up to crowbar it. We were actually stuck here for probably a year or two and figured it out by total accident. That feeling of satisfaction and progression have rarely been matched.
The menu music was absolutely brilliant for ps2.
As dumb 12/13 year olds who thought we were hilarious, we shot Dr Keller (forever known as wheelchair guy) and Dr Rosenberg in the face so much that the dialogues became ingrained in my memory. At my 31st birthday a couple months back I was talking to the guy I played it through with almost twenty years ago and he mentioned it to me and I still remember the damn line and how he says it! “The dimensional rift between here and the alien world, MUST BE SEALED!”
Anyway hopefully stirs up some memories for people. It was absolutely brilliant couch co-op and provided me with so much fun.
This is more of tech question but I have an Apple M1 and it's incompatible with most games. I found out that HL2 works on it. I was curious if anyone knew if HL2 mods would also be playable if I got HL2 off steam?
Why do some citizens (More specifically refugees, but from other sources normal citizens too,) have different uniforms aside from the blue jacket. Some have a yellow jacket with a green collar and sleeve end, can anyone tell me why? Also, the rebels have 2 different jacket colours under their gear, green and blue. I would assume the blue is just their old citizen uniform, but where does the green jacket come from? Does that have to do with the cwu?
Title.
This said, I actually loved half-life 2 and the half-life series. Simply put, there were some gameplay elements in HL2 that were not great and those same mechanics seemed to be amplified in EP1.
Edit:
Lots of tight corridors and dark tunnels. I didn't like the lighting on a bunch of the maps.
Tried posting a video directly but it didn't work so here's YT:

Nothing new, but it's the first time I found him there. I was playing through again looking at stuff with noclip ;-)
title, I've been thinking about buying them because I've always heard about this series on the internet.
