A gun sub without the pretentious bullshit... an alternative to the toxic, snobby a-holes on many other gun subs. You know what I'm talkin' about
I got booted from /guns for no reason, so I'm starting my own sub, free from gun snob assholes... This is a Sub for gun lovers to show their guns, talk about guns, and guns, guns, and more guns!

Alright people I’m thinking about buying my first 9mm. I have a .45 and a .40 they’re both M&P and I love them. I’m thinking about doing the new metal m&p but also I’m thinking about a Glock. I’ve shot Glock I like them I like the availability of aftermarket parts, but I’m having a hard time making the choice. Any pros and cons from yall would be great.

WHAT THIS MEANS: No matter which state you’re in, if you’ve got your concealed carry license, each state will still have to honor it - for example, you have a Florida concealed carry permit - California would have to honor it.

I'll post the pics in the comments, and I'd like to know more about it. I was told it's British, but it's missing some bits and the barrel was sawed off, and it has some chinese/other symbols on one side.
I would do a 10/22 and an ar dias.
Picked up a VP70 recently and want to find a universal holster for it if I can so I don't have to drop the cash on a custom job. Google wasn't giving me much, I found some potential universal holsters that could work but with the VP70's unique shape I'm worried that they won't fit. If there are any other VP70 owners out there that have a holster for it, what is it? Thank you in advance.

thinking about buying 1000 rounds of 5.56 at the end of the month. I've always been attracted to Federal and opinions on the best vary wildly.
I'd like to see what you guys recommend
Hey all, many years ago as a teen I used to really enjoy target shooting with my dad's pistols. My favorite was some kind of .22 LR with a magazine.
My dad passed some time ago, and his things auctioned off to pay off Mom's debt.
So with no way to ask him what it was, I thought I might ask you guys. What's a good, compact, small caliber pistol for indoor use? Preferably with good capacity.
Thank you!
For those that have a 6.5 Grendel where did yall get your parts/uppers? I know PSA has some, everyone’s favorite BCA has them and a website called Grendel Hunter makes them too. Just looking at options for a future build
We've done well in the election. Now's the time.

We could potentially secure our rights moving forward for decades if we play our cards right.
I ordered the purple ano set and the stag shorty set. Ano was supposed to be mid October. Never came, so I called, waited over an hour on hold to be hung upon by the automated system. Devices to try the chat. 45 minutes, got kicked, tried again, FINALLY got a human. Was told late October on the ano, mid November on the shorty handguard. Fine, not happy, but fine. Still haven't recieve any of it so I messaged them again today. Now they are saying late November on the ano, soon (no actual eta) on the handguard. On one simple order they have made sure I will NEVER order from them again, nor will I ever recommend them to anyone I know. I'll tell anyone who asks about them just how trash this experience has been.
If you live in California, which blows for responsible gun owners, then you are mandated to surrender your fire arms to a licensed gun dealer or a law enforcement agency within 24 hours after you have been dully served; Ca. Penal Code § 18120 et al.
So assuming you have been dully served, the 24 hour clock is ticking, what’s your next move?
The best option to avoid California gun hating shenanigans on the back end of your restraining order blues, is transferring your firearms to a friend, IF YOU HAVE ONE, who is willing to go with you to a license dealer. This process is outlined under the following CA Penal Codes Penal Code § 27545 & 28050:
If you are a friendless hobbit, like me, and you are considering selling your firearms and reUPPING after the restraining order is heard, then you may consider selling to a licensed gun dealer.
However, if your sell your tools to a licensed firearm dealer please know that sweet AR-15 you paid a grand for the dealer is going to offer you the supper low ball/distress/take it or leave it offer of $37 and 52 cents, or thereabout.
Your last (lawful option) is to tender your firearms to a local law enforcement agency, preferably the one who issued the EMERGENCY PROTECTIVE ORDER TO THE COMPLAINING WITNESS in the first instance.
Cue up the time consuming game-playing California gun hating shenanigans on the back end.
Assuming the Court has dissolved the TRO post hearing
HOORAY-Dodger 2024 World Champ parade for you!!!
Now you’re ready to collect all your firearms you lawfully tendered to the local police.
PLEASE know that if you are dealing with LAPD or a NOR CAL equivalent police agency like San Francisco PD they are going to pretend that you are still a radio-active prohibited person and make you go through every hoop including paying for another live scan to be submitted to the CA Department of Justice to waste as much of your time is humanly possible.
My recommendation would be to begin a certified mail campaign informing the local police agency who is in possession of your weapons, and the CA DOJ you are no longer a prohibited individuals, therefore MOFO slide my blowers back… (Delete the last part).
In that same regard, maybe you want to file a formal complaint with the City Clerk to tee up a possible suit for the compelled return of your weapons, and in that same vein if the drag is with the CA DOJ then I have included a link below to begin the complaint process against them as well.
Bottom line, the last alternative is the uber least desirable route, & will require oodles of patience.
But know the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but he that shall endure unto the end. Stay thirsty my friend and I will see you at the gun range.(Ecclesiastes 9:11 & Matthew 24:13)

Hi All, I'm new to guns technology. While analyzing the inherited 38 special, I noticed that the barrel is smaller that the outside diameter of the Bullet. The bullet in the shell, fits inside the revalver without a problem.
Is that normal? Do the bullets squeeze into the barrel once they blow out of the shell or, is something wrong with it?
Any ideas?

i had been wanting to test my .25 pistol but it was late so i made this contraption from a bucket, layers cat litter and a cheap folded mattress protector in between. stops the bullets and dampens sound just fine. you may need a bigger bucket for larger calibers.
For me it's no stanstanding up while shooting and no rapid fire
The stupidest is not being allowed to pick up your own brass, luckily for me I have never encountered one of these ranges but I'm a reloader so I'm picking up my brass no matter what you tell me
